Old user page

Hi I noticed this old user page of yours which was moved there in August 2006. As it is not needed anymore I thought you could delete it. Thanks.--Otterathome (talk) 14:42, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

WP:MYSPACE

Why do you indefblock users per WP:MYSPACE without giving them ANY prior warning? I know some of them were warned, but not all were. My first edit was to userspace (creating my own userpage). Would you have indefblocked me if you has known that? Jonathan321 (talk) 16:07, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Since you seem to have already dug up the example, tell me the username and I'll tell you why.--chaser - t 04:46, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Ah, so these three. Because they're contributing nothing to the encyclopedia and have contributed nothing but filling the servers and the recent changes feed with gibberish. No, I would not have blocked you. Within your first two contributions and 20 minutes, you started contributing to the encyclopedia.--chaser - t 21:21, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Afd of Mucoid plaque

Mucoid plaque is up for AFD... again.

The latest discussion is here. As a previous participant in a AFD discussion for this article, you are encouraged to contribute to ongoing consensus of whether or not this article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion.--ZayZayEM (talk) 02:42, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Userbox

Re: your cool userboxes: This one's a little off-topic, and it probably wouldn't go over well with people, but I've always wanted to make a babel box vn-5: This user is able to contribute at a professional level of vandalism. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 12:20, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

That's great. [1] :D If I get complaints, I'll consider changing it.--chaser (away) - talk 21:43, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
I do like to think that if I ever became a vandal, I'd be very professional about it! =3 Heimstern Läufer (talk) 13:14, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Barack Obama original research claim

I see you're an experienced editor and an administrator, so I will do you the courtesy of not templating you. That being said, this is pretty blatant original research. -- Scjessey (talk) 22:51, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

I've added refs and rewritten parts of it. If you still think it's OR, remove it (instead of tagging that particular article) and make your case on the talk page. Please drop me a note here if you do so. Thanks.--chaser (away) - talk 04:02, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Initial Benchmark Assessment Report, Report to Congress on the Situation in Iraq

If these two article discussed the same things, why don't you merge them together. I agree to merge. 98.119.177.171 (talk) 22:04, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Charm School Gives Back

Is it possible to create the Charm School Gives Back page now that the cast, hosts, and broadcast date have been revealed and to put it on semi-protection instead of creation protection? Please respond Andrew097 (talk) 23:02, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I think it got retitled. See Charm School with Ricki Lake.--Chaser2 (talk) 22:45, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Barnstar

  The Real Life Barnstar
For your great work in possibly saving a life today. The RCMP were very grateful to get that info. Toddst1 (talk) 23:47, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Right back at you, Todd.--chaser - t 23:51, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

I simply fail to see the point.

The vast amount of 'suicide threats' are anything but and the system we use to deal with them involve wasting the time of people who could be using it for better purposes than chasing down drama queens. And if it turns out to have been a legitimate threat, that's their prerogative and none of my business.

Simply put, I consider every second wasted on them a second we could have done something with. HalfShadow 00:13, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

I hope you never know anyone who commits suicide. You and I could not disagree more on this. Toddst1 (talk) 01:42, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
HalfShadow, am I understanding that you do not find it worth your time to attempt to save someone's life? Yes, I can understand that you may not be willing to take a suicide note posted to Wikipedia of all places to be 100% serious, but you cannot tell for certain. If they are considering suicide, even slightly, then that person needs serious help immediately. If it does turn out the comment was entirely facetious, then they get a sound smack across the face from whoever shows up at their front door, and we have one less vandal (or "drama queen") to worry about.
As an RA, I probably do take this a little more seriously than you, I'll admit that, but don't dismiss all of them totally out of hand. If someone's posting that they're going to kill themselves, someone needs to take a look at it, in person, if only to tell them to stop fucking around and respect those who are having problems. That someone won't know to show up unless someone else tells them, and that someone else is us. Hersfold (t/a/c) 06:51, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Chaser, sorry for the rant on your talk page, but I couldn't let that go. Feel free to remove it, of course. Hersfold (t/a/c) 06:53, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't care, but HalfShadow may no longer be interested [2].--chaser - t 16:29, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

MediaWiki talk:Watchlist-details#Commons' POTY

I have reverted your addition of the Commons POTY notice. Please see the above talk page. Thanks. KnightLago (talk) 01:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

WSLK

Question for ya....what does one do about this article in its current version that the owner has said is from listening to the station in his own car? Do I revert? Do I correct? Do I update? What do I do, since I can't claim OR anymore? - NeutralHomerTalk • April 23, 2009 @ 02:26

I'm on my way to bed, so let me take a look at the OTRS ticket (not sure if it's even relevant) and follow-up tomorrow. Right now I'd say revert, labelling it as OR in the edit summary. Then template the editor with {{uw-nor1}}, or whatever level you feel is appropriate at this point. Work your way up the templates and then contact an admin for blocking.--chaser - t 04:28, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
OK...Thanks. I might be on a wikibreak then, but feel free to add, update, delete anything on the page you see fit. Take Care and Have a Good Sleep...NeutralHomerTalk • April 23, 2009 @ 04:33
On second thought, let me try to deal with this directly.--chaser - t 22:55, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Mike Jones (rapper)

Please apply liberal semi-protection to the Mike Jones (rapper) article, us lowly recent changes patrollers obviously cannot keep up with the vandalism to this one. Just take a look at what stayed in the revision history for half a day recently. JBsupreme (talk) 17:30, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

My Talk Page

I showed up, offline officially, to check on something and seen that. I replied as nice as I could with this. I think that explains the OR rule to them. If you want to add more to it, please feel free. - NeutralHomerTalk • April 23, 2009 @ 22:56

CVS protection

I see that you protected the CVS Caremark page due to vandalism. Can you also protect the CVS/pharmacy and Caremark Rx pages for the same reason? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.128.245.144 (talk) 19:12, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Protection does not appear necessary at this time. Neither page has been edited in several days.--chaser - t 00:27, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

I am not getting through to this person, Knowledgeofself777 (talk · contribs) -- perhaps you can try a kinder, softer approach. JBsupreme (talk) 06:27, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
