Editing tips

This is a new section in the newsletter to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style, which should help them in editing not only professional wrestling articles, but all articles in general.

Avoid using bolding to emphasize text. See MOS:BOLD for appropriate uses of bold text.
If you do not want your information removed from articles, please use proper grammar and cite your sources.
Please avoid adding rumors to articles. Most rumors cannot be sourced with a reliable source and go against the Biographies of Living Persons policy.
Avoid jargon such as face/babayface, heel, turn, etc. in articles. People unfamiliar with professional wrestling will not understand what these words mean. See WP:JARGON for more information.

There are currently 601 articles in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.

Recent wrestling news

At Survivor Series:
- Edge returned and won the WWE Championship after SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero added him to the match between then-champion Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov.
- John Cena returned after neck surgery, and won the World Heavyweight Championship, for the first time, by defeating Chris Jericho.
On the November 24 episode of Raw, Goldust, Melina and Mr. Kennedy made their television returns to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Steve Bradley died on December 4, 2008. His cause of death has not been determined.
On the December 5 episode of SmackDown, Hurricane Helms made his in-ring return after an absence of over a year due to a neck injury.

November 26, 1987 - Ric Flair defeated Ron Garvin to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
November 26, 1995 - Smoky Mountain Wrestling ceased operation.
November 26, 2000 - Scott Steiner defeated Booker T to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
November 27, 1991 - The Undertaker defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWF Heavyweight Championship.
November 29, 2003 - Larry Lathman, better known as Moondog Spot, died of a heart attack in the ring.
November 30, 1997 - Shane Douglas defeated Bam Bam Bigelow to win the ECW Championship.
December 1, 1973 - Stan "The Man" Stasiak defeated Pedro Morales to win the WWWF Heavyweight Championship.
December 5, 2003 - Jerry Tuite died of a a heart attack aged 36.
December 7, 1996 - Raven defeated The Sandman to win the ECW Heavyweight Championship.
