Francesco Masini article

I had proposed that the article be deleted, but I came across a couple of references that seemed to indicate his notability.

May I suggest that if possible you find some sources of information about Masini that can be added to the article?If you find a book, magazine, newspaper article, etc that you want to use as a reference, just type one of the following after the information in the article which the reference is about:

Hi!

Just a quick question - where did the above photo of Masini come from? The reason I ask is that I presume that you did not take the photograph yourself! If it is from a family photograph (I'm assuming from your user name that there is a family connection), it might be wise to mention this on the file's description page (if you're not sure how, ask me, and I'll help out). If it is from a book, then this should be mentioned - the publication date of the book would help to know the copyright status.

If you let me know the source of the photograph, and if you want me to add details to the file description to show this, just contact me.

I'm going to keep looking for details about Francesco - however it would help if I knew if the Maltese version of his name would be different to Francesco Masini - for example, if there are any accents over letters, etc.

Oh, and I see you have put the article on the Malti wikipedia - well done! I don't know about that wikipedia, but perhaps they have equivalents to WikiProjects, where you could post a message asking for more information - it can be from books or newspapers as well as online.

• A quick note to explain the proposed deletion. UltraMagnus is saying that there is no indication of the importance or notability of Guiseppe Pace. This is not a personal issue, but as the article as it stands does not really say anything about why he is important or notable, it is the correct thing to do. If you have more information to add to the article which you can add now, then do so. If not, then you can ask (on the talk page, using the link above) for it to be userfied - in other words, moved to your user space so that you can work on it. However, as the name "Speedy Delete" implies, the article can be deleted at any time. If you want it moved to your user space, you need to mention this on the talk page as soon as possible. Quinqueliteral (5-letter) roots in Maltese

Hi Jmasini! Could you maybe help me out: I would like to know if the Maltese language exhibits any roots with five or more consonants – also if they only exist only in slang. If it does, are these roots inflected as verbs, as nouns, as adjectives etc.? Are these inflections problematic? How does the National Council for the Maltese Language address these roots? How do speakers of Maltese regard these roots? Any information (and many examples!) would be greatly appreciated! Please write me here on my talk page. Saint Rapheal Lake

I just thought I'd let you know that I saw your article Saint Rapheal Lake in the New Articles list-- However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors: the article does not contain in-line citations, and so doesn't follow Wikipedia style guidelines. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to!
