Orphaned non-free media (Image:Gwen.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Gwen.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:28, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Please see the above link as someone has requested arbitration for a dispute that you have mediated in historically. Feel free to contribute there. Regards, Inertia Tensor (talk) 08:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
New milestone reached
Dear Chaser, I now have over 10,000 edits!! Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 18:55, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Congrats! Just remember, it's quality, not quantity, that is the most important! Thanks, as well, for the many holiday greetings while I was away. Every little bit helps to make Wikipedia's backrooms friendlier.--chaser - t 20:59, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. Generally speaking, everything has been going well. Best, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 21:01, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
AFD discussion/ Copyright Issues of Pakalomattom Ayrookuzhiyil
Hi Chaser, This is regarding the AFD discussion/ Copyright Issues of Pakalomattom Ayrookuzhiyil that has come in recently.
Earlier we had a similar discussion on this and you had given a green signal earlier.
User:Tinucherian/Archive_2007#Copyright_status_of_Pakalomattom_Ayrookuzhiyil
Now that it has come to AFD review now, i request you to kindly give a reasonable and unbiased opinion about it at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Pakalomattom_Ayrookuzhiyil
Your kind comments are highly valuable.
Another List of Supreme Court cases has been nominated for deletion
There is a discussion going on here. I though you might be interested in commenting due to your previous comment here.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 00:54, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note. I commented, though I'm not going to do a straight "keep" to avoid the appearance of canvassing.--chaser - t 09:56, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
This arbitration case has been closed and the final decision is available at the link above. The Arbitration Committee finds that the blocks on User:MatthewHoffman were unjustified. It also states that Vanished user's adminship will be waived at this time. Vanished user may regain his sysop access by application to the Committee, upon demonstration of six months editing in compliance with communal norms and conduct standards. If regained, he will then be placed on parole with regard to both conduct and admin tool use for a further period of six months. Request for feedback
Dear Chaser, as its been awhile, I thought I would ask my mentors on Wikipedia for just some quick feedback. So, if you have a quick second, I was just curious if you had any feedback regarding my most recent approach to AfDs. I participated in two today, one as a "keep" and one as a "delete". Thanks! Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 02:16, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- I will respond to your msg, LGC, I've just been a bit busy lately. Sorry.--chaser - t 11:56, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
??
I got a message that I edited some page, when I never did. What's up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.158.19.134 (talk) 19:06, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- It was probably another person on that IP address. IP addresses periodically change, even for DSL connections. See IP_address#Static_and_dynamic_IP_addresses.--chaser - t 11:27, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
From what I've been able to glean from Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Anoshirawan, User:Rudaki was suspected as being a sock puppet of User:Anoshirawan. However, User:Rudaki's account was blocked for being a sockpuppet of User:NisarKand. Does this mean that Anoshirawan is also a sock puppet of NisarKand? Trying to sift through all this, Kingturtle (talk) 12:09, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Kingturtle. Looking back at the case, I don't see enough evidence linking Anoshirawan to NisarKand's sock farm to give you a definitive response. I linked the suspected sockpuppets page to cite my own conclusion that Rudaki was a disruptive sock or impersonator.--chaser - t 11:27, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Is it possible that User:Anoshirawan is a sockpuppet of User:NisarKand? Kingturtle (talk) 13:54, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- I couldn't tell you. I haven't looked into it.--chaser - t 20:21, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- OK thanks. I'll look into it. Cheers, Kingturtle (talk) 20:22, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Suspicion of Sockpuppetry
- I see you had the same suspicion as I, that User:Carol Sutton could be the same person as User:Bridwater. I also suspect that he/she is the same person as User:Chris19910. Their MOs seem to be the same, reverting edits of users randomly, claiming vandalism, or calling for speedy deletion when not warranted. See here and here. See here and here. Bridwater also seems to have a strange interest in awarding Chris19910 barnstars and Chris doesn't have a problem with Bridwater blanking his page. I've never done a sockpuppet inquiry so I might need some help with this.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 17:36, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Sock puppetry is the policy and Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets is the place to make reports. I haven't looked into it, but if you do file a report, be sure to make it clear what you think constitutes sockpuppet abuse. Cheers.--chaser - t 17:44, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Nice job!
This is such a beautiful way to resolve the dispute! Now let's hope people can leave it be at that. Fléêťflämẽ U-T-C 22:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

WP:SCOTUS
Hey! It's been a while, but I'm very glad to see you're still active. I saw a bit of activity on WT:SCOTUS and as I was responding to some of the posts, I realized that I actually liked doing work there and would be very happy if the project were more active. (I've been doing far too much admin work lately, and it has become tiring.) So... I'm wondering if you'd be interested to helping me kick-start the old SCOTUS machine. Perhaps we can re-do the hideous project page and come up with a standard format for all SCOTUS cases? Let me know if you're interested. Hope everything is going well. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 21:02, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Copy of Deleted Article
Hi there. I'm wondering if you could please provide me with a copy of the deleted article Traxx Radio so that I may work on improving it. Thanks in advance. --Biggles (talk) 19:36, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
