How does adding CMC and VIT is termed as Vandalism
How does adding CMC and VIT is termed as Vandalism? When SRM, Ethiraj, Amritha, TCI are listed in the college list, why not CMC and VIT? Have you seen the ranking list of colleges for the last 3/4 years? If not let me know, I will furnish you the details. Let me know how many of these colleges that are listed here are better than these two?
I have added this some 10 times and it has been removed. Its really frustrating.
Instead of engaging in these kind of unwanted things, it will be nice, if members can support other Tamilnadu related wiki entries. In Vellore page, some company by name Vellore online has claimed bogus copyright and that is still not resolved. Your help in resolving that issue will be really appreciated. Geico2000TALK 11:09, 01 Feb 2012 (UTC)
First I am not sure about the guidelines. When I want to convey my message in 10 lines I don't want to read guidelines for 500l lines. As I thought that you were not aware of these colleges, I was focused on conveying my message. No dis-respect intended.
Now my apologies if I have done damage to the page. I didn't know that and it was not intentional. Thanks for pointing it out. As I am in the learning curve I might have done that. My true intent is to contribute to Tamilnadu pages. I hope you can understand that.

Hi Babu, Can you please join Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Assessment/Tag & Assess 2012, a 3 month event to overcome the huge backlog in WP India. Thanks. Ssriram mt (talk) 04:02, 2 March 2012 (UTC)ssriram_mt
Krishnagiri toll plaza
Hoi, I added the picture there as there is no picture in the section. Why is it not necessary ??? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 07:50, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks mate. As i published earlier, we had a Tag and Assess 2012 contest and has been highly successful. We are closing it on 31st May and nearing 100% completion. Ssriram mt (talk) 15:06, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi Babu, if you feel sockpuppets are messing up, try semi-protection, i can also vouch for it. Ssriram mt (talk) 22:35, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
Re:K'giri
- Indeed. If you look at the Toll plazas in India cat on Commons, most are from TN. But this is the only Plaza in the Krishnagiri distt. I'm for improving the article. I'm going to nominate it for WP:INCOTM, please join me. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:01, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sounds perfect. I too noticed too many churches out there. It's quite common on TN articles. Churches and temples. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:38, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

AFT5
Hi, regarding hiding comments at AFT5: when comments are hidden they are WP:REVDELETEd so only monitors (admins, rollbackers & reviewers) can see them. Have a look at Wikipedia:Article Feedback/Help/Monitors. Callanecc (talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 12:03, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- It's probably better to have this conversation here so we don't clog up the permissions page. We are currently working on a set of user warnings for vandalism on AFT5, but at the moment the best thing is to use the vandalism warnings and report to WP:AIV (as you would with vandalism in an article). Callanecc (talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 13:03, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- Gone through the links mentioned by you. Better approach for this AFTv5 is being discussed. Expecting a good outcome that will be accepted by everyone. But it all becomes worth only by synergy among various editors. There are chances for some pages left unnoticed without editor' notice and it may become a place for vandals. I feel for the system to become more effective, various WP Project groups must assign several editor groups within themselves to look after feedback monitoring, reviewing and reporting to admins. --BabuOnWiki (talk) 16:22, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- We are doing pretty well at the moment, there are quite a nummber of monitors monitoring (for lack of a better word) the feedback, and I haven't seen much slip through. Remembering that editors without (admin, rollback or reviewer) permissions can mark as abuse and the abuse filter is quite closely monitored. It is, of course, up to each WikiProject to organisise if they wish (and there are from memory at least 4000 editors who can hide (REVDEL) feedback) so I imagine most projects will have a few people who can.
- If you see anything feel free to let me know and I'll take a look (and also feel free to request Reviewer rights if you feel your 'qualified' for them). Callanecc (talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 00:24, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Your request for rollback
Hi Babuonwiki. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Calmer Waters 15:38, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
Note
Thanks for your message. As far I know other editors can edit and enhance the pages started by banned editor. They should of course comply with the wikipedia polices on copyright, neutral views etc. Thanks Shyamsunder (talk) 13:13, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of U.Thaniyarasu
A tag has been placed on U.Thaniyarasu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 2010 Cut & Paste move
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you.
P.S. you can safely ignore the "recently" in the first paragraph. ;)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Bank of India New logo.png)
Thanks for uploading File:Bank of India New logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 18:42, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Krishnagiri.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Krishnagiri.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
Hi Babuonwiki,
This is regarding the article Pala. Karuppiah. According to a reliable citation, Pala has resigned from his assembly seat, but his position is very much visible in the official page. So can we remove or we should wait to remove the Category:Members of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for any further development.
Thanks, Work2win (talk) 17:59, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

unused, low-res, no obvious use

File permission problem with File:Kpms.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Kpms.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:37, 28 April 2023 (UTC)

The article S. R. Jeyadurai has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. jlwoodwa (talk) 21:33, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
