editWelcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Hindu nationalism, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please do not add unpublished sources as citations unless they are for supplementing published sources. Edit warring
edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hindu. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Self-published sources
editWith this edit you copied text from a blog.
"Anyone can create a personal web page or publish their own book, and also claim to be an expert in a certain field. For that reason self-published media—whether books, newsletters, personal websites, open wikis, blogs, personal pages on social networking sites, Internet forum postings, or tweets—are largely not acceptable. This includes any website whose content is largely user-generated." (WP:USERGENERATED) Please see WP:VERIFY. WP:RS and WP:CITE. Thank you JimRenge (talk) 08:03, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
Kashmir conflict
editSorry, I clicked the wrong button while reverting your edit to Kashmir conflict. The reason for the revert is that the source doesn't support the statement about reasons for India's refusal to implement the UN resolution. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 17:17, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

References
editHi, when adding references, please make sure you use the |date= and |accessdate= parameters. Date is to ensure that the source is dated and accessdate helps in recovering archives if the original source goes down at some point. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 11:21, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Please update references when necessary
editHi there, in these edits you updated Calendar Girls' release date. You were sharp enough to add a new reference, which is appreciated, but you should have updated the reference in the infobox so that people curious why the date had changed would be pointed to the correct place. I have fixed this for you. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:43, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Baahubali
editDo not add fancrufty tables to articles which do not need any one of them like you did here. It has been removed. Please comply with MOS:TABLES which clearly states that tables "can be useful for a variety of content presentations on Wikipedia, but should be used only when appropriate; sometimes the information in a table may be better presented as prose paragraphs or as an embedded list". —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 08:23, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- User:IndianBio, The table in Baahubali is according the pattern on other Indian films. Every column has been provided with third-party reliable source. Disambiguation link notification for September 6
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Phantom (2015 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hafiz Saeed. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disruptive editing - estimation template
editHi, please stop removing the {{Estimation}} template from articles as you did again here. This template is there for a reason. Additionally, please stop removing the embedded notes, as these too are in the article for a reason: to prevent disruptive editing. If you do this again, you will greatly inspire me to interrupt your editing privileges. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 10:04, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Box Office India Isn't Reliable. STOP Making Changes Based On That
editBox Office India website is a Hindi Movie site... Its not an official or reliable source for Indian movies.. You can't use it as a source.. And can't make changes using it as a source
Its clearly said here
It's unreliable source per
Wikipedia:WikiProject_Film/Indian_cinema_task_force#Guidelines on sources
And that too Baahubali is a Telugu movie.. So don't make any changes on Baahubali page using Box-office India website.. Thank u — Preceding unsigned comment added by Santhoshlee1 (talk • contribs) 12:43, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

ARBIPA notification
editPlease carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:10, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Dear Wikipedian, you recently voted in the ArbCom election. Your username, along with around 155 other usernames of your fellow Wikipedians, was randomly selected from the 2000+ Wikipedians who voted this year, with the help of one of the election-commissioners. If you are willing, could you please participate (at your option either on-wiki via userspace or off-wiki via email) in an exit poll, and answer some questions about how you decided amongst the ArbCom candidates?
If you decide to participate in this exit poll, the statistical results will be published in the Signpost, an online newspaper with over 1000 Wikipedians among the readership. There are about twelve questions, which have alphanumerical answers; it should take you a few minutes to complete the exit poll questionnaire, and will help improve Wikipedia by giving future candidates information about what you think is important. This is only an unofficial survey, and will have no impact on your actual vote during this election, nor in any future election.
All questions are individually optional, and this entire exit poll itself is also entirely optional, though if you choose not to participate, I would appreciate a brief reply indicating why you decided not to take part (see Question Zero). Thanks for being a Wikipedian
The questionnaire
editDear Wikipedian, please fill out these questions -- at your option via usertalk or via email, see Detailed Instructions at the end of the twelve questions -- by putting the appropriate answer in the blanks provided. If you decide not to answer a question (all questions are optional), please put the reason down: "undecided" / "private information" / "prefer not to answer" / "question is not well-posed" / "other: please specify". Although the Signpost cannot guarantee that complex answers can be processed for publication, it will help us improve future exit polls, if you give us comments about why you could not answer specific questions.

Processing of responses will be performed in batches of ten, prior to publication in the Signpost. GamerPro64 will be processing the email-based answers, and will strive to maintain the privacy of your answers (as well as your email address and the associated IP address typically found in the email-headers), though of course as a volunteer effort, we cannot legally guarantee that GamerPro64 will have a system free from computer virii, we cannot legally guarantee that GamerPro64 will resist hypothetical bribes offered by the KGB/NSA/MI6 to reveal your secrets, and we cannot legally guarantee that GamerPro64 will make no mistakes. If you choose to answer on-wiki, your answers will be visible to other Wikipedians. If you choose to answer via email, your answers will be sent unencrypted over the internet, and we will do our best to protect your privacy, but unencrypted email is inherently an improper mechanism for doing so. Sorry! :-) |
We do promise to try hard, not to make any mistakes, in the processing and presentation of your answers.
