To answer your question

The history disappeared because in the rename the page was moved to User:There'sNoTime (check the history there). I then re-registered my old account as an alt (and to prevent impersonation) and created the redirect :) -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 15:40, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

Astroneer

Astroneer AFD has closed again. I'd like to see you give this article some attention, since you began the early efforts. Czar and I have listed tons of sources on the talk page and the AFDs that you can use. The previous gameplay section was removed due to lacking any reliable secondary sources. You can start re-adding it based on what is contained in the sources, I noted several seemed to focus on gameplay. There's no need to rush, and you don't have to feel like it has to be done "all at once." By that, I mean it would be better to see you add a few sentences at a time with sources than to add paragraphs at once without. I'll gladly provide any advice you need on the article. -- ferret (talk) 12:22, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

I was just thinking about it this morning. I should be able to start a little bit this afternoon and do some more on Fri., Sat. and Sun. I'll ask you if I need help. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 12:23, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

That AN/I post

Re this: it was a trolling post by a community banned user - no point in feeding him, so per WP:BANREVERT I removed it, and your response as well. Cheers, --bonadea contributions talk 15:54, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

@Bonadea: - I assumed so. It's like those pages that IPs make that have names like 'Admins who like child porn'. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 15:57, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Own talk

Hi Luke. I appreciate that you are working hard to do lots of good editing but this was a mistake. I think you should be very careful not to repeat it in case you cause grave annoyance. The things you need to check up on are WP:OWNTALK, WP:BLANKING and WP:DRC - the first two are guidelines and the last is a useful explanatory supplement. There are exceptions to this, and they are listed at WP:BLANKING, but none of them were present in the material which you restored. I could expand at more length on why your edit was not a great idea but I am sure you will get the picture if you read those links, and imagine yourself in the place on an IP editor on the receiving end of this. I hope this helps; with all good wishes DBaK (talk) 09:36, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Pinging

Regarding your ping [1], pings won't work unless the ping and a new signature are added in the same single edit. --NeilN talk to me 19:29, 22 March 2017 (UTC)

Just in case you didn't get pinged, your behavior is being discussed further in this same thread. You should not be doing any non-article editing until May, you agreed to this. --Floquenbeam (talk) 21:50, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
I have left you a message. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 21:51, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Ah, I saw, we cross-posted, I came here to remove this. --Floquenbeam (talk) 21:52, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

You're giving me a headache

This is making my head hurt now. Pinging @Iridescent: here, so I can close the goddamn ANI thread. On the one hand, I guess at least a peer review could be considered vaguely content-related. On the other hand, why, oh why, are you testing boundaries instead of just finding a tank-related article and improving it? Why is your first edit designed to make other people do work? Why choose the one area that is closest to the boundary between OK/not OK to do next? Why make me spend 4 hours trying to come up with an air-tight precisely worded list that can't be gamed, and make me feel vaguely guilty that it wasn't precisely worded enough? Luke, just... just please stay completely out of WP space, unless you've checked in with (whimper, I don't want to say this) me, and I say it's OK. I really want to not have to make this my full time job, you know? I think someone left a note the last time you were in trouble, talking about collaborating on a tank article or something. Maybe see if they still want to, and do that? --Floquenbeam (talk) 20:34, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

Left a message on FIM's talk. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 20:37, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
OMG Luke! Why you do this? Oh my. @Floquenbeam: I have interacted with User:UNSC Luke 1021 before at COI and may have a slight rapport. I know I'm not really in the best place to do this, but if you think I could be helpful somehow please let me know. Though you may want to consult my, 100% voluntary, mentors. They are extraordinarily helpful to me and I appreciate them very much. At first the idea of other editors specifically reviewing my actions like I was some sort of wiki-felon was unnerving, but I have grown to really appreciate their input and sense of community. Their review and guidance is invaluable to me and I really feel like it is not only helping be become a better editor but in some ways a better person. Even if I don't always immediately agree with them, I still argue(debate?) more than I should, and I'm very challenging (honestly I'm a bit of a pain in the ass). I shared my story on this mostly so Luke can read it, that in and of itself might help some. Endercase (talk) 04:50, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
@Endercase: - I've been having ongoing problems at AN/I, and honestly I'd advise you to not get involved. I wasn't even supposed to be at NPOVN that time that I was (albeit unknowingly). I think that you trying to defend me outside of AN/I will look suspicious and we'll both get in more trouble. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 11:06, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
@UNSC Luke 1021: If users don't stick up for each other who will? To be clear, I'm not a huge fan of your specific actions that have been brought up at AN/I. I think you would likely benefit greatly from listening to @Floquenbeam:, as they appear to be neutral and just trying to help make sure you don't dig yourself into a bigger hole. But, all in all I do think that your interactions (in sum) are more helpful to the encylopedia than not, and as such I would strongly oppose any sort of site wide ban. This current "ban" is more preventative than punitive and it should, with some luck, help re-adjust your focus from patrolling the encyclopedia to building the the encyclopedia. If you share an interest in any of the articles I am currently working on or have worked on please feel free to add reliably cited information, or discuss how to move forward in the article on their talk pages. Also with the permission of @Floquenbeam:, I would not mind having your input in any discussions (even on my talk/user page(s)) that I am involved in, at any point. I value your qualitative and quantitative abilities and thus your opinion. Endercase (talk) 18:06, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
  • I think it would be a very bad idea for Luke and Endercase to be providing feedback on each others' issues. First, because it would obviously violate the restrictions Luke agreed to, stay out of other people's drama. Second, because it should be obvious that two editors having pretty serious problems are not in the best position to give advice to each other. Pinging a bunch of mentors for Luke and Endercase so they can agree/disagree: @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi, MjolnirPants, David Tornheim, and Hijiri88:. (I'm sorry, I'm very unclear if all three of you are Endercase's mentors, I just saw a thread on his talk page and guessed; if I've pinged you and you're not a mentor there is 100% no reason to comment, and I apologize.) --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:36, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
@Floquenbeam: FYI, Luke has never had a menotor appointed / or agreed to one. It was suggested in the oiginal ANI- I think a few of us put ourselves forward- but it was not included in the conditions of the final block, or raised when they returned. Which is why no mentoring (officially) has taken place. Thanks though for the not-100% wasted ping though :) — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 14:42, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
As one of the editors involved, I'd like to reiterate that I advise Endercase not to get involved in my issues, because it might look bad. Also (surprise, surprise) I think mentorship would be worthwhile and I'm willing to get some from FIM. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 14:45, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
I agree mentorship was not required to avoid a block, but surely we're all aware that if the mentorship doesn't work out, Luke is going to do something soon that results in an indef block, right? I mean, right Luke, too? I think he has agreed to your mentorship, based on comments he's made... I don't know, somewhere. If it's useful for him to say that here in a simple declarative English sentence, let's get that out of the way. After e/c, it appears he's way ahead of me. --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:48, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I have been encouraging Endercase to avoid drama of any kind and focus on building articles. He is still apparently having a bit of trouble following that advice, but we're working on it. So yeah: without looking into this in too much detail, I agree that he should stay out of other people's drama. (Full disclosure: I really want to add "including mine", since he has apparently been trawling through my block log and an Arbitration case from two years ago. So I might be biased on whether it's a bad idea for Endercase to be getting involved in other users' drahms.) Hijiri 88 (やや) 14:46, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
  • I guess it depends on the advice. If he is giving good advice, then yes; bad advice, then no. Maybe he has learned some things and can share with other newbies and spare them the trouble he got himself into and vice-versa. I think it is good for newbies to support each other--as long as they are doing it for good reasons and to improve the encyclopedia. That said, I agree with Hijiri88 that Endercase should avoid drama and focus more on improving articles than trying to change WP:PAG. And if he is following users around that's not a good idea--I hope that is not true. I do watch him because I am mentoring him, but if he feels that is oppressive, I can stop. I don't really know the rules about mentoring. When I had a mentor, that person was simply available for advice when asked, so I could take on that role instead. If Endercase feels it is too oppressive, I think it is reasonable for him to go to some mentor board and ask what it is supposed to be about. If he wants a new mentor(s), that's okay with me too. Maybe someone who is not so "involved" would help him more... --David Tornheim (talk) 15:11, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Floquenbeam, you are correct; these two should not be trading advice IMHO. Luke, I've been following your own difficulties and I have to agree with the advice that's flying around here: stay out of all traces of drama. Seriously; this goes for both you and Endercase, and I cannot possibly stress it enough. I've been editing WP for years, have thousands of edits, and I was fortunate enough to "fit right in" as many of my own ideologies align very nicely with WP policies and guidelines. I also have a background in formal debate (and somewhat in formal logic), and a deep love of a good argument. Despite this I do all I can to stay out of drama, because drama sucks for everyone involved, every time. Drama here is the equivalent of a real world fist fight: there's no winners, just sometimes someone will lose a little less than the other guy. And I say that as someone who has a background in that, too. Please, please you guys, take my advice. Just steer clear! At some point, assuming you both manage to avoid a lengthy block, you're going to be dragged into some drama where you will emerge on the "winning" side, and at that point, you will know for yourselves exactly what I'm talking about. It's very likely that you both have experiences very similar to that, already. Well, remember those experiences, or imagine what I've just described, whatever it takes. There are few things I will state unequivocally about the future, but I will say this with complete confidence: If you guys can't steer clear of drama for a good long while, you're both going to end up indeffed. This is not a threat, I'm not an admin, and despite how it may look sometimes, I don't have any admin's ears. But I've seen enough to know that every editor who seeks out drama in highly-visible pages I've met has ended up either spending a good long time editing articles quietly and without drama until they stopped being problematic, or ended up indeffed. There have been no exceptions to this that I can recall. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 02:07, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

Luke, whaddya know  ;) Suggestbot is on your side too :) Idea: use the suggested edits, becasue they are a) specific to article space, and b) something you (somewhere!) have shown an interest in. This will be a useful tool- depending on how often you receive these alerts, you might think about increasing the rate. That way, your experience increases at the same time. Take care, — O Fortuna! OK, that's enough

After all the time I spent on this, I see you're now trying to close RFC's. That's just enough. You are not competent to edit here. Come back in a year or so,when you're older and perhaps wiser. --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:37, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continued lack of competence in many areas, refusal to accept help from dozens of people. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Floquenbeam (talk) 14:38, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
@Floquenbeam: - What?! I messaged the relevant users and the agreed that the close was just! How is it disruptive? UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 14:39, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
It did not conform to the agreement. The final agreement you agreed to after 11 previous agreements were broken. --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:41, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
You messaged the 'relevant users' after closing the RfC, and not to discuss whether you should have been closing it. Whether your close was correct or not is entirely not the point here. Sam Walton (talk) 14:43, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
