Speedy deletion nomination of Voix de l'océan Indien

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Voix de l'océan Indien requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Lady Lova

edit

Hello Glordimes,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Lady Lova for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Dievil Genuis

edit

The article Dievil Genuis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet either WP:GNG or WP:MUSICBIO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Cascade de Soulou. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 18:02, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Glordimes,
If you disagree with an article you created being moved to Draft space, please just move it back, do not cut and paste content into a new version of the article in main space. This divides the article's edit history into two different pages. Typically, editors move articles into Draft space that they think are worthwhile but are liable to be tagged for deletion so please do not feel offended by this action. You have enough editing experience that you should be able to move the Draft back to main space or you can contact a page mover or an admin like myself if you object to the draftification and you would like it to be reverted. What we are trying to avoid though is two articles on the same subject, one in main space and one in Draft space. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 18:06, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Hey man im josh, I just discovered that and was coming here to post a warning notice only to see that I already had yesterday!
Glordimes, you have to stop cutting and pasting articles from draft space to main space or you could be facing a block. The solution is simple, either work on the Draft version or move the Draft version back over to main space. But don't cut and paste content for all over the reasons that were mentioned here. Please do not ignore these warnings. I'm sure you want to continue on in your status as a good contributor so please abide by the rules. Liz Read! Talk! 03:01, 13 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry

edit
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Glordimes. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Proposed deletion of Chimique

edit

The article Chimique has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a non notable drug, note that "Chimique" in French is "Chemical" which obviously could refer to anything. As for the tobacco drug, scant sources account for it's existence.
