UK designer slash clothing firm
Hello June, your name was suggested to me by User:HJ_Mitchell, whom I ran across in an edit-history of a troubled page. Thanks to solid editing by User:Racconish, the page has survived AfD... but it still needs some assistance.
My job was to try and contact the owners of the designer-slash-clothing firm, who edit from various anon addresses, and suffer from a case of WP:NOCLUE ... they are too busy selling tuxedos, silk ties, cufflinks, and USD$900-each duffel bags for lugging around one's expensive tennis raquet, it seems, and have never read *any* of wikipedia's five bazillion policies, in the . Unfortunately, I failed in my job, and have not managed to locate anybody as yet.
Thus, the page is somewhat unfinished. So... ummm... I notice you have an Art History banner on your userpage! Might that interest extend to design menswear, with color-oriented shirts, dazzling cufflinks, and such? :-) Truth: they do have very artistic hand-made cufflinks. None that have been installed as an exhibit in the Louvre, as yet, but still.
Or if not yourself, do you know someone who might be interested? The article in question is Duchamp (clothing), retail stores located in London. Thanks for improving wikipedia. Feel free to ping my talkpage if you reply, and I don't respond promptly. 74.192.84.101 (talk) 23:00, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Not only do I have an Art History banner on my page, I also happen to have a Fashion WikiProject banner too. I'm interested in improving the article, but the only problem is time. I'm working on a couple of projects at the moment that I really hope to finish before I go away to Ireland on Saturday. The internet over there isn't great (no broadband where I'm going), so I won't be doing any major editing for a while. If the article needs action straight away, then it might be worth dropping a note on Fashion WikiProject talk page and see if anyone there can help. - JuneGloom Talk 23:49, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
- Well then, most excellent. :-) Time is standing still on the article at the moment -- so that part is no problem. It was AfD'd as of October 19th, rescued by User:Racconish, and then kept on October 25th. Since then, nothing. There has been no contact with the owners of the store; they got discouraged and left, from what I can tell. This has happened many times before, over the past five years.
- Currently, my goal is to find an editing-partner-in-crime for Racconish, who has some knowledge of the industry, and can help finish up the article Right This Second. ... oh... huh... that policy does not mean what I think it means! ;-) There is no hurry on the content. But if you could, please put the article, and the article-talkpage, into your watchlist.
- There are two purposes here, to help Racconish manage the article, and to get the elusive COI folks to visit the talkpage. At some point, usually every six months or so, the owners/employees of the store will try to add in their press-release material again. At least *one* person there learned how to use a personal-talkpage, back in summer 2013... but they don't have time to read our five bazillion RULZ, so I'd like a chance to give them the five-minute-version instead, if they'll just hold still. Should somebody with seeming-COI difficulties show up, can you ping my talkpage, or post a note on the WP:RETENTION talkpage so one of the other folks can try and talk the Duchamp folks down from the WP:BITE ledge, as it were.
- As for the content, if you have some time for editing-efforts, there are some as-yet-unused sources on the talkpage that Racconish and myself rustled up, that could use inclusion into the article. I'm happy to do some of that work myself, if you can be the stern reviewer that separates the Reliable Sources from the unreliable ones, and corrects my lack-of-industry-know-how gaffes, and such. Thanks much, please ping my talkpage if you like. 74.192.84.101 (talk) 15:12, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries Episode listing changes
Hi! I haven't been part of Wikipedia for YEARS so forgive that I can't log in as I don't even remember my email or anything from way back when lol but just a heads up. I changed the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries Episode listing article back to a previous version because the order of that article apparently was screwed up a few edits ago. Sadly that's all I remember how to do, change back to previous versions or I would have helped fixed whatever else was wrong. Just a heads up so someone can perhaps see what the article is missing now. All I did was return it to the latest version that had the right order so the Reference section went back to the end of the page because, as of the very last edit, it was smack in the middle of the page. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.211.210.68 (talk) 00:29, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for catching that and for letting me know. The only issue with the previous version (the one before that pesky IP came along) is that it contained some copyrighted episode summaries. I've removed the summaries for now, so they can be rewritten. - JuneGloom Talk 01:03, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
Daniel Robinson
I don't know if this counts; but he first appeared in 1992 in ep 1730 as an uncredited baby in a video Charlene made for Madge. Conquistador2k6 12:48 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- If he was uncredited and he only appeared in video footage, I think it would be okay to say his first appearance is in 2014. It will be his first physical appearance at least. If we can find a reliable source, we could always say that he's been mentioned on-screen and appeared briefly in video footage in 1992. - JuneGloom Talk 13:02, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Other than this, http://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=1992&episode=1730, I have zero to go on. :( Conquistador2k6 13:53 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- One of the news outlets might do their research and mention it. The story has attracted a fair bit of attention, even the BBC and The Daily Telegraph reported on it. - JuneGloom Talk 01:45, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

Your edit of the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries article
Hello, re your 7 February 2014, edit of the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries article, I'm wondering what you mean by "Expand on that" and why you removed the related reference? Could you clarify please. Cheers. Melbourne3163 (talk) 01:20, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. I didn't remove the reference, I moved it down. I expanded on the sentence you added to the lead in the body of the article (if that makes sense). - JuneGloom Talk 01:31, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for that, I should have looked more closely. I am just wondering if your paragraph might warrant its own section rather than being attached to Series 2? Just a thought. Melbourne3163 (talk) 02:05, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- That's okay. It could have it's own sub-section actually. I think I saw some more info relating to the situation elsewhere, so it can be expanded upon. - JuneGloom Talk 02:15, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Hope you're well. I was wondering if you would consider removing North Carolina nominations and Screenwriters' Choice Awards from Nebraska's accolades page for non-notability as they don't yet have a separate page on wiki as per WP:INDISCRIMINATE and based on this discussion [[3]]. Screenwriters' Choice Awards are based on votes of users of a screenwriting program which could again question its notability. For Philomena's accolade page, Screenwriters' Choice Award as well. - No problem. Redirects are made for almost every character featured in a list. However, I suspect Pam Coker might not be notable enough for her own article just yet. It might be worth expanding her list entry first. - JuneGloom Talk 18:42, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
Re: Peter
Unfortunately not, he was essentially a plot device for Nicola Charles' exit. Other than his romance with her and the generally lead up to the wedding, there's nothing really that sticks out to me as him being his own character. Conquistador2k6 20:28 27 May 2014 (UTC)

I noticed you're an editor at Ashleigh Brewer and her character on Neighbours, and I just wanted to ask what you think of her as an actress and her joining The Bold and the Beautiful as Ivy Forrester? I looked up a few clips of her acting as Kate Ramsay and she looks like she'll be a refreshing addition to the cast. livelikemusic my talk page! 00:28, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
- I think she's a pretty good actress, so I'm sure she'll do fine on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her Neighbours character got super annoying in the last couple of years that she was around, but I don't think that was Ashleigh's fault. I'll have to watch her debut for sure and see how she does. - JuneGloom Talk 16:31, 28 June 2014 (UTC)

Portsmouth meetup #2
Hello
Thank you for signing up to the first Portsmouth meetup last Sunday, even though it was a shame you didn't make it in the end.
I'm now turning my attention to organising the second meetup. An end of August date seemed to get support from those there, and so I've provisionally scheduled it for Sunday the 31st, avoiding the bank holiday weekend the week before. It was suggested that people might like a visit to a museum in the morning before the pub in the afternoon. I suggest that the Portsmouth 2 talk page on Meta is the best place to organise it, so when you have time please feel free to head on over there and share your thoughts. Please also invite anyone in the area you know or think would like to get involved with organising or attending the museum visit and/or pub. Chris McKenna (WMUK) (talk) 12:55, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- So sorry, I completely missed this. I'm also sorry for missing the meetup, what I had to cancel for was not worth it believe me. The end of the month sounds good to me, as does the visit to a museum. - JuneGloom Talk 01:00, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

Nate Kinski
I don't really understand why you reverted my edit to remove Katya Kinski. She may not have been mentioned in the source, but she is still the full sister of Zeke and Rachel, and therefore a full cousin of Nate. I would assume she was omitted from the article as Zeke and Rachel were on the show for longer and are therefore better known. KP-TheSpectre (talk) 18:49, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

Storylines
Hello there. I have become concerned about some recent edits and the amount of IP attention to updating storylines. But for a long time I have actually considered such sections as not only a hindrance but kinda redundant. When I write a new article there is such a temptation to repeat notable plot. Articles are not meant to sound repetitive are they. So I leave info out. But then I thought to myself, articles are only meant to contain notable information.. so why do I even bother writing storyline sections out. I am the first to preach about articles containing only important information yet I just kept on including a section I barely agreed with because it was deemed acceptable by the community. I cannot do it anymore, call me silly, stupid or down right dreaming - but do you think I should take such a discussion to one of the boards? I need an honest opinion, so if you think I am being insane then please tell me off.Rain the 1 00:57, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hey. I've been wondering the same thing actually. I feel like I spend half my time condensing storylines, as some of the sections are getting quite big and fancrufty. I recently went through Liam Spencer's article and removed 8900+ characters of prose from the storylines section (and it still needs work). I think some editors prioritise storylines over out-of-universe development info. If anything, that's the least important section of an article and certainly doesn't show notability. There's also the problem with repetition as you mentioned. I think some articles, especially the older and more complex characters, would definitely benefit from getting rid of the storylines and concentrating on the development side of things. There's more scope to explain and analyse storylines in the development sections. Some of the recent Holby City articles that we created cover all the notable aspects of the characters and there's barely a storylines section in sight. You're definitely not silly or insane, I think you raise an important point that needs further discussion. - JuneGloom Talk 01:17, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
- I have given it more though since your reply and I am actually going to start a discussion at the Wikiproject to see what everyone else thinks. I agree about the Holby City articles, a great example of not even needing to bother with a storyline section. The W&L articles did not seem incomplete with the absence of the section either. We just might be onto something good here. Perhaps there is still time to be called insane though. As you say, most casual editors who land on here and dedicate their time to over cluttering the storyline section. Ouch.Rain the 1 11:10, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
Hi: First, thanks for reviewing my submission. It appears that you are passing the submission. My question is, why did you use the {{subst:DYKtickAGF}} prefix to your comment, rather than {{subst:DYKtick}}? The former is typically for entries that are perceived as good to go, but based upon assumption of good faith. An example of the use of this would be for an entry in which the links to reliable sources are not hyperlinked in an article. I ask because use of the AGF tick can delay a nomination, but the AGF isn't qualified in your review. Please respond at your convenience. NorthAmerica1000 03:10, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Northamerica1000: Hi. I've always used {{subst:DYKtickAGF}} when the hook is sourced by an offline reference per WP:DYKR. Since I don't have the book, I AGF. I don't think there will be a delay in getting it on the main page, but I'll go back and mention the source is offline in my review, so it's clear. - JuneGloom Talk 15:10, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. Here's the source that's used in the article (which also verifies the hook), from Google Books, but it's an online source that I can plainly read, and it's also hyperlinked in the article: [5]. I'm not worried about it, but perhaps it's not viewable for you. NorthAmerica1000 16:01, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

Hey JuneGloom07, just wanted to check in and see what you've been thinking of The Bold and the Beautiful lately, especially since Ashleigh Brewer joined as Ivy Forrester? livelikemusic my talk page! 01:34, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hey! I'm still watching and I'm definitely enjoying it. I like how there's a cliffhanger at the end of almost every episode, always makes me want to tune in again. Not all the soaps do that, so it's great. I'm really liking Ivy (way more than Ashleigh's Neighbours character) and her potential romance with Liam. I added some casting and reception info, and condensed the storylines, but it needs more development stuff. What are your thoughts about the show right now? - JuneGloom Talk 01:56, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, if there's one thing B&B is good about, it's their cliffhangers at the end of each episode. I can't compare to Ivy to Ashleigh's character on Neighbours, but I've been enjoying her vibe so far; she's giving me the new Steffy Forrester vibe, but much more in a humbling way; I do enjoy her pairing with Liam, too! You did a fantastic job at re-doing his character page. It's already ten times better than it was before! I'm loving the show; I usually go off of it for 3-6 months at the time, but within the past two years, it's really been a riveting soap! livelikemusic my talk page! 02:09, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

Nell
Hey June,
Can i have your advice for Nell's status as a character on Neighbours. She has now been added to the opening credits and in the past that generally means a character is a main on the show. However, other users (AusSoap) seem to think otherwise. I would appreciate your opinion on this one. Cheers. B.Davis2003 (talk) 06:18, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
- When a character is added to the opening credits, it does not automatically mean they are a regular. Neighbours have jumped the gun before on that front, which is why we usually go by the closing credits which get updated quicker and more accurately. On the other hand, young children have almost always been considered regular characters. See Jamie Clarke, Charlie Hoyland, Hannah Martin, etc. Nell's kinda tricky. Personally, I don't really mind where she goes. - JuneGloom Talk 03:08, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

What's your problem?
Every time I edit something you are running behind me reverting it, have I done something to offend you? Why are you doing it? It's getting close to bullying mate. User:Ozzykins97 User talk:Ozzykins97 10:08, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- @Ozzykins97: I can't help it if the pages you edit are on my watch page. I don't have it in for you and I am not bullying you. - JuneGloom Talk 15:31, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- In fact I resent the accusations, since I only undid four edits yesterday because you added the wrong parameter to some infoboxes. I haven't touched any of your other edits for weeks. - JuneGloom Talk 15:48, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- It is unfair to accuse editors following Wikipedia's rules of bullying. Please try and stick to editing rather than thinking it is personal with other editors - who in this case are simply tidying articles and keeping them stable.Rain the 1 23:43, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Tom Nash
Hi,
Just wanted to say, I totally agree with everything you said in your comments regarding the edits on the Tom Nash article.
Personally speaking, I think the BTTB website is the most authoritative 'Home And Away' website on the internet. However, that's neither here nor there because you're right, it's just a fansite.
The only reason I decided to reference the changes I made to that article is because on November 17, I made 8 changes to 8 different 'Home And Away'-related articles and some user decided to revert all 8 articles back to their previous versions.
If it was down to me, I wouldn't have made any references......after all, nobody referenced the material when the original information was added (the incorrect information that I corrected).
So at the risk of it being reverted again, I decided to reference it.
All the best,
Standingfish (talk) 00:33, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- That some user was me. I have undone your edits once again. IMDB can be edited by anyone it is not a reliable source. BTTB is a fansite. We all worked really hard on Home and Away articles a couple of years ago and the aim was to clean them up. I am not doing it to be mean. If you find a reliable source I would be thankful that you corrected a mistake. But you have to understand that you could be anyone trying to mislead readers. You could tweak IMDB and use it as a source. I am not saying you are, but it has happened in the past - which is why it is best to avoid using it. But like I said, I would actually be happy to be proved wrong aslong the article is accurate.Rain the 1 01:20, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

Emmerdale Characters Post 2011
Hiya, as you are quite good at creating pages and adding pictures to them (and I'm not!) I was wondering whether you would update some/ most of the characters Wikipedia pages from Ali Spencer onwards as they still don't have their own page. I still can't figure out how to create one and I don't understand the help page. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.112.212 (talk) 18:12, 30 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for the compliment. I'm not an avid watcher of Emmerdale at the moment, and I don't know if any of the characters particularly appeal to me enough to create an article for them. I'll have a look and a think about it though. In the meantime, the Wikipedia:Article wizard might be of some use to you. - JuneGloom Talk 23:37, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Miranda Series Overview
Hi, I noticed you reverted my extensive edit to the List of Miranda episodes page yesterday. I changed the series overview table at the top of the page as per WP:TVOVERVIEW. You will see this new format on most pages regarding the episodes in a television series. I also changed the colour scheme as the current one appears "dull" and unattractive. My edit was not in the wrong and I'd appreciate it if you could change it back as I seem unable to do so. Thanks.

- You removed sourced content without an explanation. Since there was no edit summary, the edit could easily have been seen as vandalism. In fact you added some unsourced content with the average viewing figures. Could you please provide reliable sources for those, please? The previous colours were also chosen as they were neutral and better for readers with eyesight problems (see WP:ACCESS). - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:47, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
