editon the genetic code talk page before the figure being discussed is inserted. Doug youvan (talk) 02:44, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the invite but I know squat about the subject at hand, probably just did a fly-by revert of some vandalism hence why I'm one of the last 10 editors. Hope your issue gets resolved though. treelo talk 10:33, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Talk:YouTube Poop
editSpeedied and salted. :) Thanks, PeterSymonds (talk) 22:43, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- No prob. treelo talk 22:44, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
orphan tag already has orphan cat
editHi, I noticed from your edit here that you are adding CAT:ORPHAN as well as the orphan tag. Please don't do this. The orphan tag adds the category automatically, and then the de-orphaners from WP:O scratch their heads wondering why it's still in the category after we removed the orphan tag. Thank you, and happy editing!--Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 19:48, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Duh, knew something was amiss! Thanks for informing me. treelo talk 19:52, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Just FYI:
editFor starters, [1], but I reverted with an edit summary at [2], and a message on the talk page at [3]. I'm not in the mood for this kind of stuff, so I'm just trying to keep you appraised. Yngvarr (c) 14:59, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough, thanks for keeping me upto date and might deal with him myself if he decides he still wants to be a nuisance. treelo talk 15:14, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
More stuff
editLet's see...
{{CN Current collaboration}} created. This transcludes Wikipedia:WikiProject Cartoon Network/Collaboration/Current to identify the target. I just chose a random article which felt like a good starting place. There is a transcluded doc, Template:CN Current collaboration/doc, pretty terse at the moment. Yngvarr (c) 10:38, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Looking good, I still feel like we're in a working beta right now though, odd. We probably should start with the recruitment drive, notify current and active editors on WP:TOON/M about it and how they should be involved. Maybe even find good editors outside our current areas because our limited scope only pretty much ignores the "action" shows as we don't/can't maintain those articles but I know there's a few which work with some modicum of maturity and smarts, there must be. treelo talk 12:55, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Made {{CN-Outreach}}, a welcome-ish message. I figure we can use this on current members talk pages. Will try it out later myself. Yngvarr (c) 20:15, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Careful where you use it, don't really want it on the talkpages of those who haven't contributed for 3 months or more as it's a bit pointless. treelo talk 20:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

I figured it out...
edit...school is out. Yngvarr (c) 18:36, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- That sort of sleuthing makes me cry out gadzooks, excellent work! Now, to see if we can make it to September without having to request semi-prots for anything. treelo talk 19:18, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Your comments on my talk page
editI did not really appreciate either the tone or substance of the comments you made regarding Ed, Edd n Eddy. How about a little good faith assumption thrown my way too, eh? It was a simple mistake. How many times have I arisen, loaded my watched pages, to see that someone has been jacking around with the "original run" dates again. "Here we go again" is the normal reaction. And, again, that reaction may be justified, as the user Paper Luigi continues to insist on changing it, even though nothing has happened yet to warrant changing it. I'm not going to allow that to be changed until an episode actually airs that changes the show's history. -- Elaich talk 13:48, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Now, usually I'd assume good faith to anyone else who I didn't know the past history of but not you. You assumed bad faith yourself by being so militant when it comes to the end date and whilst it might have been an accident with the revert, I still don't believe that it was in bad faith even though your wording towards PL seems to imply it. This isn't your normal "change the date because someone said it on a forum" drive by change but one which is sourced and one I'm willing to give credence to as it's not just a baseless change like the rest have been.
- You're heavily tied up with "protecting" this article and from what I can see, you're not helping it. Unilateral decision making by you alone and stepping far too close to violating WP:OWN pretty much makes sure I won't assume good faith on your part irregardless of what you've done for it in the past. For what it's worth, your date is no better than PL's and neither was your justification for keeping your date of choice as it doesn't seem anyone is agreed on the end date and as such should be considered ongoing in my opinion (which is non-binding). I'll tell you and PL now, neither of you change that damn date unless you're both willing to find a consensus. Start a new section on the talkpage and find a consensus that way, until you can find it I suggest that present be used instead or comment out the section completely. treelo talk 15:51, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Chowder (TV series)
editYes, you are here, Treelo. You can help me by improving the article, too. The three of us can work together to help trim the fat from the Chowder article, tighten the prose, add sources, et cetera. I tend to get in the way a lot, so I'll take the role of Chowder. :-P Who gets to be Shnitzel? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 00:41, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Glee, just a bit miffed as nobody wanted my input! I can definitely do some further work but source gathering has never been my strong point, I just work the code and bits of grammar and watching, always watching. Meh, seeing as you have beaten me to two reverts in the last hour you're living upto being that fat bunny cat kid so I guess I'm left with Panini seeing as Yngvarr is very much Shnitzel. treelo talk 00:49, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- It's Ok. I tend to be a little taciturn at times, but your eyes catch things that I easily overlook. And now with at least three active people keeping watch, maybe we can keep the maddening crowd at bay! And you know what I mean without having to cite WP:AGF pfft Yngvarr (c) 13:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'd figure to be called Shnitzel to be something of a compliment, meh. Nonetheless, there's enough good eyes on this now (for some reason) to keep it clean and improving. Still, very weirded out about the last 12 hours or so seeing how we somehow got a vet editor attached to our stupid little show (and our project, ties that bind and all that) and a few other well-known names in our talkpage. treelo radda 14:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Reminds me of my misspent youth, you discovered a good band, then it gets popular. I'd rather be Gorgonzola, his surly attitude fits my personality. Yngvarr (c) 15:15, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, yeah but then again it's just a handful of distinguished editors, when I start finding the big hitters coming along then I know to worry. It's OK not wanting to be Shnitzel and as I like you as Gorgonzola I'll take the place as the rock monster. treelo radda 17:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I just got interested in Chowder last week, for what it's worth. But really, what harm can a veteran editor do to a B-class cartoon article? (By the way, Treelo, you really should change your sig so that it says Radda.) Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 16:37, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Bring it to GA-class or better? If only watching for a week gets you motivated enough to actively look after the article then I'm overjoyed even if all we were getting was a new name to the regulars here but that it's someone of good standing makes it better than thrice cream. (And yes, I do now have radda in my signature, I'm now trying to work out where I could put the line "But she's a horrible man".) treelo radda 17:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I'm just resentful that I didn't think of the radda in my signature thing is all. But seriously, it'll be nice to have an extra pair of active (eyes? fingers on the keyboards?). And now that you've joined us, you can see if you can help us attain one of our long-standing goals of a GA article. Yngvarr (c) 22:28, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry
editYes, I copied the archiver from Dwilso, I hope thats ok with you!!!Buddha24 (talk) 01:20, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- No reason why it wouldn't seeing as I use the same archiving bot. Might need a smaller cutoff than 12 threads though, don't seem to get enough to justify it, check all the parameters at User:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo and set it up how you like. Might need a bit of fine tuning during the first few months. treelo talk 01:23, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
I think something is screwy
edit{{helpme}}
Your talk page looks funny now. There is a text box at the top, which overlays some of the other text. And if I scroll down to the "More stuff" section, it looks like the MediaWiki footer (at the bottom of all the pages) is being plastered. I can get you a screenshot if I'm not making sense. Yngvarr (c) 23:35, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, it looks funny to me too. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 02:54, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- I know, I know. It sometimes does that and sometimes doesn't like right now, I'm putting it down to some sysop futzing with MW code over anything else. Thanks for your concern though, much obliged. treelo radda 10:14, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- After this got to my attention it has happened again today (right now as of typing this) and I wish I could say there was some form of constant here but there isn't. If you're responding to the helpme tag, can you figure this out? Before you say it, it's not the code. treelo radda 12:04, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- This looks hopeless. I think you'll have to scrap it and just go with a NORMAL talk page,
ShnitzelTreelo. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 12:06, 27 June 2008 (UTC)- Hopeless? Is it only me who's made of rock and tough enough to handle these problems without going "ooh, it's sooo hopeless, let's give in and get rid of all your spangle"? I've pinned it down to code but not on this page but on User:Treelo/Status which I had to adjust to allow room for the semi-prot padlock which only affects padding for that div. Thing is, it only occurs if I'm off, when I'm on or busy then it renders fine. So, checking it over it seems I have a separate div which does nothing seemingly so I've cut it out and hopefully all should be fine as otherwise there doesn't seem to be anything wrong though if you feel you know your MW CSS well enough you're free to go and have a swipe at it. Just don't eat any of the code. treelo radda 12:45, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know CSS code. Codes are yucky. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 17:58, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
