Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Kautilya3 (talk) 19:53, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
Okay @Kautilya3 but your user page gives wrong information about yourself. It talks about a dead person
- Yeah, good point. I never thought of that. But, coming back, please be sure to sign your posts with ~~~~. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 20:41, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
@Kautilya3 Hi, if i have to tag someone to notify them of something do I use @ and user id of the person? Anti4ITCELL (talk) 23:10, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

National varieties of English
editHello. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. — kashmīrī TALK 20:33, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
ping work like this
editto ping a user, use {{ping|Username}} otherwise they can't get notification --Anonymous
Indeed. And you can ping several people at once using {{ping|Username1|Username2|Username3}} etc. Please note that if you get a spelling wrong then editing it will not send the ping - you have to get it right first time. Also, there are reports that pings are not always received, although I think that is much rarer now than in the past. - Sitush (talk) 23:28, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
Thanks ! Anti4ITCELL (talk) 23:47, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
Please be aware of the following
edit- Sitush (talk) 00:11, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@Sitush: This is absurd, you are just framing me up by putting a wrong note on my account. I reverted my own edit and you reverted it without noticing it which means you are only interested in reverting my edit. Every time when I edited I added something new and different but you reverted it. You are bullying me. Anti4ITCELL (talk) 00:32, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Anti4ITCELL. Discretionary sanction notices are placed for information purposes and don't necessarily mean that you've done something wrong. Usually, if you edit a lot in a DS area, you can expect a notice making you aware of the sanctions in place. --regentspark (comment) 00:37, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Yadav. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.--regentspark (comment) 01:05, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@RegentsPark: I Did not make any reverts on the Yadav page. I reverted my own revert. Please stop posting false notices on my account. I didn't undo any edits except one of mine. Stop framing me by accusing me of false charges. Anti4ITCELL (talk) 01:10, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Anti4ITCELL: [1], [2], [3], are all reinstating all or part of the same information and count as edit warring reverts. --regentspark (comment) 11:27, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
For disruptive editing around Yadav, including changing of sourced content to personal preference etc, I have decided, in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the terms of this community discussion, to impose the following sanction on you:
indefinitely topic banned from any edits or pages related to castes and social groups of South Asia, including but not limited to articles, talk pages, user talk pages, categories, templates and other pages or talk pages across the English Wikipedia
This sanction has been logged at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction to the community at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me on my talk page, before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. —SpacemanSpiff 04:19, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
.
@SpacemanSpiff: whatever capacity you might be in but on what basis do you ban me from editing?? I didn't engage in any disruptive editing nor did I revert the edits of any user. I just added sources. Also I didn't even talk about Kshatriya status. Then you banning me means a vendetta or why would a so called uninvolved administrator interfere when there is no disruptive editing?? Can you show me where did I engage in disruptive editing. You all seem to be a part of Sockfarm who don't want users to cite sources.Anti4ITCELL (talk) 04:25, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- This is a violation of your topic ban, any further violations will be met with blocks. —SpacemanSpiff 04:27, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@SpacemanSpiff: you have banned me for wrong reasons and you are bullying me. I did't engage into any disruptive editing and you have banned me because you and SITUSH are a wiki sockfarm. If you have valid reasons to ban me then cite the exact reasons and exact edits of mine out here. Anti4ITCELL (talk) 04:31, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- You have already been given enough reasons and you've continued your crusade on the article after that, I'm not going to reconsider the ban, it is needed. —SpacemanSpiff 04:33, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@SpacemanSpiff: My debate took place only on the talk page which is allowed and absolutely allowed. I didn't mess with the main page, you are on purpose banning me for no reason. If you have a specific genuine reason then quote it here with exact proof Anti4ITCELL (talk) 04:35, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@Doug Weller: Hi Doug can you please help me here. This Spacemanspiff is banning me for no reason. Spacemanspiff and Sitush seems to be sock-puppet account. An Uninvolved administrator comes and bans me for no reason. I didn't revert any user's edit on Yadav page nor did I undo anyone else's edit. I just added some good sources to which these people have a problem and thus are misusing their admin rights to stop me from adding more content. Anti4ITCELL (talk) 04:40, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- That's nonsense, they aren't sock-puppets. Doug Weller talk 05:18, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@Jimbo Wales: Jimmy can you please help me with this unethical banning Anti4ITCELL (talk) 04:49, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- Not going to happen, he doesn't do this anymore. Doug Weller talk 05:18, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. —SpacemanSpiff 11:45, 7 June 2018 (UTC)- You were warned sufficiently that you can't edit about castes or social groups anywhere, now you're doing it on this talk page too, so I'm extending the block and revoking talk page access. —SpacemanSpiff 12:04, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. —SpacemanSpiff 15:24, 9 June 2018 (UTC)- You've been told enough and more times that you aren't allowed to edit about castes anywhere and you continue to do that. If you do it again after your current block expires then you are likely to be blocked indefinitely. —SpacemanSpiff 15:54, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
