The article Selena Taylor has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 00:46, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

AfD Nomination: Golden-Road.net
editAn editor has nominated the article Golden-Road.net for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Golden-Road.net. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Golden-Road.net during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. editBe careful about your edits to Michigan Competing Band Association, as they sound more like bashing of groups with smaller schools with bigger bands or vice-versa. I did, however, change the wording of your edit, (because it was true), so it sounds less like a bash to bigger groups. Refusetobesilenced 19:52, 18 March 2007 (UTC) I wasn't trying to bash smaller or bigger schools, just pointing out that it was true (as I was caught up in the middle of the change at the time), but thank you for clearing it up if it needed it.User:Jbl1975 13:17 PDT, 18 Mar 2007.
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Eagle (fictional U.S. state), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. editThanks for adding the section on popular culture to the flea circus page. Could you track down what that third film is? At the moment it adds nothing to the article.
Pretty much of Kurumi entry is speculations, they only write infos base on what they thinks the infos are likely to be incorrect. Are there any other website you found this info on? Wikipedia basically get infos by administrator docs,and metro-newspapers. Kurumi is not a reliable source.69.105.96.36 02:45, 28 June 2007 (UTC)11thGR Student HPShu-9194
Deletion nomination
editA tag has been placed on Interstate 875, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Interstate 875 is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Interstate 875 saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. (→vishwin60 - is User:O in 3 days (possibly)) 23:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
The Masked Rider: Cycling In West Africa
editA {{prod}} template has been added to the article The Masked Rider: Cycling In West Africa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. A tag has been placed on Severing requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Spam in Hockeytown Café
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Hockeytown Café, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Hockeytown Café is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Hockeytown Café, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Stop adding rumors and other unsourced or original content, as you did to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. Does Wikipedia look like a tabloid? Do you see the word "Encyclopedia" anywhere? Pay real close attention. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid, and not the rumor mill. "It is rumored..." should never be used in Wikipedia. The article Get the hook has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- unreferenced definition, probably more suitable for Wikitionary
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 20:39, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Hello, Jbl1975. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, The Sesame Street Bedtime Storybook, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
Deletion discussion about The Sesame Street Bedtime Storybook
editHello, Jbl1975,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether The Sesame Street Bedtime Storybook should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Sesame Street Bedtime Storybook .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

Disambiguation link notification for October 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Deenie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Short bus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Reversible lane, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michigan Avenue (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). editPlease stop adding unsourced content, as you did to (Don't Fear) The Reaper. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You've been advised multiple times about being more careful about providing sources. Additionally, in this specific case WP:IPCV would also apply. DonIago (talk) 04:15, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

The article WWEN (fictional) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced list of uses of the call sign "WWEN" in popular culture. Page lacks any sources that would demonstrate the significance of the mentions of this call sign in the TV shows and movies listed, and proper context is not given for most of the listed appearances. As such, this page violates WP:INDISCRIMINATE. Significant coverage of the subject or subjects is not present in reliable sources, and as such it does not meet WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tdl1060 (talk) 09:28, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Why not merge it with the non-fictional WWEN page? It started, yes, as a page for when it was fake call letters, then it was changed when a real station with those call letters was started. jbl1975 (talk)
In fact, I just went ahead and merged it with the actual WWEN (FM) page, so go ahead and delete it. :-) jbl1975 (talk)

- You can't just edit Wikipedia with unverified stuff "that I heard is correct". And there have been plenty of "peeps" left on your talk page about this. You're just ignoring them. TJRC (talk) 05:07, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
I was referring to this particular page, not other pages, when I said that. I have put a lot of different fandoms in personally.
