Welcome to the Wikipedia community, Autismdiva! And thank you so much for weighing in on the Talk:David Kirby page...
Here are some of the perfunctory useful tips (mostly borrowed from ClockworkSoul), to speed your indoctrination into the Wikipedia experience:
- Take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial.
- When you have free time, try to grasp some of the nuances at Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. But keep in mind the unique style you brought to the Wiki!
- Don't worry about keeping up with the Jones' learning curve on NPOV, but be respectful of others' POV and use a neutral point of view; your unique perspective on the meaning of neutrality is invaluable!
- If you need any help, don't hesitate to post a question at the Help Desk.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, please, do have fun!
And some odds and ends:
- Wikipedia:Policy Library
- Wikipedia:Utilities
- Wikipedia:Cite your sources
- Wikipedia:Verifiability
- Wikipedia:Wikiquette
- Wikipedia:Civility
- Wikipedia:Conflict resolution
- Wikipedia:Brilliant prose
- Wikipedia:Pages needing attention

With regards to your comments at the Talk:David Kirby page, specifically your observation it appears "...Mr. Kirby has chosen not to talk about his activities as a gay rights promoter," seems correct, as such associations at the Evidence of Harm website were not plainly evident. Sorry about the oversight, which resulted from focusing primarily on the vaccine controversy; it was unintentional. And thank you for adding your perspective!
Best of luck, Autismdiva, and have fun! Ombudsman 19:11, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
