Nongoloza's Children

edit

Thank you for your first article and congratulations!

I have been reviewing the article and making some edits, which are summarized in the revision history. It would be good to get the two sources that you have listed added as inline citations. Can you help me identify which sources provided the information that is in the overview section?

And, the article is currently an orphan. To increase the rate at which the article is read, do you know of other articles that could be linked to this article?

Thanks so much!–CaroleHenson (talk) 21:32, 3 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ok, sounds good. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.–CaroleHenson (talk) 15:59, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Please help me. How can I remove the orphan mark from the article? DrPoglum (talk) 13:34, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
By adding links to the article from other articles. Unless Nongoloza's Children is mentioned in other articles, see this. If links cannot be added there, then content could be added (with citations) to link to the article.–CaroleHenson (talk) 15:24, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! I added links, but the orphan mark continues to hang DrPoglum (talk) 15:46, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Psychomotorics

edit

The article Psychomotorics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

None of the cited sources mentions the word "Psychomotorics", nor can I find any evidence of its use in English.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Psychomotorics

edit

The article Psychomotorics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Cites references which are not included, such as "Seewald (1987)", suggesting that the text is copied from elsewhere. Some parts are certainly copied: "History" largely from http://munin.uit.no/bitstream/handle/10037/10632/article.pdf?sequence=3&isAllowed=y

No footnotes suggesting how the "Sources" given support the text.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Nomination of Psychomotorics for deletion

edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Psychomotorics is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Psychomotorics until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. PamD 16:14, 20 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • This is a scientific term. There are many sources on this topic, and the users have already contributed to the improvements. The article needs to be improved, not deleted. - DrPoglum (talk) 10:20, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Olga Prokopova (creative)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Olga Prokopova (creative), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of God's gangsters

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on God's gangsters, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

• Hello. Why my article about the book was seen as advertising? There are no links to buy or sell books? This article is my contribution to Wikipedia. I don`t want that the time I spent to improve Wikipedia passed in vain. I like books that describe criminal traditions different countries I'm sure the book which I posted is worth keeping in Wikipedia, or at least to put the deletion up for discussion. - DrPoglum (talk) 11:16, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Number (book)

edit

Hello, DrPoglum. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, The Number (book), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi. I'd like to help improve the HEMA Alliance page. What, in particular, do you find reads like promotional material on it? The Jade Knight (talk) 20:30, 28 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

The article The Small Matter of a Horse: The Life of 'Nongoloza' Mathebula has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While the author of the book is notable, extant sources on this particular book seem only to confirm its existence, rather than provide the level of notability required.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

November 2018

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. An edit summary is always useful and is especially important when you tag pages for speedy deletion. It's a good habit to get into on a collaborative project like Wikipedia. Liz Read! • @Yamla: this is not my account. A few days ago I was in Israel and made edits from Israel. Account 42Marco P. could not be in Israel at this time, and as far as I can see, he also made corrections at this time. You can see the IP history. I did not know that 42Marco P. was making any corrections, otherwise I would not have insisted on checking. But I think that I know who he is.-DrPoglum (talk) 18:43, 25 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
This is not what the technical evidence shows (I believe, though I don't personally have access to the technical evidence). The relationship is closer than this. --Yamla (talk) 18:44, 25 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
