Welcome to Wikipedia from the Opera Project
editHello Henkle, welcome to Wikipedia!
I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!
If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

- Add yourself to the New user log and a regional notice board
- Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.
- Use the Show preview button
- Provide an Edit summary
- Add the correct image copyright tag to any images you upload

- Create a User page
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing! -- Kleinzach 09:05, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

I don't know where to add a general question, so I'll try here first. I don't know whether anybody will ever see this, but...
Google searching for the New Age musician Aeoliah led me to - https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeoliah . 1) Why is there no English version of this page? and 2) How do I edit a non-English page? Attempting to do so, displays a popup I can't read. The artist's website has moved from - http://www.aeoliah.com/ to http://musicforhealthyliving.com/ . If anybody ever sees this, please correct this broken link. I can't. Thank you. Doug Henkle - mailto:henkle@pobox.com
External links in Grace Bumbry article
editI was just following the usual practice at Wikipedia by placing the "External links" section at the end of the Grace Bumbry article. As Wikipedia:External links says: "If an article has external links, the standard format is to place them in a bulleted list under a primary heading at the end of the article." If there is a different convention for opera singer articles, I have no problems with the "External links" section being placed somewhere else in the article. - Yes, it is the usual practice to put "External links" last, and one followed by the Opera Project as well. See our Article styles and formats page. Voceditenore (talk) 15:03, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
August 10, 2016: Caden : Per your 31 July 2016 Notification, I added 8 book references for Sylvia Hutton and still her page says, "Please help by adding reliable sources." Why? How many more sources do I have to add from my book collection before that note goes away? -- http://www.folklib.net/index/bibliog/library_a.shtml - Please reply to mailto:henkle@pobox.com - Doug Henkle PS: Why do I bother asking questions on this page (see above, Re: Aeoliah). Nobody ever answers them.

Help! I don't know how to update graphics.
editBoth of the graphics in the right side bar of the Evernote page, under "Evernote" and under "Evernote Corporation" need to be changed. As explained and shown on the underconsideration.com page above, the logo has been redesigned from a grey or black elephant on a green background to a green elephant on a white background, AND the official "EVERNOTE" typeface has changed to "Evernote". I don't know how to make graphical updates to Wikipedia pages. Can anyone help?
I need help with Evernote's page!
editAs everyone has ignored the above request for assistance, maybe if I put "Evernote" in the title maybe somebody will respond.
