Yet another sock

Hello Uzek yet another sock of Roblox has arrived [1] editing exactly the same articles there previous sock Edwinstowe was. I would recommend you report this new account BUT also request page protection so they are unable to continue vandalising these pages otherwise they will just return with there abusive accounts thanks. 2A02:C7C:6782:7A00:886:E106:5E64:EBF8 (talk) 11:24, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

Also looks like admins have not yet blocked other accounts like [2] 5jaabi who is reintroducing old sock edits not sure why they are taking so long its obvious its a sock of prince of roblox. 2A02:C7C:6782:7A00:886:E106:5E64:EBF8 (talk) 11:26, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

Can you review this

Uzek I was wondering whether you could review this edit by a user on the Gilgit article it seems undue and from a biased source [3] the edit summary itself seems like they are pov pushing the source is from Srivastava Dinkar an Indian source and also this edit [4] all seem to be non neutral edits and it's clear the user has come to push one narrative its Undue firstly and is not neutral along with it being copy and pasted into the lead its out of place and gives too much attention to an Indian source. They also should gain consensus before adding it. Sensai7 (talk) 10:56, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

Hi,
Assuming you're new here, you can edit the article once you're an autoconfirmed user i.e are 4 days old and have atleast 10 edits (so 2 more to go).
Better option would be properly justify yourself on the article's talk page about the reliability/neutrality of the source (I'm not familiar much with this side of history)
Uzek (talk) 12:44, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
Yes okay thanks but the user has cherry picked an Indian source to push a certain point of view and i think anyone can argue that its undue and infringes on neutrality. Sensai7 (talk) 13:45, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
That would still need a lot of reading and digging into. Uzek (talk) 00:07, 24 March 2023 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Zain Khan Durrani, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kashmiri.

Potential account of Prince

Hey Uzek so this old account made like 4 edits the most recent one was this [5] The Great Gama article was protected last year but recently unprotected as people were arguing over nationality they reached a compromise and referred it to as British India or British Raj but these account recently restored a very dodgy version again calling Gama an Indian even though he had Pakistani citizenship and performed under the British Raj they also removed mention of Pakistan from the categories section could be roblox sleeper account. 2A02:C7C:6782:7A00:6053:8595:F2B3:6795 (talk) 12:17, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

This one seems like someone else's sock. Uzek (talk) 17:21, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

User:PadFoot2008

Kindly report this user he is doing controversial and POV Nationalist edits changing British India/British Raj with "present-India" in every article edit, this user already been warned multiple times by other editors check his talk page. 223.123.99.34 (talk) 18:45, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

Already reported by someone else with no action. They stopped editing after the final warning Uzek (talk) 07:06, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
Uzek looks like another roblox account [6] editing surname of kashmiris like the old account BomaiyukBatt [7] and also adding India back to lead sentence to claim it even when the two sources state it is disputed territory so should be called administered as sources mention. Also a random old sleeper account has appeared restoring Roblox edit [8] suspicious how the turned up as soon as the latest sock of roblox got blocked they strangely seem to be restoring these edits and its a sleeper account it seems they might be utilising another account a check user cannot be filed by me its protected would appreciate help. Yep

You were right, plus one older account. Girth Summit (blether) 09:15, 7 October 2023 (UTC)

Good evening Kiu99

I hope everything is well with you. You have reverted one of my edits on Baloch people. I appreciate your contribution, however your use of ultraviolet as Vandalism in your tags doesn't explain it because there is no Vandalism in the revisions I commit. I eliminated dead links with an explanation; there is no vandalism there, because if I changed or removed the information without an authentic explanation or a legitimate claim, it would surely reflect vandalism, which I did not do, so you misinterpreted the phrase vandalism. I would like to request that you include some trustworthy sources about their population in Oman, as well as some reliable sources about their population in Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, India, and the United Arab Emirates, since I am not opposed to this type of referenced content or neutral point of view. This is only a notice to indicate that your missed tags tagging vandalism do not match the usual criteria for vandalism, and you can remove it at any moment. Thank you Fancy vißes (call) 23:24, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

I'm sorry. Didn't mean to tag it as vandalism (explained it in the next edit summary). I redid your removal of dead sources with citation needed tags. Will edit the article with sources again when I get the time. Kiu99 23:35, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
It happens sometimes because I'm not used to using the tool + difficult to navigate options on mobile. Kiu99 23:39, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
@Kiu99
It's fine, however be cautious when utilising Ultraviolet or other tools to place vandalism tags, and please carefully read Wikipedia's vandalism policy "Even if misguided, willfully against consensus, or disruptive, any good faith effort to improve the encyclopedia is not vandalism". Lau Cheng

Hey Kiu99 how are you. I have found what I believe to be accounts of banned user Lau Cheng: Dove5647534 [9] usual edit summarys giving it away also note how they initially make a random edit on a totally random article then proceed with their usual edits with poor sourcing and severely biased point of view. Another one [10] same edits same page, Also User Strange099iu with the usual pov on the same domestic violence page [11], Drusillat 434 another one clearly a sock [12], Sujam34t43 also editing child marriage along with dove account [13] I have tried to remove their edits as much as I can probably loads more sleepers around would be grateful of your input I am sure its the same sock edit summarys and pov edits are just so obvious to spot kindly report. Mrdabalina (talk) 13:03, 15 October 2023 (UTC)

Already reported by someone else at their case page currently, so if any sleepers are to show up they should there. The above account edits are too old.
Lets just stick to mass reverting whenever you see them, since they never reuse their account afterwards Kiu99 (talk) 21:26, 15 October 2023 (UTC)

.

Please help me with... [14] How do you properly link to a page in an edit summary ?? Think I've gotten this wrong the second time and I rather not experiment with this on random pages Kiu99 (talk) 15:49, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

URLs do not work in edit summaries, but wikilinks do. If you want to link to Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard#Question you would just pipe it like normal. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 15:59, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
Ok thankyou. Kiu99 (talk) 16:07, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
