Actually, I was referring to Special:Diff/981355912 (though this was not the only case, which is why I mentioned it). This is a perfect example of the reason not to do it, since it makes both Nick and I look like we're crazy, since the statement we were responding to is no longer visible to anyone reviewing the discussion (unless they were to dig into the history, which is unlikely).
