Adding the Tom Kenney article to the article's talkpage as an edit request
editAn edit request should be in the form of "change this to that". Your addition of the entire article to the talkpage was ill-advised, so I removed it. Thank you.--Quisqualis (talk) 06:29, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
January 2021: Your J. Pat O'Malley edit is problematic
edit"I've changed Years active, 1929-1985 back to 1929-1983 just like the last time." is not an adequate edit summary. Are you saying that you are a sock-puppet of another user who changed the dates previously but was reverted?
Here is the bottom line. You appear not to be aware that Wikipedia requires attribution. Verifiability is the bedrock of Wikipedia; verifiability has a greater weight than "truth" on Wikipedia. You have had most of your edits to articles undone by me (I'm not done yet) due to lack of sourcing to reliable sources. I'm putting some very important links all new editors should be familiar with in a section below. Please read them. Thank you.

January 2021: Wikipedia is based on reliable sources, not on your "guess"

Danny Mann
editHello Alex. If you would like to recreate Danny Mann, I suggest making it in WP:DRAFT space and going through WP:AFC (here: Draft:Danny Mann, and using: {{subst:submit}}), starting by a list of sources that can be gradually integrated as inline citations (WP:CITE) as the article develops. Patrollers and other editors will be more convinced that the article meets notability standards (WP:BLPN) if the sources are immediately visible. Happy editing, —PaleoNeonate – 19:27, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Adrian Truss
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adrian Truss requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. MadD (talk) 02:34, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
- This article was initially created 10 October 2006, and has an unfortunate history. WP:BEFORE done, and It would appear that Mr Truss is journeyman professional actor, writer and so on for film, television, and stage, but fails the WP:ENTERTAINER test for notability. Please let me know if you disagree with this. Pete AU aka --Shirt58 (talk) 10:42, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
July 2021
editPlease stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Main Page, you may be blocked from editing. SuperMarioMan (Talk) 09:35, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
Adrian Truss moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Adrian Truss, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Tony Todd
editI'll bet you Tony Dodd was 14 or 15 when he first came into high school, he started theater and acting for a very long time. He was either 18 to 20 or 19 to 21 years old when first came into or when he graduated the University of Connecticut, back in either 1972-'4 or '73 to '5.

Stuart Zagnit
editStuart Zagnit I'll betcha Stuart Zagnit started acting, singing, and had done other Broadway performances was he was 18 to 22 years old.

ANI
editHi - WP:ANI is a forum to draw the attention of administrators to urgent or chronic behavioural issues with other editors. I don't really understand what you were trying to achieve with your recent posts there, but I'm pretty confident that it was not the correct forum. I doubt whether anyone will have seen the posts you put above. The normal place for making suggestions about improving articles is the relevant articles' talk pages. However, I'll make a couple of observations about the sources you've posted above. Wikipedia articles are not reliable sources; we can't use ourselves as a source of information, that becomes circular. Fandom sites are also never reliable, they are user-generated. I have no view on Horror News. The Montclair State Uni source could potentially be used to support an assertion that Zagnit graduated from that institution with a BA in Speech and Theatre in 1974; it gives no further information about his age when he was doing Broadway performances. Finally, please don't speculate about people, or try to figure out one thing from the date they did something else. WP:SYNTH is worth looking at - in essence, we summarise what sources say, without trying to fill in the gaps that they leave out. Best Girth Summit (blether) 16:42, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
- I've just noticed that you've been attempting to spam that Richard Tatum link at multiple locations - at Wikipedia's 'Contact us' talk page, at the Main page's talk page, and again at ANI. I don't know what it is you're trying to achieve, but that sort of thing is disruptive, and may lead to your account being blocked. Please stop it. Girth Summit (blether) 16:48, 3 October 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Alexkrzywicki1
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username ClydeFranklin, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Kenny James (actor), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|ClydeFranklin}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- What kind of references, like which ones? Alexkrzywicki1 (talk) 02:15, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
Kenny James (actor) moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Kenny James (actor). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Significa liberdade (talk) 03:02, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- That's why I can't do it alone, that's why I created it for other people to help fix, and so that way, it's officially on Wikipedia. 2607:FB91:1B63:2035:43D2:261:EFA6:A8FD (talk) 17:49, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Tom Wyner
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Tom Wyner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tom Wyner. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. editHello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Studiopolis, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 08:29, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
