Orphaned non-free image File:Maine Warden Service insignia.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Maine Warden Service insignia.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:47, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Pantheon Guard.png

A tag has been placed on File:Pantheon Guard.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Washington State Guard, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Guard (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

New Years new page backlog drive

Hello Chetsford, thank you for your efforts reviewing new pages!

Announcing the NPP New Year Backlog Drive!

We have done amazing work so far in December to reduce the New Pages Feed backlog by over 3000 articles! Now is the time to capitalise on our momentum and help eliminate the backlog!

The backlog drive will begin on January 1st and run until January 29th. Prize tiers and other info can be found HERE.

Awards will be given in tiers in two categories:

  • The total number of reviews completed for the month.
  • The minimum weekly total maintained for all four weeks of the backlog drive.

NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.

If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, go here.TonyBallioni (talk) 20:24, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

county courthouses in Washington

Hi, i came across your draft list-article User:Chetsford/county (from randomly clicking on "what links here" at a courthouse article) but see you beaten to mainspace by article now at List of county courthouses in Washington (state). I see you had developed some good content about preservation efforts, and perhaps you collected more photos and so on. Would you be willing to copy over your work to contribute to the mainspace article, or do you mind if I do? cheers, --Doncram (talk) 20:47, 31 December 2017 (UTC)

Hi, Doncram. Please feel free to copy over anything you like! I'd back-burnered working on an improvement to the mainspace article until I could finish collecting photos of the rest of the courthouses so I could do it in one fell swoop, but I probably won't have a chance to finish until next summer so I'd be happy if you would like to move the additional photos and so forth over. Thanks! Chetsford (talk) 21:01, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
