One of the complaints made by someone was the use of the word 'Fathers' when referring to religious Orders. As part of the book & docmentary I have been writing I went to the 19th century books & early 20th century correspondeences, and there, were phrases referring to the 'Soudan Fathers.' & 'Whote Fathers' Another case of some amateur editor who was on a power trip and doesn't know as much as they think they do. I published the articles elesewhere

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romanesque. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Armourae. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Wuthering Heits (2016 film), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Your use of the pronoun 'we' suggests you are connected and editing as and/or for a group. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:14, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

as for the draft article, , what is needed is evidence from a third party reliable source that principal photography has already begun. If so, ass the source and resubmit. ( DGG ( talk ) 19:23, 29 August 2016 (UTC) -- DGG ( talk ) 19:27, 29 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Arthur von Frankenberg moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Arthur von Frankenberg, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The first person, whoever it was,apparently its GMCmcrow who moved the article on this artist and designer, complained that I had not supplied references. I had actually given 16 external links. The article was of use to the arts and design pages on Wikipedia as Frankenberg was a famous and notable designer who has descended into obscurity since the 1930s. Therefore fulfils an important part of Wikipedia's ethos: providing accessible information to notable information, events and people that would otherwise be difficult to find or would be very obscure. I couldn't be bothered arguing with whoever was on a power trip & simply published it elsewhere.
