Happy Birthday!

Thank you Soaper! - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:22, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Hey(: now just wondering if 100% canon that Brax and Ricky live in Palm Cove?.

Because on show it was clear they were moving to Sydney to be close Kyle and Heath and Bianca?.

Lot of fans have not read that spin off book and those spin off books on TV shows are not normally considered canon and normally are alternate reality fictions.

So maybe we could put something on there character like canon they live in Sydney but in there

Don't mean to be snappy but just wanted to just point it out there that by TV show Brax and Ricky they live in Sydney. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazykylebraxtonfan (talkcontribs) 10:35, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

If it was mentioned in the show, then feel free to change the ibox. - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:56, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

Thanks I change both Ricky and Brax page to living in Sydney.

I would like very much if the deleted content that described the contestants and who beat whom by episode could be returned. How can this happen? Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjtomlia (talkcontribs) 03:29, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

@Mjtomlia: I just updated a url on that page, so you're probably better off asking User:SanAnMan, the editor who removed the content. From what I can gather though, it was removed because of WP:IINFO. - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:52, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

Kirsty Clements

Hello JuneGloom07, hope you are keeping well. Having read some of your recent articles, I have been really 'wowed' and given inspiration to further my draft on Kirsty Clements. I was hoping that, should be available to do so, you could see if there was any magazine articles relating to the character that you owned? No problem if you are busy, and thank you once again. Soaper1234 - talk 21:40, 1 August 2017 (UTC)

I hadn't forgotten about this, but I've been trying to finish off some drafts of my own and I've been busy in real life. I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise it's going to be quick. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:06, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Thank you ever so much! Don't worry about it immediately anyway - continue with your own projects first. Thanks, Soaper1234 - talk 10:30, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Re:Hey

I think that's about it. Hopefully, some Info about Rupert would lift him out of others. Which list do you have in mind next aside from 1995 (a pretty terrible year for the show, tbh)? I was thinking 1986 as that's been left dormant for a fair while.

Conquistador2k6 2 September 2017 15:45 (UTC)

1987 sounds good. Especially with Udagawa in and out of the current product. 2 September 2017 18:55 (UTC)

@Conquistador2k6: Did you want me to get the 1994 list moved, or did you want to do it? - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:46, 19 September 2017 (UTC)

You can if, you like. Conquistador2k6 20 September 2017 13L27 (UTC)

@Conquistador2k6: Done! Not sure why, but I thought we needed an admin to move it, which is why I asked. Now we just have to create a lot of redirects! If you want to get rid of the User:Conquistador2k6/List of Neighbours characters (1994) redirect, just add {{db-u1}} to the page. - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:56, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

Inside Soap

Would it be worth adding Josh Hemmings, Luke Browning, Hugo Browning to the soap villain list as the Inside Soap calls them along with Fi and James "Walford's Family of Evil" on page 12 of this week's issue dated 7-13 Oct 2017. Thanks for your help in advance.82.132.235.100 (talk) 16:51, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

I'm not really sure, so you'd probably be better off asking at the List of soap opera villains talk page. I haven't watched EE in a while, so I don't know if Josh or Luke truly belong there. You could use this for Hugo though. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:54, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
Just to say that the article in Inside Soap says "Is Willmott-Brown's family as evil as he is?" and answers with "who knows?", the "family of evil" part is just a headline really. I've only watched so far up to the episode where we find out everyone is related to Willmott-Brown, so can't be as much help. — anemoneprojectors 00:28, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
In that case, I probably wouldn't add Josh and Luke to the list (yet). - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:33, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Any idea about where to find archives for The Times?

Hi JuneGloom07, I thought I would ask you as you are very good with finding archive articles! I am having a bit of trouble finding archive links for the three Times articles on the HolbyBlue page. Do you have any idea where I could find these three sources? Many thanks. ElectrodeandtheAnode (talk) 10:22, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

Update: managed to find two of the sources: 1 & 2! ElectrodeandtheAnode (talk) 10:53, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
@ElectrodeandtheAnode: The Wayback Machine may have them. - JuneGloom07 Talk 11:30, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
It's okay now, I managed to find the articles on the website (at last!), it turns out the search engine was very picky on what was put in the search bar for the articles to be found. Had to subscribe to The Times too, but they have finally been retrieved. Apologies to disturb you, but thank you for the reply nonetheless; have a nice holiday! ElectrodeandtheAnode (talk) 11:45, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

Shortland Street

Hi JuneGloom07, I want to firstly thank you for your edits on the Shortland Street articles, I really appreciate it! Funnily enough, I was actually going to ask you to look over the Shortland Street articles for me as I have been trying to clean them up for the mess that they are/were. But you bet me to it! Could you also look over Harper Whitley, Boyd Rolleston, and Kylie Brown for me? These are articles I have recently created. I would also greatly appreciate any cleanups to any other articles too. I want to try bring these articles up to the standards of other soaps. Thanks again, Hatio93. 02:32, 29 November 2017 (UTC).

Hey @Hatio93:. No problem. I stumbled upon the 2016 list through my routine check of Category:Fictional characters introduced in 2016 (and related years). Obviously the list needs some more work, but it's a good start. And those character articles look pretty good too. I'll have a closer look a bit later and see if there's anything that needs doing. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:52, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
Yes @JuneGloom07: the list defiantly has a long way to go! Basically the 2016 and 2017 list are on my to do's first. But articles like Nicole Miller, Finn Connelly and Vinnie Kruse are in urgent need of a cleanup!!! All the Shortland Street articles have been edited by un-experienced wikiEditors and due to a lack of attention, they have suffered as a result. There is still a long road ahead to get these articles to an adequate standard. I also want to go about promoting Chris Warner to GA status at some stage. Also List of Shortland Street episodes is very out of date and it is not standard for long running soaps to have this, I marked it for deletion but the tag was rmvd, how should I go about doing this? Anyway, thanks again for your help! Hatio93 06:25, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
@Hatio93: (Btw, you don't have to ping me on my own talk page.) I think Chris Warner has the potential to become a GA for sure. He seems like the Paul Robinson of Shortland Street with all those wives and children! If it hasn't been done before, you could add a WP:PROD tag to the episode list with a valid reason for deletion. If it has been nominated before or the tag is removed before the deadline, then you'll have to go to WP:AfD and follow the process there. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:50, 30 November 2017 (UTC)

Episode 1068 (Casualty)

Hello JuneGloom07. Hope you are keeping well. I was wondering whether you might be able to help me out. I've been drafting an article for Episode 1068 of Casualty, where Zoe returns and Max departs. I planned on buying that week's copy of Inside Soap for Sunetra Sarker's interview and any story snippets from the rest of the magazine, but − quite typically − I completely forgot. I am wondering whether you might have picked up a copy that you would wouldn't mind sharing with me? No worries if not and thank you, Soaper1234 - talk 17:52, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

Vandalism on soap articles

Hi again, I thought our disruptive friend may have quit editing, but obviously not, is there any way User321a can be banned for their disruptive edits? They have had a lot of warnings but don't seem to learn their lesson! Surely their is a limit to how many disruptive edits you can make until being banned? – Hatio93 Talk 13:40, 4 February 2018 (UTC

I am sorry. I promise I won't do it anymore. Please give me one more chance. User talk:User321a I honestly don't mean it. I have special needs and don't realise what I am doing. If I had some help then I may not do it. Could you please take my condition into account? User talk:User321a

@Hatio93: There's a big difference between a ban and a block. ;) A block will likely only happen after they've been adequately warned. Admittedly, I've been cutting them a little slack in the hope that they take my advice and learn from their mistakes.
@User321a: All I ask is that you provide reliable sources for your edits. The burden is on you to back up the information you are adding. I gave you a couple of links on your talk page and I urge you to read them, as they will help you become a better editor. If you're unsure about making an edit (like changing table formats), start a discussion on the article's talk page and hopefully someone will soon come by to offer advice. Please also start using edit summaries, as they help out other editors immensely when reading through an article's history. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:18, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
JuneGloom07, I now understand the differences ;), thanks for that! I don't know much about patrolling. I just don't want unsourced info to be left on pages that readers could see. I know there are sources out there for the character Tyler Brennan's departure, but I too want User321a to understand the WP:BURDEN is on them so I have avoided adding them. – Hatio93 Talk 07:54, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
I feel like one of us is going to end up adding the info eventually. But, User321a appears to have taken the advice on board, so there is hope [5]. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:07, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
@Hatio93: Nope, I was wrong. Judging by today's edits (and one made yesterday), User321a is pretty much going to continue on as before. I guess they're not willing to take on board the advice permanently. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:56, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
Yes, Ive just caught up on their contributions now. At first, I thought that it may be due to them not knowing how to add a source, but as we saw the other day with this edit [6], they do. I am now beginning to think that is just blatant laziness and made-up/untrue info. – Hatio93 Talk 05:42, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Hi June, I have another issue with a IP (User talk:27.252.227.125) that has been editing Current Shortland Street characters recently along with some of the Shortland Street lists. I have learned from other editors and yourself that appearances with less than a calendar year between them aren't counted, but this IP insists that this isn't the case and keeps clogging it with extra years, not to mention some of the language he uses on wikipedia (just see his talk page for an example). He also keeps adding uncredited names to the list entires too. I was just wondering if you could point me into the direction to where this rule or guideline is stipulated, just so I can use it to back up my reason for my edit reverts. I hope I am not being a bother. — Hatio93 Talk 14:27, 9 April 2018 (UTC)

@Hatio93: I can't remember where it was discussed off the top of my head. It's probably in the WP:SOAP archives, so you may have to dig through them. Sorry! Have you tried discussing the issues with the editor anywhere? If they're being uncivil towards you or other editors, you should leave a warning on their talk page. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:12, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Yeah thought I might have to dig through. Just thought id ask because I have seen you refer to it a few times. They called another editor a "fucking douche" on their talk page shortly after they were blocked. Otherwise, he has referred to me as a "micro mind" and a "prat" so nothing as serious. They also stated that the Shortland Street articles were in much better shape before I started editing them, which not to sound narcissistic, is complete nonsense! Btw, nice work on Brody Morgan and Mason Morgan, nice to see some new H&A articles! Anyway, all good and thanks for your help! — Hatio93 Talk 17:31, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Sorry to be a pest again. But now I am having trouble on the Shortland Street lists where editors are adding uncredited names without a source. I have also learned from you and other editors that we don't mention uncredited names. I found a discussion here on WP:SOAPS but I just wanted to ask, can I actually use this for backup? These editors are saying that the project is irrelevant to the lists as it is not an actual Wikipedia rule. But wouldn't their editing be considered disruptive? Can I warn them? — Hatio93 Talk 05:28, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
@Hatio93: You can certainly refer to that discussion as it was forming a consensus against the use of uncredited names in the lead. There was also this discussion about the same issue at WP:RFC. You can warn the editors if they are making disruptive edits. I also suggest trying to engage them in a discussion on a relevant talk page to avoid edit wars. You might be able to come to some sort of agreement about the names. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:59, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Neighbours '87

Hey.

After seeing you upload the '86 list after years of massaging, I got to thinking if I could pick your brains for some help for the latter list. I understand you have some stuff for Amanda that may just lift her out of others and may have some Udagawa stuff, mainly stuff surrounding his return. Conquistador2k6 11 February 2018 19:51 (UTC)

@Conquistador2k6: Hi, sure. I can't remember off the top of my head what I have for Udagawa, but I do recall there was some sort of casting and storyline development info for Amanda. I won't forget about it, but I do want a little break from cast lists to create a couple of new articles first. - JuneGloom07 Talk 04:32, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

Okay, that's cool. No pressure. Conquistador2k6 12 February 2018 12:38 (UTC)

@Conquistador2k6: Actually, can I add the Amanda stuff now? It wasn't where I thought it was and it would free up some space for me. I also have some for Greg Cooper. - JuneGloom07 Talk 16:36, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

Go for it, I'm doing some housekeeping on the minor players in that list and I appreciate all the ehlp I can get. Conquistador2k6 12 February 2018 16:53 (UTC) If you've got anything on Kenny Larkin/Russell Crowe that'd be great. I reckon he's about the only guestie left who could walk right out of others and you're pretty good with the Higher profile bit part players. Conquistador2k6 12 February 2018 21:06 (UTC)

I probably have, but it's going to have to wait for a bit. - JuneGloom07 Talk 22:05, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

That's cool. Bulk of the work is done, Russell/Kenny's just the final piece of the puzzle, really. Conquistador2k6 13 February 2018 01:26 (UTC)

Article requests

Hey, sorry if this comes across as rude, I’m just wondering if you think it would be time for Leo or one of the new Rebecchi’s to gain their own page? Or even one of the Morgans in Home and Away? Sorry again if you felt this was rude. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.132.185.35 (talk) 10:17, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi, it's not rude. I just moved it out of the way of the other discussion. It might be a little too soon for the Rebecchis, but Leo and Jack are on my list (probably Jack first). I have started work on an article for Brody Morgan, which I hope to finish soon. Then maybe Tori? - JuneGloom07 Talk 16:36, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Sounds great, I had thought about the Rebecchi’s as Yashvi and Kirsha have had good stories but I respect your opinions. Hopefully you find the time to get some new articles done :)82.132.217.222 (talk) 20:36, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
The new Rebecchis have been in the show less than a year, and I usually like to wait at least a year or more before creating an article for a character, so there's more development info available. Good storylines don't always mean the characters will pass Wikipedia's notability guidelines. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:49, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

Hey, my phone plan will give me a different IP sadly, I know you made an article for the Terese, Brad and Lauren three hander episode, i was wondering if you'd have an interest in making an article for today's four hander with Jack, Paige, Mark and Steph?82.132.213.12 (talk) 16:29, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

I had considered it, but there doesn't seem to be enough info around at the moment. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:12, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

Sources for Jack

Hey June, I was wondering if you possibly have anything for the reception section of Jack Callahan? I couldn't find much on the web apart from the fact that DailyMail labeled him "mysterious" in every article they wrote of him in the early days. If you have anything it would be awesome if you could add it in. Quick question, do you know much about Flickr uploads to Commons? There aren't any images of Olympia Valance on commons but there are on Flickr... do you know how to upload one? Its just Jack's article is crying out for an image of Olympia! — Hatio93 Talk 01:04, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

@Hatio93: It's possible I have a couple of links to reception pieces somewhere, but I'll have to add them when I come across them. I'm trying to grab some time to work on my own projects for a bit. I will suggest having a search through The Free Library though. From what I can see none of the images of Olympia have the correct Creative Commons license (CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, or CC0), so they are not free. You could try asking the copyright holder if they are willing to change the license. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:24, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for keeping a lookout with the sources, no pressure! Yeah I had a look myself with those images and thought there might be a licensing issue, but I just didn't know too much about commons. As you have probably seen, I have nominated Jack for GA, I know it might be a little hasty and the article still needs quite a bit of work, but I just want the mistakes with the article to be pointed out and to go through the GA status as I want my first "proper article" (by that I mean not stubs or lists) to be the best it can be so that I can go onto making more articles minus the mistakes! Just bear with as I go through my teething stages! — Hatio93 Talk 07:22, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
I do think it's too soon for Jack to be nominated at GAN. And I'm not sure that the process should be used like that. If you want someone to point out all the things wrong with the article, try peer review instead. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:07, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
I think described my intentions incorrectly. What I mean is I want it to go through the good article review to change the issues flagged by the assessor. I do intend to apply the recommendations they give in hopes for a pass or do you think it will be failed instantly without a review? If so, I will un-nominate it and do the peer review instead. — Hatio93 Talk 01:28, 20 February 2018 (UTC)

Hey!

Hi JuneGloom07. Hope you're well and enjoying your holiday! Is was hoping to ask a huge favour from you (again)? I dread to think how many favours you could have lined up for me - haha! I am in need of the interview with Charlotte Salt from a 2012 Inside Soap magazine for a draft I am completing offline. The interview, which you referenced in the article Sam Nicholls (ref. 7), is inside issue 14 on pages 20 and 21, dated 7–13 April 2012. Don't worry about this too much, especially if you're away. Would you be able to provide me with a copy of this interview whenever suits you? Thank you very much, Soaper1234 - talk 14:31, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

I have to confess that I'm not actually on holiday anymore, but I've been too ill and lazy to remove the notice. I'll take a look for the magazine later, but I might not get around to scanning it until sometime during the weekend. - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:54, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

Aaron Jakubenko

The actor has a starring role in an upcoming Australian drama series Tidelands and has had quite a few supporting or starring roles in other notable Australian series Neighbours and international series such as The Shannara Chronicles, Roman Empire: Reign of Blood and Spartacus: Blood and Sand. He may have been lesser known in 2016 when the previous discussion happened but he is better known in 2018. I find it incredulous that he is not an actor of note. There are millions of other articles on other actors who have had fewer roles or roles not as notable as his. I spent a lot of time and effort gathering the information and there isn't one site that contained all that relevant data together. J Bar (talk) 13:52, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

@J Bar: The article was previously deleted as a result of an WP:AfD discussion, and the recreated article had no substantial changes. It had two sources, one of which was unreliable, and there didn't seem to be anything there that wasn't already mentioned on IMDb or likewise. I suggest working on a draft in your userspace and using the information at WP:BLP to help. - JuneGloom07 Talk 14:33, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
You've deleted a few hours work and you want me to start again from scratch? Why delete an article which links to so many other articles? There are literally millions of other articles on actors which have less credits, virtually no links and are way less notable. This article has been unfairly targeted for deletion. J Bar (talk) 19:47, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
Your version of the article was not an improvement on the previous page that's why I nominated it for deletion. I believe Yunshui has already offered to restore the article in your userspace for you to work on it, so the information is not gone. Also, please see Wikipedia:Other stuff exists. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:39, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

Hey there.

Can you put a protection on the Tori Morgan page to stop that person constantly putting bad Work on it. Pity others can’t wait for decent articles from the likes of you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.132.227.98 (talk) 12:19, 13 April 2018 (UTC)

I'll make a request at WP:RFPP. I feel a little bad because Tori was next on my list after Brody, but I had all this info for Mason ready so I created his article first. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:51, 13 April 2018 (UTC)

I think Alec Snow who played Matt Page on H&A needs actor page?.

Could you start one please?. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazykylebraxtonfan (talkcontribs) 11:11, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

He appears to have only had one acting role (Matt Page in H&A), so I don't think he's quite ready for one yet. - JuneGloom07 Talk 14:17, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

But Alec Snow also has band and is singer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazykylebraxtonfan (talkcontribs) 03:37, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

Is he notable for being in the band though? Have they released singles and albums that have charted, or won any awards? If an article is created for him now, I suspect it will be nominated for deletion. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:36, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

Hello. I am coming to you for some help. An anonymous user 82.16.128.54 has been making a number of disruptive edits, with at least one of them havong explicit and offensive language. Please refer to this as this would show all of them 82.16.128.54. I have took your previous advice on board by reporting them to WP:AIV, but when I tried to submit my edit, it couldn't be saved. I am stuck now with what I have to do, as this user is continuing to vandalize everything. Please get back to me ASAP. Thanks User321a (talk) 15:45, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

I have tried to view all of the contributions, but because the link was a redlink, I couldn't click on it. I didn't know that it would be a redlink until I clicked 'Save' as there was no way of previewing my edit before submission. User321a (talk) 15:47, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
@User321a: I've warned the IP for the content removal at List of past Emmerdale characters. They were also warned for incivility last week by another editor. If they continue to vandalise articles after a final warning, then you'll have to go to WP:AIV for admin action. Maybe you could have a read of WP:RVAN in the meantime. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:30, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

Hey!

Hi JuneGloom07, hope you are well. I was wondering if you could help me out (again)? I'm developing a draft of Adrian Fletcher (character) so it can be improved. I am in great need of some magazine sources and hoped that you could help me out? Don't worry about it if you are busy as I'm in no great rush and I understand it would be a big task. Thank you once again and all the best, Soaper1234 - talk 11:48, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

@Soaper1234: Do you want specific issues? Because I don't particularly want to go through all of the mags to find every Fletch article. It might be better to let me know which storylines you need the most help with, especially if you can't find many online sources (and please don't say all of them! :P). - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:22, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for helping me out :) @Raintheone: It really was a mess - I'm glad you both cleaned it up as it really was a state. Hi JuneGloom07! Thank you for having a look into these for me - I do appreciate it! I've been away and looked into some key Fletch moments that I don't already have sources for. Having looked into it, I know for sure about the following interviews:
  • Suzanne Packer interview in 13-19 July 2013 edition
  • Alex Walkinshaw interview in 24-30 August 2013 edition
  • Alex Walkinshaw interview in 9-15 August 2014 edition
  • Louise Delamere interview in 6-12 September 2014 edition
  • Joe McFadden interview in 13-19 September 2014 edition
  • Louise Delamere interview in 1-7 November 2014 edition
  • Holby producer interview in 8-14 November 2014 edition
I would also imagine the 7-13 July 2012 edition may have something since it is Fletch's introduction. If you could have a look for these for me, I would really appreciate it (as always). There are some other key Fletch dates which may have something but I'm not 100% sure so I won't bother you with these. Thank you again, Soaper1234 - talk 11:01, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

@Soaper1234: Right, I've located all of them apart from the 2013 issues, which I'll look for later. You needed the 30 June – 6 July 2012 issue though, so I pulled that instead. Thanks for the date correction in Ned's article. I think I know why I did it, but not why I did it twice... I'll go get scanning. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:36, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for reverting the attempt to add a non-free image back to this article. While the current image is not great, I believe a better image could be created simply by re-cropping the original image (in particular starting from the large version) to focus more on her head. Sadly things like this require an account, so I am unable to do it. Hopefully you, or someone else, will be inclined to do it. 2A02:C7D:3CAF:D900:B1F0:122C:8026:C287 (talk) 10:45, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I don't think you need a named account if you want to make a request at the Graphics Lab. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:44, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Character Name.

I'm curious, do you watch Emmerdale? I've watched all the episodes of Emmerdale. The character Joseph Tate was born on-screen on 8 June 1995 and named Joseph Mark Tate after his mother's stepfather Joseph Sugden (who had just recently died in a car crash) and her brother Mark Hughes. It's mentioned in the article you keep trying to edit. No one is disputing the fact that he is mostly called Joe Tate, (he is sometimes referred to as Joseph Tate) and credited as Joe Tate on the show but even the character revealed himself to be Joseph Tate when he revealed his identity on 4 January 2018. Ned Porteous who plays the part of Joseph Tate is credited as Joseph Tate on both his Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Porteous) and IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7504614/) pages, the character is also referred to as Joseph Tate on the official Emmerdale website (http://www.itv.com/emmerdale/tom), you should have a look. Thanks.

In order to keep the discussion in one place, I've replied on the talk page of the article. - JuneGloom07 Talk 16:27, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

@Pdineen03: User:Raintheone is not targeting you. They removed unsourced content from a WP:BLP here, which you have since added back. Please find and add a reliable source to the article, or it will be removed again. I believe they have explained why they removed the storylines from Ste Hay's article on their talk page. - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:21, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
I see that you've actually been adding unsourced information to a lot of BLPs, like you did here, here, and here with the edit summary "Fixed typo". You need to provide a reliable source for your edits and leave a more appropriate edit summary, as you are not fixing any typos. - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:50, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

Those Characters have appeared in that number of episodes. And no one explained why they edited Ste hays storylines and it doesn't matter if i say fixed typo or not Pdineen03 (talk) 18:04, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

@Pdineen03: Have they? Where is your evidence/source for that? Please check User:Raintheone's talk page, as a reply was left for you regarding Ste Hay's article. And your edit summaries do matter, as they let other editors know in the history what kind of edit was performed. At the moment, your edit summaries are misleading. You are not fixing any typos, you're adding (unsourced) content. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:08, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

If people want to see what i edited then they can just press on it and they'll be able to see. And there is proof that they appeared in that much episodes, i asked the scriptwriters. You don't know who i am do you?😆 Pdineen03 (talk) 20:00, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

@Pdineen03: Per Wikipedia:No original research, you may not include claims that have not been published by reliable sources. XYZt (talk) 20:19, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
I don't need to know or really care who you are, but you need to start providing reliable sources for your edits. Your conversations with scriptwriters are not a reliable source. If you're unwilling to follow WP:V, then you will likely end up with a block. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:26, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

@Conquistador2k6: Ah, I missed this. I will shout if I need assistance. I also realise I haven't actually edited the page in a month, due to more pressing issues like the closure of HighBeam Research. Rain and I are attempting to download and archive as many articles as possible. It's tedious work. You may have noticed that the Fairfax News Store also closed some time ago, and we've lost both All About Soap and Soaplife. It's getting tough to be a soaps editor. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:19, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

File:Playing for Keeps title card.jpg

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Help

Hello. I am coming to you for some help. I reverted an edit made by Brooklynglassey123 as they didn't provide a reliable source. This user left a message on my talk page accusing me of vandalism and threatening to report me. I replied stating that everything on Wikipedia needs to be sourced and that although their edit was right, I mentioned that without a reliable source being added, it is best not to make such an edit. I was wondering if you could look into this for me please? A response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. User321a (talk) 19:47, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Zoe Tate

Hi. I'm glad another editor besides me is interested in expanding/improving the article for Zoe Tate. Do you mind sharing the sources you mentioned in this edit (especially if you have access to sources from the 1990s/emmerdale books)? If you're too busy to work on this article at the moment, I would be interested in taking a look at the available sources and helping out if possible. No worries if you're not interested. Bennv3771 (talk) 09:19, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Apologies, I missed this (then moved it to the top while archiving and forgot to reply). My sources are mostly articles from Inside Soap. I have some scans from a friend (we exchange articles) and some physical magazines that I know cover Zoe's early storylines, including her relationships with Emma and Susie. I also have the books already in use within the article, and I think I have a couple of Emmerdale magazines (not sure about their contents right now). - JuneGloom07 Talk 04:12, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
Oh hey, thanks. I'm a little busy with other stuff for now, but I do hope to revisit that article soon. Those sources sound great, especially for the early years stuff which is difficult to find online. Bennv3771 (talk) 06:34, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Lily Madigan

The article Lily Madigan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not been elected to any notable position in politics, only local labour group.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Archers

Yep I do plan to expand it. I have to ask, where do you get your information on character history? It’s hard to find on the internet and I’m in Australia Kdog5592 (talk) 00:22, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

@Kdog5592: That's great! I just wanted to make sure because often these types of articles just get abandoned, and then redirected or deleted (like Dan Archer (The Archers) which I noticed this evening). A lot of the information I gathered for Ruth's article came from The Archers books, which I own. But there might be one or two available online through Google Books. Everything else came from British newspaper websites, such as The Independent and The Guardian. I know there's a few HighBeam Research articles, but that service was recently shut down (and replaced by Questia). The BBC also updated their site a few years ago and a lot of their articles about the character's storylines were removed, but you could try looking through the Wayback Machine. It's starting to get harder to create fictional character articles these days. - JuneGloom07 Talk 04:07, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

Rita Freeman

Hi JuneGloom07! How are you? Hope all is well! Some really nice work recently - I especially liked the article on Sonya's final episode. That was my first episode of Neighbours and I loved it so much I've become a regular viewer! Anyhow, I was wondering whether I could ask a favour from yourself? I'm currently creating an article for Rita Freeman and I am in need of a few Inside Soap articles. I have a few on a list that I know about, but there could be some more... Would you be able to share them with me whenever you approach a convenient time? Not a problem if not. Thanks, Soaper1234 - talk 19:58, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

@Soaper1234: I'm good. Hope you're well too. It didn't turn out too bad in the end, did it? I wanted to get it done quickly, while it was still so fresh and raw in my mind. Just got to get it through DYK now! Now, that could be a little tricky as the 2010–2015 magazines are currently in an inaccessible place. I do have a few 2016 ones out at the moment that will help with the Iain info though. I'll scan them soon. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:35, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
I'm good too, thank you. I was rather impressed and it is a good article - in fact, have you considered nominating it for GA? Thank you so much. Anything you can do to help would be great! I've managed to do lots from online interviews, but I thought I'd grab some magazine sources too so it's not too one-source heavy. Soaper1234 - talk 21:15, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
@Soaper1234: I am planning on taking it to GAN, but I'm going to get it copy edited first. I just want some of the prose tightened. Hopefully the Aaron/David wedding eps will be my next article. I really wanted to do the International Women's Day ep, but there was a lack of production info and reception unfortunately. I'll see if I can gain access to the 2015 mags, as they're near the top of the drawers. The rest of them are blocked in for the moment though. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:12, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
That's fab news - I can't see there being any problems there. The Aaron and David wedding episodes look like a good next challenge. I thought about doing the International Women's Day episode that Emmerdale did as there was a fair bit out there for that. Thank you so much, I do appreciate your help. Soaper1234 - talk 21:11, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
@Soaper1234: You should go for that Emmerdale episode! The show needs all the quality articles it can get on here. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:33, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
I might just do that. A project for the future. Until then, I've got the Rita article and a possible David one to work with (along with all the other ones I keep putting off!) Soaper1234 - talk 19:28, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

DYK for Episode 8052

On 27 April 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Episode 8052, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Episode 8052 of the Australian soap opera Neighbours concerns the death of series regular Sonya Rebecchi, whose portrayer's contract was not renewed to reduce production costs? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Episode 8052. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Episode 8052), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Neighbours '88

Hi, I know you're not too big on Listicles at the minute but I think it's ready. I've rounded up a more than sufficient amount of sources (though I would have liked to have given Gloria her own section as she was a regular for two years but can't find jack on Beverly Phillips, so in others she goes!) I know how particular you are about articles, Neighbours in particular, I just needed to seek your opinion before asking AP to to make the move. You're more than welcome to add anything you may have from that time period. Conquistador2k6 (Yo, Talk to Me!) 00:38 12 July 2019 (UTC)

I'll check it out in a moment, but you don't need an admin to move it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:51, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
It's not that I'm not big on the lists, it's just that I've been busy with articles that need more attention. I have been working on some lists offline though. As for being particular, I guess I want the articles to (mostly) look the same. I think I've made it clear that I don't like the direct copying and pasting of information from other articles for the blurbs. I try to rewrite them where I can. There's definitely much more info that can be added to Nina/Nene. I think I've got some sources saved for her. Edith too. There are some sources missing for actors in the Others section (Frank Darcy, Prue Watkins, Gary Ling and Noeline Mangel). If you can hold on to it, then I can help with the Nina/Edith stuff over the weekend. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:13, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

Thanks. Everyone is more or less sourced albeit via cite eps bar Gary, have his ep but not the writer. Also, No Hurry but do you have anything for Lee Maloney/Maree Ackhurst for 1989? Looked high and low, to be fair here tenure was short but she was considered a regular. Some of these actors/actresses tend to go off grid after their moment in the sun. Conquistador2k6 (Yo, Talk to Me!) 14:34 12 July 2019 (UTC)

I think there was something about Lee in the 20th anniversary book, or maybe the programme guide. I'll look. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:18, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

I think we've mined everything we can from this. Think the well is dry and 98 Sources seems significant enough. Just need your last minute scrutiny/advice before taking any further steps. Conquistador2k6 (Yo, Talk to Me!) 17:45 25 July 2019 (UTC)

@Conquistador2k6: I'm annoyed with myself for not finding the Jane/Mark article I know I have, but yes, I think the list is ready. I will advise that not every character will need a redirect. If they're only mentioned a couple of times in other articles (like the recurring charas list), then use the direct link, as unnecessary redirects take up space. Nene will need two redirects though. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:50, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

Thanks a million for all your help! Conquistador2k6 (Yo, Talk to Me!) 00:45629 July 2019 (UTC)

Images

The image is from a promotional advertisement which I sourced online. I hate to be petty, because this really is a passing hobby, but the idea of having old images, particularly grainy ones at that, on these pages is ridiculous. In fact, I sourced many of the images you are trying to keep (Lyn etc). Also, I’ve spent 20 years as a journalist, and have a law degree, so know the ins and outs of building articles, as well as copyright. Quite happy to go toe-to-toe on this one.

What qualifications you have is not relevant to this discussion, and in my view it kinda comes across as an attempt at intimidation. User:Raintheone and I were just stating our views about the recent images, so that we don't end up in an edit war down the line. If you could update the rationale for Gail's image to reflect where it came from that would be helpful.. Eventually all the rationales should have the episode number/date added to them. I already updated the Dee one for you. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:00, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
