Please stop removing facts backed-up by references from Gwent (county). The administrative county of Monmouth and county borough of Newport were legally part of England but considered jointly with Wales for many purposes prior to 1 April 1974. Please stop vandalising Gwent (county). You keep introducing typographical errors and unnecessary full URLs to internal Wiki articles that provide no benefit other than to clutter up the page. Owain (talk) 15:56, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

@Cymrupara: My objections were that, as well as inserting links to internal pages incorrectly, you claimed in your edit summaries to be "correcting an error". You were not "correcting an error" - the words that Owain sought to retain were technically correct, at least in some senses, though the way in which they were referenced could in my view have been improved. Anyway, the point is that this should all be discussed at the article talk page - Talk:Gwent (county). Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:05, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
