Hello, Beckbucket! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Paul W (talk) 21:02, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

While the page on its author is currently awaiting AFC re-evaluation, the information on his debut novel Hell Followed with Us (draft) sounds promising enough for a separate article (along with follow-up The Spirit Bares Its Teeth (draft) once/if I get to it). See you as I set up the basics in a few days; you may be in trusted hands in case you're reading this several weeks or months from now. --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 10:49, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good! I'll check back next week- I have a ton of info about the books that I cut from the author draft that would work well in a separate article. Beckbucket (talk) 18:51, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Two tips

edit

Hi and welcome! I just wanted to let you know about two minor issues I've noticed in your edits. First, section headings in articles should use sentence case, not title case. Second, when you cite a book as a source, please include the page number(s). Hope that helps! Schazjmd (talk) 20:12, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me know! Correcting those now :) Beckbucket (talk) 20:24, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Moved to Sasha LaPointe (no need for the disambiguator, "author", since we don't have an article on any other Sasha LaPointe). -- asilvering (talk) 12:35, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, I'm really sorry your drafts were declined improperly. They were perfectly acceptable, so I resubmitted and accepted them. A general rule of thumb here is that if an author has multiple books that themselves would be notable under WP:NBOOK, then the author should have an article. Keep it up! And thanks for editing wikipedia. -- asilvering (talk) 12:45, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
