Notability of Golden Neo Life Diamite

edit

A tag has been placed on Golden Neo Life Diamite requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 72.93.78.209 (talk) 13:06, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Che jesus.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Ricky81682 (talk) 03:28, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Daniel Priest (Convict), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Port Arthur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hope youre enjoying wikipedia - it is very important when creating new stubs to have a category - if you are not sure - check an adjacent locaclity to see what it has - categories are quite important for context - cheers - SatuSuro 09:11, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Also on talk pages - dont forget to WP:SIGN - also when you have changes with your user page by a different user name like is happening on yours at the moment - you need to assert that you are being helped and that it isnt you - as WP:SOCK could come to mind to the casual reader of your user space, not that I would suspect you of that, but.... cheers SatuSuro 08:53, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Help needed reply

edit
Re: User_talk:Wiki_ian#Help_Needed.21

Hi Bible John,
I apologise for late response as my presence on Wikipedia is somewhat sporadic as of late. In regards to The Tramway, you could be asking the wrong person this as I had to get help in making my templates. I learned simply by copying the code from other templates and making changes when needed. I will however guide you as best as I can. Take a look at:

  1. Wikipedia:Route_diagram_template, Template:Railway_line_legend and Wikipedia:Route diagram template/Catalog of pictograms. Most of information you will need can be gathered from these pages. If icons are missing or you need help, the talk pages on these articles are the ones to hit up for information.
  2. Take a look at my sandbox – This is a template for a possible future Northern Suburbs Railway Article. Take note that the template Line is blue not red (Wikipedia templates guidelines states Tram lines are blue).Basically if you want to avoid scrutiny from other editors do your templates by the book. Also create templates in your Sandbox and move it over to the page when complete. Sandboxes are a great place to experiment.
  3. Within in many Template boxes on Wikipedia you will see V.T.E. (view/talk/edit). This is an easy way to look at those templates for inspiration. Also consider reading past conversations I've had with editors to see what you can learn.
  4. As well as creating the track info template for the Derwent Valley Line I also created the templates for South Line, Western Line, Bell Bay Line, Melba Line, Strahan–Zeehan Railway and the West Coast Wilderness Railway. Take note that the Strahan-Zeehan line color is pink not red - light colors informs the reader that the track is under construction/proposed/closed.
  5. Template boxes can look different on Firefox compared to Internet Explorer - something you need to be aware of when editing.
  6. I had to enlist help to create the expandable sub-sections – I have no knowledge on how to do this and now just copy and paste the code.

If you have any other queries or want me to edit part of your template feel free to ask and if I can’t answer/help I can at least point you in the right direction. Also please remember to sign your posts after editing on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) in a row. Otherwise it’s a bit more of task finding out who wrote on your/the talkpage.

I hope this information has been of some use to you.
Kind regards,

Wiki ian 08:33, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Some Help Given

edit
I started the infobox but without detailed information the route map is out of my hands.
Wiki ian 08:56, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
I completed a basic route map from info found on the article, which can be found here. I have no idea what Perrins Saddle is, so you'll have to go through the icons yourself. Hope you like it.
Wiki ian 12:33, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Glad to help :) But remember, Perrins Saddle needs a dedicated icon in the Template (i.e. station/bridge/point of interest). If you are not yet confident on editing templates let me know what Perrins Saddle is and I'll find a suitable icon for it. Also, to make the article infobox more complete - do you know how many stopping points/stations were on the Tramway? And I Wikified your references on the article, however we need to attatch the newspaper article names. In the mean time, I've labelled The Mercury article reference names as "UNKNOWN" - This will need to be rectified sooner rather than later. And as I said before, please remember to sign after your posts on talk pages by typing (~~~~). This is done by typing the key on your keyboard to the left of "1" and above "tab" 4 times in a row, while holding down the shift key (when using a US 101 keyboard)
Kind regards, Wiki ian 08:49, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for creating Annie Vallotton, Happinessbird!

Wikipedia editor Blythwood just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Thanks for this. I've fitted in a 'References' heading and some categories at the bottom of the article to help people find the article. The other thing I've done is link to her from the Good News Bible article so that people know there's an article on her.
One thing missing was titles for the references. It's best to add these while writing the article, but to save time I've used Refill to get some in place.

Proposed deletion of Louis Goegebeur

edit

Hello, Happinessbird. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Louis Goegebeur, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Proposed deletion of Caroline Slate Quarry

edit

The article Caroline Slate Quarry has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Can't find enough in-depth coverage to show it passes WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
