Requesting page deletion
Hello Diannaa. How are you. I am requesting you to delete this page File:Thuntari poster.jpg.
If you don't want to delete this page please participate in the discussion here FFD November 29, 2012. Raghusri (talk) Raghusri 18:15, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Raghusri. I don't want to delete the image. I need to follow the rules for administrators, not act outside them, so sorry. Deletion discussions remain open for one week, and then an uninvolved administrator will assess whether or not to delete the file. -- Dianna (talk) 15:14, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
O.K. Diannaa. No prob. Thank you. Raghusri (talk) Raghusri 18:15, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Another option is to tag the files as {{db-g7}} (one author who requests deletion). Then an uninvolved administrator will review the matter and likely delete the files. -- Dianna (talk) 18:20, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for suggesting me. An uninvolved admin has deleted the page. Raghusri (talk) 06:29, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Thanks! — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 14:19, 1 December 2012 (UTC) |
Thanks for the barnstar! What a shock to see you were briefly blocked earlier. So sorry that happened :( -- Ninja Dianna (Talk) 07:04, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
Do you have time to deal with this?
Some IP(s) are writing content for Ronny Carlos da Silva in Spanish. Maybe I should ask SandyGeorgia to help? Best wishes. I am just getting back into editing after convalescence. I decided not to come in at the tail end of the Nov Drive, but I may work during the Jan 2013 Drive. Regards --Greenmaven (talk) 03:58, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Google says it's Portuguese, not Spanish. I can have a look at it but I am on wikibreak until Monday; see you soon. -- Ninja Dianna (Talk) 07:03, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Unprotection request
Hi Dianna, you semi indef'd Cornelius Vanderbilt (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) in November 2010. How would you feel about unprotecting and seeing if it's still needed? Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 11:51, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- My guess is he still has/is a big dick, but let's give it a try and see what happens -- Dianna (talk) 15:19, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, you never know till you try I guess. Might be a candidate for PC if it comes back, depending on how insistent they are this time. Anyway thanks, and I'll keep an eye on the article as well (I assume you're okay with me going to RFPP if it does?). Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 06:13, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Request for the deletion of Orphaned non-free revision
Hello! Diannaa. My humble request is to delete the following non-free revision for the image :
Thank you.
Raghusri (talk) 12:09, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Done! — Dianna (talk) 15:25, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you diannaa for the deletion. But one unknown user uploaded a new version with the existing Summary that was modified by me. That was identified by me as a Vandalism because source of the file where he got was not added to the Summary. And also it is a unnecessary upload by that user. So if you don't think i am hurting again, My humble request is to delete the Orphaned non-free revision for the below file again.
Thank you.

GOCE November drive wrap-up
Guild of Copy Editors November 2012 backlog elimination drive wrap-up
Participation: Thanks to all who participated! Out of 38 people who signed up this drive, 33 copy-edited at least one article. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here. All the barnstars have now been distributed. Progress report: We achieved our primary goal of clearing November and December 2011 from the backlog. For the first time since the drives began, the backlog consists only of articles tagged in the current year. The total backlog at the end of the month was 2690 articles, down from 8323 when we started out over two years ago. We completed all 56 requests outstanding before November 2012 as well as eight of those made in November. Copy Edit of the Month: Voting is now over for the October 2012 competition, and prizes have been issued. The November 2012 contest is closed for submissions and open for voting. The December 2012 contest is now open for submissions. Everyone is welcome to submit entries and to vote. Coodinator election: The six-month term for our fourth tranche of Guild coordinators will expire at the end of December. Nominations are open for the fifth tranche of coordinators, who will serve from 1 January to 30 June 2013. For complete information, please have a look at the election page. – Your drive coordinators: Stfg, Allens, and Torchiest. Editing the Holocaust
The Longerich book is excellent as is the Snyder book, The Bloodlands. They both have Kindle eds. I would encourage you to do some work on this piece. I would be glad to help in any way I can. I have tip toed around substantive edits for a long time now: it is a can of worms full of wiggling personal agendas. One of the reasons it is so long is the inclusion of at least ten subsections under Non Jewish. They don't really belong in this piece, and each has its own WP article, but attempts to remove calls forth accusations of not giving significance to the millions of others who were murdered etc. It is a pity that such an important article has been such an unwieldly mess for a long time already.--Joel Mc (talk) 21:43, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- We have The Bloodlands in our collection (I work at the library), so thanks for the tip and thanks for the offer of help. I will get busy on Wiesenthal (my current project) and get over there soon. -- Dianna (talk) 22:24, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

support and questions
Thank you for living your goals of non-attachment, logic and class, treating editors as real people! I am attached and not logical, supporting the same ;)
repeated in br'erly thanksgiving style, thank you that it still applies, awesome Wikipedian of 24 November 2010 and 12 April 2012, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:51, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, what a fabulous honour. Thank you, Gerda. — Dianna (talk) 22:54, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
What criteria are you using to remove inactive editors from the list? I only removed a couple extremely obvious ones that I found by clicking redlinks. I wanted to know so I could help but be consistent with what you did so far. —Torchiest talkedits 23:31, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- I removed anyone who hasn't edited in a year and a half. I found one blocked as a compromised account, and found two that had been re-named. We can use an external editor at the end of the process to re-alphabetise the list and then remove any duplicates. Thanks for noticing this work and offering to help. -- Dianna (talk) 23:35, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for doing that. I'll help too. I've started at R. --Stfg (talk) 12:03, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- I've done all from M to Z. I can't believe this, but seven of those I deleted registered on 2011-01-18 or -19, made between 40 and 100 edits, and stopped editing within a week of the end of April 2011. An eighth also registered on 2011-01-18, but managed 119 edits and lasted about a month longer. That's 8 out of 22 I deleted. Can't be just a coincidence, surely? Can you remember anything interesting happening around those dates? --Stfg (talk) 14:26, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- P.S. None of the eight are blocked accounts. --Stfg (talk) 14:27, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- Several of the user pages mention that they were students at James Madison University, so it looks like it was a class project or assignment. -- Dianna (talk) 15:23, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- D'oh, how could I have overlooked that! Yes that must be it. --Stfg (talk) 15:34, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ronny Carlos da Silva, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paulo Rodrigues (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

PP request
This wikistalking is ongoing for 5+ months now, and if I can't protect my own talk page then I will have little choice but to stop editing. I don't like the big orange banner that may or may not be a creepy stalker post. So much for IAR huh? We wouldn't want to prevent an anon IP from "colloborating" with me at my talk now would we? GabeMc (talk|contribs) 23:59, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- There's been 14 posts, lifetime, from 9 IPs. The creep-factor seems extremely low to me, tbh. I will watch-list -- Dianna (talk) 00:30, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Right, but the same person has been harassing me for more than 5 months, and not just at my talk. I hear you I guess, I'm just not sure who you are trying to protect by forcing me to endure the pressure everyday I log-in. Also, the creep factor is multiplied by some of the other comments made at other talk pages but directed at me. GabeMc (talk|contribs) 00:49, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Here are the IPs who have ever posted on your talk page, in chronological order:
- 200.102.19.16: 1 post in Oct 2010
- 80.1.102.1: 1 post in June 2010
- 124.191.163.83: 2 posts in December 2010
- 99.251.125.65: 4 posts in July 2012
- 70.89.111.73: 2 posts in July 2012
- 24.176.193.98: 1 post in July 2012
- 64.134.53.184:1 post in August 2012
- 92.51.79.161: 1 post in August 2012
- 200.78.138.53: 1 post in Dec 2012
- So as you can see, there is no evidence of IP harassment on your talk page; in fact there's been only one IP post since the summer. People can watch-list your page and remove anything offensive. To be honest if you make a fuss and get upset you are likely giving them gratification. It's better to ignore it. WP:DNFTT Stay cool. — Dianna (talk) 01:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- (ec) You don't like the big orange banner. So why not create a subpage for IPs to post to? You could then just check it at your leisure. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 01:16, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- You can also shut off the orange bar: Previous revision of User:Diannaa/common.css -- Dianna (talk) 01:21, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

- So, you would rather distress an active editor of 20,000+ edits and 3 years then risk inconveniencing 9 anon IPs, who as you say, have not contributed in an significant way to anything I've ever done? Yeah, why not create a subpage for IPs to post to? Why not allow me to decide who I intereact with based on their willingness to register so as to be held accountable for their posts, as I am. IP socks get away with everything, so why allow them as large a playground as possible? Why is the onus on me to accommodate them, versus putting the onus on them to register an account if they need to talk with me so badly? This all seems like more bizarre red-tape Wikitedium to me. Who is this helping? Never mind, I'm sure eventually, either they will get bored of harassing me or I will get bored of this arbitrary Wikitedium. GabeMc (talk|contribs) 01:42, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Alright, I concede. I've now created a subpage just for IPs. Do I now need to make a new PP request, or can the decline be changed? GabeMc (talk|contribs) 02:27, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- I have protected your main talk page for two weeks. I will watch-list your main pages plus the new sub-page. If the problem persisits and the protection expires, please go to WP:RFPP. Talk pages are not protected permanently/indefinitely, so this will have to do.
Now here it comes ... I am going to give you some unsolicited advice. Have a look at those four people at the top of my talk page. When Billy Smith hacked at Gretzky in the Stanley Cup finals in 1983, did he threaten to quit hockey? No he did not. In fact when the press asked him about it he didn't diss Smith; he just said that it was part of the game. Or how about that little lady beside him? Did she let the bastards get her down? No she did not. You gotta get yourself a sense of perspective here. Life is pretty darn good in this part of the world, in this day and age. If the worst of your troubles is an occasional post by an IP troll you have it very good indeed my friend. So please try to keep calm and don't take it so seriously. This too shall pass -- Dianna (talk) 03:00, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- That's excellent advice, thanks Dianna. I'll do my very best to apply it. BTW, I always wanted to tell you how much I admire those four people you chose to highlight. I think Nemoy would also agree with you here. "One must have faith ... that the universe will unfold as it should." Thanks for your help! GabeMc (talk|contribs) 03:08, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Enemesis
May I ask why you deleted that record? There is material in there which is going to be needed for a Arbcom compliance case. Given the number of people who did contribute I can't see how it satisfies this clause "the only substantial content to the page and to the associated talk page was added by its author." ----Snowded TALK 04:55, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Danjel ANI
I have answered your "want do I want" question at ANI. FYI, the answer is "someone (or ones) to tell him to stop bring up the schools AfD and my record", and maybe loss of Twinkle for continually calling my edits vandalism when they ain't. I attempted to resolve this myself; he deleted all comments I made on his page pbp 02:18, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- You can't dictate other people's behaviour or control it. The only person's behaviour you can control is your own. I understand that you're angry, but posting at ANI is not the way to resolve these kinds of disputes. Posting there often just generates drama; thats why they call it WP:Dramaboard. Admins are not in any special position where they are allowed to tell other people how to act unless there's clear-cut personal attacks a lot more severe than this. So there's no admin action that can be taken in this instance, other than a warning of some kind, which any editor is free to do. My advice to you is similar to NE Ent's: Focus strictly on the content, not on the behaviour of the other editors. When they make remarks about your behaviour, just ignore it, and keep focusing on the content. Sometimes it's hard to do, but that's what I do all the time, and it sure works for me. -- Dianna (talk) 02:33, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- I tried warning him, it didn't work lol. Somebody else needs to warn him. His post @ ANI frankly flabbergasts me: I try to warn him, and he considers it vandalism? A bunch of editors vote "Keep" on an article I created, and that's an example of OWNership by me? pbp 02:45, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Me or any other admin has no special powers. "Someone else needs to warn him" is not actually true; you are setting up expectations for admin behaviour that have no basis in the way Wikipedia actually works. You are expecting admins to behave like parents or babysitters, and that's not part of the admin toolset. You want the behaviour to stop; the behaviour does not stop; this makes you angry because the world is not behaving in the way you expect it to behave. Might i suggest here that you gotta do here is accept that the world is what it is. People do and say stuff all the time that we don't like and we can't change that. The only person's behaviour you can control is your own. You can help improve the wiki by demonstrating correct behaviour at all times no matter what the provocation, that's what I do every day, it's part of my philosophy -- Dianna (talk) 02:52, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

I saw your close of this speedy deletion nomination "based on the information contained on the Provincial Archives website, which allows use of their images for educational purposes" and it confused me. How is this different than an image which has permission for use on Wikipedia, which by my understanding we treat exactly the same as every other piece of non-free content? VernoWhitney (talk) 14:29, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, Verno! I interpreted it to mean that it would be okay to use it for fair use. Please feel free to take the matter to Deletion Review for wider discussion if you wish. Best, -- Dianna (talk) 15:01, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I've done that at Wikipedia:Files for deletion/2012 December 8#File:Raymond Reierson.jpg (I thought that a more appropriate venue for general discussion than DR given the small-scale discussion so far, I could of course be wrong) should you wish to weigh in. Khandoba - Speedy deletion
File:The origanal photo of god Khandoba temple devhara of Jejuri.jpg
Hello Dianna, I did not quite get what the reasons are for deleting the image from the Khandoba article. I would appreciate further elaboration on this matter. Thanks. Jonathansammy (talk) 14:22, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately the image qualifies for speedy deletion because the uploader did not take the picture. It was scanned from another source such as a postcard or a print. If you look around the perimeter of the image you can see a white border that shows the image is a scan and not a digital photograph. The original upload log says: "Author :- Vishal Prakash Dudhane -- Vishal1976 , Tis is the photo of God Khandoba of Jejuri temple main court , I have scaned this photo and spend 75 rupees and i had to work hard for getting this origanal image of god Khando", which demonstrates that the uploader did not take the picture, but has uploaded a scan of a print that he bought. That means we don't have permission of the original photographer. The original photographer is the person who owns the copyright on the image, and if we don't have their permission to display the photo, we are in violation of copyright law. When I investigated further, I discovered that all of this uploader's images are scans of other people's work and will have to be deleted. So sorry. -- Dianna (talk) 14:56, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Request for the closure of FFD
Hi! Diannaa. My humble request is : Please see this : FFD November 29, 2012. I am not worrying about things being missed nor my intention is to reminder you each and every time. Yeah! i am not saying that you are not doing administrative tasks. I know each admin has a subpage like your's "Dashboard". I am just requesting this because no admin has neither shared his/her comment nor closed the discussion. See this : One file is remaining since 14 days, after being nominated : Old discussions FFD November 29, 2012. Thank you for your support. Hope you will give a conclusion to that Conflict in Discussion. Have a nice day. -- Raghusri (talk) 18:36, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Adolf Hitler lead discussion
Hello Diannaa, you have probably no doubt noted the current back-and-forth on the issue of retaining/discarding the statement of the number of casualties due to Hitler's policies. Since you and Kierzek are both the most active editors on the entry, I'm contacting you both to see whether you could have a look at the the current discussion on this topic and perhaps give your opinion, so that a plan may evolve on how to proceed. Many thanks! Malljaja (talk) 19:23, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
- I don't have a strong opinion on this passage, but I will have a look, to help along the consensus-building process. Best, -- Dianna (talk) 19:47, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Diannaa, thanks a lot for your prompt attention and your comments. I think they along with those from Paul and Kierzek solidify the argument for having the statement in question in the lead. I'll await further comments, and unless new evidence emerges that would suggest sustained removal or alteration of the statement, I'll go ahead and restore it. Malljaja (talk) 23:51, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. Thank you so much for helping to maintain this important article. -- Dianna (talk) 23:53, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello Diannaa, not much luck with trying to preserve content at this page (see here). In light of the fruitless recent discussions, I think it may be time to bring the hammer down with this user--any thoughts/suggestions? Malljaja (talk) 18:32, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Malljaja. I see Paul Siebert made a good post at 18:56. He is planning on taking the editor to ANI if the disruption continues. I will review the recent talk page posts and cook up some variant of this . -- Dianna (talk) 19:52, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Diannaa, thanks again for so promptly looking into this—to the point and clear as usual. I keep my eyes peeled for the possibility of an ANI. Best, Malljaja (talk) 21:44, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- I understand that you have only so much time available, (as have we all). Please allow me to repeat what I wrote specifically to you: that I understood your point that we do not need the sources in the lead if the info is in the article. But I asked you if you see how I am arguing that the info is an oversimplification by synthesis and not in the article with the way the disputed sentence is currently worded?
- Nick-D has now agreed with me: "the sentence is essentially correct but a bit simplistic (in that Hitler wasn't the inventor of his views and the Nazi state and German society also played a key role in what took place between 1933 and 1945)..." and "...I'd suggest broadening this paragraph somewhat to acknowledge the wider responsibility for the war and the killings."
- Woogie10whas also agreed with me that the the sentence is problematical and not supported by the source. He has also pointed out that he source is inaccurate: "Rummel’s figures are definitely not mainstream [nor] the definitive answer to the question of the number of Hitler’s victims. Why use him as the only source here on Wikipedia?".
- Finally Paul Siebert, after arguing against my inference of "alone" has now contradicted his own argument by writing. "all WWII deaths except Chinese and Japanese are attributable to the policy of Nazi Germany (i.e. to Hitler's policy)."
- So, final question: are you really in agreement with him, that ALL war dead in Europe are a result of "Hitler's policies"?--Mystichumwipe (talk) 06:21, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

2nd attempt at publishing an article
Hello Diannaa,
I just read that I'm supposed to notify you before attempting to publish my 2nd draft of a recently deleted article (Abby_Martin)
Jimfbleak very helpfully told me what needs to be changed; and hopefully I've done enough to satisfy Wiki's rules.
I intend to just go ahead and move it into the main space. I hope that's ok?

- My opinion is that the subject of the article is not notable enough for a Wikipedia article at this time and I have nominated it for deletion on that basis. The article you have just put up is not that different from the one that was deleted less than 24 hours ago. Perseverance is not what gets people into the encyclopedia; its notability. - Dianna (talk) 03:37, 13 December 2012 (UTC) -- Dianna (talk) 03:37, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
I changed perhaps every citation, deleted: two headed sections, much of the opening description, an alias with a dubious citation, and a trivia refrence. May I draw your attention to these seemingly accepted (and scant) Wiki pages for fellow & former 'Russia Today' television presenters?:

Squid
There's possibly a glitch affecting the appearance of certain images, e.g. File:Alicanto, Inc. Logo.pdf, and although I've manually processed the files correctly in Illustrator, the thumbnails nevertheless appear badly compressed when uploaded. I'm unfamiliar with the Squid backend and essentially waiting for the developers to investigate and resolve the anomaly, but in the meanwhile I'd appreciate it if someone were to delete those Alicanto uploads as superfluous. A GA Standard for The Holocaust
Thanks for giving this a try. I do understand your decision. It is a weak point in WP that competing agendas can prevent the reasonable development of an article even when one of those agendas is to improve the encyclopedic qualities of an article. I did not know that there was a DRN discussion (I have never done that before) or I might have added something although it is hard for me to understand that a 1977 personal opinion by Simon Wiesenthal--an important historical figure, but not a historian--should be accepted as an authority on the issue at hand when compared to the eminent historians referred to, thus preventing any movement ahead.Joel Mc (talk) 17:25, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Bot Proposal
Hello Diannaa! We've been in touch before. I wanted to get the opinion of another editor on something and saw you were online; what do you think about the idea of a bot to automatically update Template:Vandalism information? Updating it manually is tedious and the amount changes quickly. A bot would complement the situation perfectly IMO. I would just need to see where Huggle gets the revert count from, and if there is an API for it. What do you think of this idea? Vacationnine 04:37, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

Help at Danny Green please
Hi Dianna. I've been trying to rewrite the Danny Green article to reduce the vast amount of unsourced and POV information that both exists in the article, and is currently being added. My aim with the article is to reduce it to the basic facts (hopefully non-controversial) so that knowledgeable local editors can find sources. Currently, I'm being thwarted by an IP who is undoing my edits as I go. Could you please have a look at the article and see if there is anything you can do to clear the path for me to improve it over the next day or two? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Your protection of 2012 delhi rape case
Hello,
I understand the BLP concerns when you semi-protected 2012 Delhi gang rape case article. But please also note that this article was far from complete and was getting massive contributions from IP addresses, mainly because of the coverage the issue has got in India.
Can I please request you to remove that protection from the page, not due to BLP concerns, but to improve the article? Almost every single edit we got there was way constructive, and we were getting very regular contributions until the protection. So can the protection be please reverted until such further time the article becomes stable and comprehensive?
(Please use a talk back)
TheOriginalSoni (talk) 01:49, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi TheOriginalSoni. In that case, I will change it to pending-changes protection. IPs and new users will be able to add content, but it will have to be reviewed by other editors. -- Dianna (talk) 01:55, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- That will be a lot better than the Semi. But I am not exactly sure how it is displayed to the IPs who are editing it. I am slightly concerned if every potential contributor would understand how exactly the pending changes would work, and some might just be confused to see their edits not coming up.
- I personally would want to overstep the BLP concerns and let the article take shape on its own. That way, we will get a way better article than one on Page protection. With the kind of coverage its getting, I think it is impossible to vandalise the article. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 02:04, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- New editors and logged-out editors get a message at the top of the screen: Note: Edits to this page are subject to review (help). (show details) The "show details" link goes to the pending changes log. It's not vandalism that is the concern; it's violations of the BLP policy, which is much more serious. Thank you for your concern in helping develop this article and the encyclopedia. -- Dianna (talk) 02:11, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Alright. I checked how the editing would appear to IPs, and it looked fine. The only thing I did not understand was how to accept or rejectt the changes. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 02:22, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- You have to have the "reviewer" right to accept or reject pending changes. I see you have already asked for this right; please be patient and someone that specialises in this area will make a decision -- Dianna (talk) 02:31, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Though it's worth noting that rollback has the exact same effect as rejecting changes (ignoring a glitch where sometimes your revert doesn't get auto-accepted). Really, P.C. just takes some of the vandalism-fighting burden off of the content contributors. Not that any of the relevant policies or information pages make that (or anything else) remotely clear. — Francophonie&Androphilie(Je vous invite à me parler) 03:37, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

Incorrect information
On TV3 (Malaysia) there are some incorrect information.
For example the "normally tuned to 3" is very vague. I have TV3 on channel 4 because I use auto scan. But it is always channel 32 if you are in Tioman, 12 if you are in Kuala Lumpur. And in my office, I have TV3 tuned to channel 10.
As well as 24 hour broadcast, it's actually startet in 1 January 2011 at 02:00. And it has NEVER been 24-hour in the 90's. In 1996 TV3 broadcast from 9:00 to 24:00.--110.49.240.242 (talk) 04:11, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

Reply: actually there is no sources for that either. But I tried both but I don't see any sources. No sources for both my claim and their claim. Actually we can remove this, because there is no need to list pastime schedule from 80 or 90. What about the channel? - If there is no sources, just let it like that. Also for the terrestrial channels, no need to list all channel for each area in Malaysia like you did before. — иz нίpнόp ʜᴇʟᴘ! 11:00, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

Marburg72
184.21.53.242 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), at least I am 99% sure it is Marburg, they are editing warring to revert to on of his 166 range socks and it geolocates to near his physical address in the Mandeville/Covington La area. Heiro 21:36, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- I have blocked for 48 hrs as a duck sock. DougWeller has already reinstituted the protection on this article for another month. Please let me know if he pops up on any of his other favourite targets. Best wishes, -- Dianna (talk) 21:43, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick response. I left you and Doug both a message, as wasn't sure who was online and it seemed like Marburg was sitting there waiting to revert me over and over, lol. Guess the world not ending yesterday or the aliens coming back really upset him. :-) Happy Holidays, Heiro 21:46, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Here's my apocalypse-not story: I was at the bank on Thursday, and boy was it busy. So I said to the teller, "Ah, everyone's in here to do some last minute banking before the end of the world!" and she says, in all seriousness, "Yes—at four o'clock tomorrow!" So I says, "In what time zone? It's already tomorrow in Australia." I think she was a true believer until that moment!! -- Dianna (talk) 21:53, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- HAhaahaha, love it, lol. I have a few true believer friends on FB who haven't commented since nothing happened yesterday. Or mebbe they got "raptured", lol. Anyway, lots of wakiness out there. Ancient alien nonsense. Check out this for a good laugh, lol Only thing he hasn't included is the Walam Olum. ;-) Heiro 22:03, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

FYI, you've been mentioned here.[2] Nothing you need to respond to, though. Just thought I'd let you know. A Quest For Knowledge (talk) 02:26, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

Ktr101 RfA and your involvement in CCI
Hi Dianna, Ktr101 has a current RfA. One of the issues in this RfA is the open CCI. I continued, and commented on my review. I see you reviewed a few items and have a couple green checks. I glanced at a couple, to see if I could summarize the conclusions, but I wasn't quite sure what to say. If you have a few minutes to comment, it might be useful. --SPhilbrick(Talk) 13:36, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, Sphilbrick. I will get some more spot checks done today, and then will post a wee report on my findings at the RFA. -- Dianna (talk) 14:57, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks Diannaa, I think that will be helpful. --SPhilbrick(Talk) 18:13, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Unblock request: Azra Zahid Islam
Diannaa, could you comment on the unblock request at User talk:Azra Zahid Islam? I can't see any edits from this user, deleted or otherwise, and no entries in the edit filter. I suspect that means there was oversight involved? Could you make a few notes from memory on what triggered the block? Thanks! Kuru (talk) 14:26, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, Kuru. I have poked around and discovered that I deleted his userpage as an attack page or unsourced BLP. The edits were oversighted by Salvio giuliano about an hour and a half later so I can't see them any more either. Special:Undelete/User:Azra Zahid Islam. There were eleven edits. Sorry I have to admit that I don't recollect what was on this page so you will have to contact Salvio or another oversighter for further information. -- Dianna (talk) 14:43, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- That's exactly what I was looking for; thank you for the fast response - I'll ping Salvio. :) Kuru (talk) 14:47, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Re: Copyright question
I know that files taken by the government, and the Air Force by extension, are in the public domain. Text, by extension, I would imagine follows that course as well. I see that the article is part of Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from the Air Force Historical Research Agency, which is in the public domain. The question is whether or not afhra.ah.mil's PD status extends to the whole site. I would lean yes towards that, but can't say for 100% certainty. Wizardman 18:27, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Replied on your Talk. -- Dianna (talk) 18:33, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- The AF disclaimer page notes: "Information presented on AF.mil is considered public information and may be distributed or copied. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is requested." It sounds to me like it's PD, though they don't use that phrase verbatim. Wizardman 18:35, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. I will take the Air Force website as being PD, and will change the attribution on the affected articles. Thanks so much, Wizardman. -- Dianna (talk) 18:45, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

edit dispute
I Just wanted to tell you your intervention on the My Happy Ending article was uneeded we were in process of coming to a resolution. Also even though I can't find it right now, I'm pretty sure Wikipedia says Admins are NOT supposed to take sides during an edit war until it gets out of hand.--Greaymarshess (talk) 23:01, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
Main Userpage
Hi Diannaa - I've been recently working on cleaning up & updating my userpage, and I was wondering if you could tell me how you were able to change the nameplate at the top of your userpages to teal. Cheers, Freebirdthemonk (talk) 09:42, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Freebirdthemonk! It's this bit:
{{DISPLAYTITLE:User talk:{{teal|Diannaa}}}}
. You can also add a special font or other style elements:{{DISPLAYTITLE:User:<span style="text-shadow:#294 0.1em 0.1em 0.3em; font-family: 'Tempus Sans ITC'; color:maroon">Ninja Diannaa</span>}}
(view the result at User:Ninja Diannaa). Have fun, -- Dianna (talk) 15:33, 27 December 2012 (UTC)- Thanks Diannaa! Looks great! Cheers, Freebirdthemonk (talk) 22:49, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Hollisz, Part 2
Looks like there is officially some crossover between the Hollisz account and 98.204.145.138, an IP previously used by User:Hollisz and User:Zimmermanh1997 (which we suspect is the same person). What should I do? - Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:11, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- Please continue to monitor and revert for now. Surely if he sees none of his changes are being retained he will quit at some point? I have laid a uw-unsourced2 template on the IP talk page. -- Dianna (talk) 15:22, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- Drmies was a lot bolder than me; he has just blocked the IP for one month. See you later -- Dianna (talk) 15:29, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- Excellent, I will continue to monitor things. I figure he will come back around with another IP or named account. I will let you all know if he does. Thanks for your help. :) Take Care...Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:56, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Holocaust
On Template:The Holocaust users Tulipsword & Antidiskriminator have been reverting their edits back to the article against any kind of consensus. As far as I can understand there has been established no consensus in support of their edits, yet they insist that neither Peacemaker67 nor I (I reverted their latest inclusion) can see it. If there is such a consensus I'd accept it and never again intervene in that matter, but could you as an involved but somewhat more detached from the debates admin point it out to me?--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 23:54, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- The discussions on the template talk page and the article talk page are the only discussions on this topic that I am aware of. As an administrator, I am involved and unable to use the tools on this edit war. As an editor, I decided to walk away from both the template and the article for the time being, as they have both become battlegrounds and my talents lie elsewhere. -- Dianna (talk) 00:07, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Obviously, you can't and shouldn't use admin tools given the low-level issues, but would you say that there is a consensus for that inclusion? Personally, I can't see it but maybe I didn't notice something that Tulipsword did.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 01:12, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- My opinion was that there was no consensus for the change. It's also my opinion that the vast majority of historians do not include Serbian nationals killed by the Ustaše as victims of the Holocaust, a term which is normally reserved for people, particularly Jews, killed directly by the regime of Nazi Germany. Tulipsword has not edited since December 16. - Dianna (talk) 01:17, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
