Proposed deletion of Ijigban community

The article Ijigban community has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article lacks reliable sources and is a work of original research; one of the three citations is to the original editor's own unpublished term paper. (The second citation is to another undergraduate project; the third is to a single page of a single book, which the article itself describes as "devoid of empirical historical fact".)

Critically, this article is about the disputed origins (the article calls them "highly problematic") and identity formation of a regional ethnic group. If ever there is an argument for WP:TNT, this is it: misinformation or partisan information of this type can have extremely dangerous real-world effects. Stubbing is not an option, as it would preserve the page history. Accordingly, I propose deletion without prejudice.

I am not taking a position on the subject's notability or the possibility of the existence of reliable sources; assertion of the existence of either of these does not in any way address the concerns above.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
