I had to put back the article to the old name and protect it from being moved until the AFD is over. It's not because I don't agree with it, in fact. I think it should be moved when the AFD is over, but it would complicate things at the AFD big time. Removing Red Links
editHowdy, I noticed that you unlinked red links in a wrestling article (TakeOvet). I know we cannot know every single rule or guideline on Wikipedia so I figured I would share one with you as it looks you may not be aware of it: WP:RED. This states "Do not remove red links unless you are certain that Wikipedia should not have an article on that subject". I am of the belief that the linked article(s) are notable enough but just do not have an article yet. It is not okay to remove a link because it is red, it can be detrimental to Wikipedia. If you need more details I suggest you read the WP:RED page. So please keep that in mind before indiscriminately removing red links. Thank you and happy editing. MPJ-US 21:55, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Link Changes
editHowdy, I noticed that you made link change in a wrestling article (multiple TakeOvers) where you replaced a redirect with a piped link . I know we cannot know every single rule or guideline on Wikipedia so I figured I would share one with you as it looks like you may not be aware of it: WP:NOTBROKEN. It states:
"Some editors are tempted, upon finding a link to a redirect page, to bypass the redirect and point the link directly at the target page. While there are a limited number of cases where this is beneficial, there is otherwise no good reason to pipe links solely to avoid redirects. Doing so is generally an unhelpful, time-wasting exercise that can actually be detrimental."
So it is greatly encouraged to use redirects even if that is not the current name of the article. Please try to keep that rule in mind for future editing. Thank you and happy editing. MPJ-US 21:55, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Piped links on templates
editHi ClassicOnAStick,
I don't know if edits like this one are useful. It's a very small template and room is not an issue, so shortening Dishonored 2 to 2 is not necessary. There's also WP:ACCESS, so instead of a word where a reader can click on, it's now one character. --Soetermans. T / C 13:54, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- I've undone several more today. What's the point in shortening Darksiders II to II, when there is no issue of space? Concerning Darkstalkers, the first game is called Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, not The Night Warriors. The second isn't called Revenge, it's called Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge. Making piped links that pick the subtitles is not only unnecessary, but also implies the games have a different name. --Soetermans. T / C 13:07, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
Pipe links
editPlease stop adding unnecessary pipes on redirect wikilinks. Some of those redirects may become articles in the future, which would mean those links you change will go to the wrong target. See the second bullet point at WP:NOPIPE. --The1337gamer (talk) 21:38, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

A note on forcing line breaks
editHi, ClassicOnAStick. Just so you know, it's best to only use <br />
tags semantically. According to the HTML5 specification, "br
elements must be used only for line breaks that are actually part of the content, as in poems or addresses." (See the link for examples.) Forcing line breaks in the titles of video games within infoboxes doesn't really serve any purpose and should be avoided. As a bit of an aside, while the line breaks may look nice on your screen, that may not be the case for readers with screens of differing resolutions. editHello, I'm JayCoop. I noticed that you made a change to an article, NXT TakeOver (series), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Visual Concepts. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have been repeatedly reverted and informed about the Infobox Company documentation on the owner, type and parent fields. Please stop populating them incorrectly. -- ferret (talk) 01:49, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. And several others. Please acknowledge the multiple warnings you have about infobox usage. Your activities appear almost bot like and you do not acknowledge messages from other users about your edits. -- ferret (talk) 13:16, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Chris Taylor's Kings and Castles, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Lordtobi (✉) 19:20, 9 July 2017 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Lordtobi (✉) 19:21, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Names
editSure wouldn't hurt you to cite these regulations when making big edits such as removing nicknames from the lead. It's only thanks to Crash Underride's edit at Paul Bearer that I know not to undo you again. REEEEEbbon Salminen(talk) 11:19, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

editYou may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. I'm recieving complaints from multiple editors about your editing. You continue to take actions, without any edit notes, that you have previously been warned about, including from above: line breaks in infobox titles, numerous warnings about infobox company, unsourced edits, infobox person, NOPIPE and NOTBROKEN redirect changes, and just now again for edit notes. This is your final warning. Heed the messages other editors are sending you and the reasons you are being reverted. Your editing is disruptive if most of it is being reverted by many different editors. -- ferret (talk) 23:37, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
Infobox company
editRead Template:Infobox company again. You're adding owners to the infobox again on articles where it isn't needed. [1]. This was explained to you before. --The1337gamer (talk) 22:42, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

. -- ferret (talk) 12:34, 8 August 2017 (UTC)- I've blocked you to try to get your attention, as you continue to make disruptive edits against guidelines and policies, without replying to any efforts to communicate with you. Your talk page is a near constant stream of warnings and editors attempting to point out issues with your edits that you seem to ignore. I myself have given you multiple warnings and tried to avoid this for as long as possible. Please stop, read your entire talk page, and if you have any questions about any of the warnings you've received, feel free to ask. I am willing to unblock if you reply that you've read the warnings, understand why they were posted, and will be more careful. -- ferret (talk) 12:36, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
Can you add this to the SummerSlam 2017 article?
editOne of the the offical theme songs for SummerSlam is "Empire" by Alejandro Gonzalez and John Fulford. The song is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-tCSnp18qs) and has been featured on SummerSlam promos on WWE programming many times. . -- ferret (talk) 11:52, 18 August 2017 (UTC)- One of the first actions you take on returning is the mass update of infobox titles where you continue to add inappropriate line breaks, which is forcing other editors to clean up after you. You have been repeatedly warned about this. I don't understand why you refuse to respond or take to heart any of the advice that other editors give you, but infoboxes do not require a title to be specified in most cases, and when you are mass adding titles with inappropriate or broken titles, you are being disruptive. -- ferret (talk) 11:54, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
Listing of tag team members in parenthesis
editHow many times does it have to be said? Names in parenthesis for tag teams should be alphabetical, yet you keep changing it. You continuously do this with no edit summaries and have not left any kind of response since I responded at Talk:The Usos on this very matter. Looking at your talk page here, ignoring others seems to be an issue you have. --JDC808 ♫ 21:51, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
- @JDC808: I'll doubt you'll get a response, but feel free to let me know if the behavior continues. -- ferret (talk) 22:15, 25 September 2017 (UTC)

Edits
editCan you point me to a guide or something that justifies what you wrote: "Birth name must include full middle name, middle initial is not acceptable in infobox". Also, do not fix links that are WP:NOTBROKEN. REEEEEbbon Salminen(talk) 18:34, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
- When you use words like "must" and "not acceptable", it sounds like there is some rule you're aware of and are educating other users about. If you have a rule, include a link to it in the edit summary, don't make shit up like this and try to present is as a rule. I don't understand how you can think that just completely removing the parameter "birth_name" because we don't know the middle initial is "improving the website". It may have the effect that people look at that infobox and think Rocky Romero's real name is Rocky Romero. And all that just because we don't know what the R in "John R. Rivera" stands for... REEEEEbbon Salminen(talk) 19:03, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
- please don't edit based on personal opinion and make it look like any sort of rule. Removing non-redundant data does not help improve anything. MPJ-DK 20:07, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

. -- ferret (talk) 20:31, 27 November 2017 (UTC)- In response to this report to me, where you have resumed the behaviors that led to your last couple of blocks. This is in addition to three new sections on your talk page about the formatting and presentation of names, another behavior you have been repeatedly warned about. The fact that your robot-like edits in disruptive ways that have been explained to you continuously comes up, and your behavior does not change despite warnings and blocks, will eventually lead to an indefinite block. -- ferret (talk) 20:32, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
Apology to those affected
editFerret, and other admins hear me out. I know I keep making the same mistake over and over again and I really feel ashamed it continued. I apologize for letting my addiction of nitpicking take over when I contributed. I was really trying to stop this from happening, despite my failure.
I hope I don't let Wikipedia down again.

Editing
editI had to revert your last edit on the Braun Strowman article. All you had to do with edit the intro to say he was a former holder of the Raw Tag Team Championship not remove it outright. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 00:46, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
Falsifying references
editPlease do not falsify cites like you did at Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose (here and here). That source mentions absolutely nothing about any of Deville, Rose, or Absolution. Please only add sources when they verify the information in the article, and only add information when supported by reliable sources. NiciVampireHeart 01:55, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
Redundancies
editPlease respect it when other editors tell you not to perform certain edits, such as:
- Adding year spans to parent field where the parent has never changed throughout the company's entire lifetime.
- Randomly abbreviating legal where they should not be abbreviated.
- Adding <br> and disrespecting WP:VLIST.
I had to revert or clean up after you at least twenty times now, which is far too often. Given your history of disruptive editing methods and several blocks, I think it'd be wise to just bothered for once. Lordtobi (✉) 23:34, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
Regarding your revision on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
editHi, ClassicOnAStick. Regarding your revision on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which has been reverted, the Video game release template is not used in the Infobox video game template unless the game has different release dates for various countries or has only been released in one country. If the game has been released worldwide on the same date, {{vgrelease}} is not used, per the infobox’s template documentation. Interqwark talk contribs 21:37, 12 June 2018 (UTC)

Middle name of Rich Piana
editI see that you added a middle name at the top of the Rich Piana article. You did not provide an edit summary. I have found no middle name in any of the cited reliable sources, including his tombstone and autopsy report. What makes you think he had this middle name? (I suggest responding at Talk:Rich Piana#Name.) —BarrelProof (talk) 19:19, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
- Follow-up comment. As noted on the article's Talk page, I found a new photo of his permanent tombstone. The one we had before was some sort of temporary marker. The new one includes that middle name! That may have been where you got the information. —BarrelProof (talk) 20:56, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 29
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Neighbourhoods of Windsor, Ontario, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Holy Names High School (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
