Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of Buddhists has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of Buddhists was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.stevejobsfollowers.tk) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.   Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Golla (caste), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:21, 19 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

A book about Palnati yuddam written by srinatha kavi in 13th century and translated by GH roghair a scholarly evidence published by cambridge university, oxford university, stanford and hardvard also , Brahma Nayudu was decribed as a Velama the war took place in 1176 year. This happened during 12th century, implying that Velama as a caste existed then. we have to change the biased article on velama caste page there are a lot of scholarly evidences on this caste moreover the velama word first appeared in 14th century and not 17th century. wikipedia is biased depending one or two books as a sources is not viable option. I suggest consider my requests to edit velama page with valid scholarly evidences. Gunadatt (talk) 07:17, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Velama. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Hey am i not eligible to edit velama page now ? Gunadatt (talk) 18:51, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
You are not supposed to reinsert the same content that has been objected to, without achieving WP:CONSENSUS.
But, more generally, you seem to be vested in the topic. You are better off going and editing other topics and gaining enough experience with Wikipedia before attempting this again. Wikipedia has no deadline. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:54, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
can i continue contributing to velama article with other topics? Gunadatt (talk) 18:55, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

The other editor has said that it is a Vanity publisher. I certainly don't see them as a scholarly publisher, and scholarly sources are needed for historical matters, as per WP:HISTRS.
My advice is still to stay off this topic until you become more experienced with Wikipedia. Caste pages need a lot more care and understanding than you have at this time. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 19:13, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Please tell me what does scholarly publisher mean give me some examples. Gunadatt (talk) 19:34, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

ARBIPA sanctions alert

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
