Speedy deletion nomination of Enrico Cambiaso
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Enrico Cambiaso requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Johnj1995 (talk) 17:12, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

I didn't connect Wikipedia anymore, until I received a few minutes ago an email stating that my account has been blocked.
Decline reason:
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
By following the link shared (Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks), I can confirm that "the block is no longer necessary because - I - understand what you are blocked for, - I - will not do it again, and - I - will make productive contributions instead". I also understand why you blocked my account and what the mentioned meat puppetry page refers to, and I now understand that such behavior is not advised. Hence, I recognize my mistake and after this I will not repeat it and will contribute in a bening way, also considering the descriptive links shared and what is not accepted by the platform.
Decline reason:
It's unclear to me if you understand written English. You certainly aren't able to write a coherent unblock request that addresses the concerns raised. Yamla (talk) 18:43, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
I admit that I used multiple accounts (this one, plus Maurizio_Aiello one) to circumvent Wikipedia policies. I understand this is not allowed.
Decline reason:
I think you forgot User:Fimodi5192. The whole lot of these accounts seem to make potentially useful edits to computer security, but everything that they do is centered around promotion of Enrico Cambiaso and Maurizio Aiello. This is in violation of our guidelines on self-promotion and citation spam. Whether it's meat puppetry or sock puppetry doesn't matter all that much. None of the accounts will be unblocked to continue this promotional editing. If you get unblocked, you could potentially continue editing computer security topics, but you'd have to stop writing about these specific researchers. Any further unblock requests would have to address these issues, not just the potential sock puppetry. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 18:28, 14 April 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
Thank you NinjaRobotPirate. I confirm that also Fimodi5192 account was adopted on my side. Also, I contributed on such topics as they are the scope of my research. My intention was not to self-promote myself on general purposes pages on the denial of service topic, but, instead, to constructively extend pages with the results of our scientific research. Update: after 2 months, no answers were provided to this unblock request.
Decline reason:
You were asked to agree to stop editing about yourself and Maurizio Aiello. You have not done this here. You also don't really touch on the citation spam issue. 331dot (talk) 18:12, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

Thank you 331dot. I agree to stop editing about myself and Maurizio Aiello. I will also stop to submit citation spam links. I've made different constructive edits on the cyber-security topic, referring to the Denial of service and Slow DoS Attack pages in particular, which are related to the topics I research for work.

Thank you 331dot. You asked me to "be able to respond the questions below". The question below asks for "what constructive edits I've made". As mentioned, "I've made different constructive edits on the cyber-security topic, referring to the Denial of service and Slow DoS Attack pages in particular, which are related to the topics I research for work.". So, please let me know if something is not clear of if you consider my changes not constructive. In that case, why aren't they removed? I'm certain the concepts I've reported are good.
Decline reason:
Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:43, 25 December 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
I kindly ask to be unblocked, as reported in my message above. The block is not needed, as I previously contributed to improve some topics, like Denial of Service and Slow DoS Attack; also, I understand why I've been blocked (for personal pages creation) and I certify I will not make damages anymore, working just on constructive submissions.
Accept reason:
Unblocking subject to the conditions: Firstly, you are subject to a one-account restriction. You must edit only from this account, and not edit from any other account or intentionally edit while logged out. If you accidentally edit while logged out, you may correct that by quickly attributing that edit to this account. Secondly, you may not edit about, nor cite references or link to material written by, Enrico Cambiaso or Maurizio Aiello. You may suggest the use of such a reference on a talk page so long as such suggestions are not done in an excessive or disruptive manner, but must then leave the decision of whether and how to use such a reference up to editors without a conflict of interest. Please describe what constructive edits you'd make. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deepfriedokra (talk • contribs) Answer: Added to the unblock request.
Concern regarding Draft:Slow DoS Attack
editHello, Enrico.cambiaso. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Slow DoS Attack, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.
If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 18:01, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
The article Maurizio Aiello has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Insufficient third-party sources to support WP:BIO
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 21:09, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
