Have you seen this?
Weather has been really bad up here this week, on Wednesday it snowed all day. I was at work at the time, all our electricity and heating went off for half a day because of the snow. --5 albert square (talk) 14:22, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Wow! I can't believe that Scotland is chillier then Moscow. We've got lovely sunshine down here on the South coast. :) I've been trawling through 2009 Neighbours episodes today, making sure I've got all of the dates correct for the characters who entered the show. I wish the Neighbours episodes website was working, it would make things a lot easier. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:32, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Declan Napier
Hello there. I've made a huge edit to Declan Napier. Do you think I should nominate it for Good article status? Please could you tell me your opinion? Thanks.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 06:07, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, the article is looking great. Good job, I think you should give GA a shot. If you nominate it, I can ask a friend to be the GA reviewer if you like. He's reviewing an article for me at the moment and, hopefully, the work is almost done and it should pass soon. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:51, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- I nominated it. That would be great also as it does take so long waiting for it to go up the list on the nomination page. Glad you like it. I think I might add another image linking to his relationship with Kate or Bridget's pregnancy, as they were so notable.. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:34, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
Aww thanks for doing that, got my first GA article the other day, I've made so many big edits to articles and only just thought of nominating some. Donna would be a good choice to edit as she is deemed a popular character and the actress who plays her is always talking to various news websites about her character and storylines isn't she, so very notable. I hope your article passes too. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:33, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
I'll move my reply from Andrew's talk page here :) Yeah we should notify each other of possible material to add to them. Makes it easier and keeps them up to date. They're already starting to look better than they have ever done because of the work we've all done in the past couple of months, if you don't mind me saying. Lol I'm going to update the images on as many as I can, a lot do have the Channel Ten or Five logo on them which isn't very good on the copyright issue and makes fair use rationales harder to justify their use. I'll get to that now. Congrats on your GA pass for the film article btw. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:01, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, Inglourious was hard work, but we got there in the end. I'm currently in the middle of editing Donna's page, been having lots of fun trimming the storylines section. I was thinking about the images today as someone thoughtfully removed the image from Summer's page. I put it right back, since it shows Marisa Siketa as Summer and when a new image is uploaded it can be moved to the bottom of the box. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:24, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have a image for Donna's page, would you mind if I add it?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:32, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- Not at all, go ahead! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:35, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've still got a few more to go before all the current cast have one. I already have one of Sonya btw, thought it would come in handy for the future, obviously so. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:25, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- If you want to take a sneaky peak at what I'm working on, go here. Please remember that I haven't finished, so expect a few mistakes. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:32, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- Wow! That is exactly what Neighbours needed, just like the British soaps have. It's a big task so you should be proud of yourself having taken it on alone. I don't think I'd of had the patience myself. Lol RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:41, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- There is quite a few articles on Donna over at digitalspy that could asist you with her article. [1] RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:51, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, I saw the EastEnders ones and thought Neighbours needs something like this too. 2010 has been quite easy to do as it's only March, I can catch up quickly. 2009 is a little bit trickier, but I think I've got most of the characters written somewhere. I just need to create their profiles. If you can get a couple of images then the pages will look quite good. I think Saffron Jankievicz should have one (she's coming back next week in Aussie eps), possibly Mia Zannis and India Napier (that'll keep all the Decget fans happy). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:54, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the Donna articles too. I'll have a look through them tomorrow at a better hour. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:57, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. I do use that table sometimes when a article is not available. I remember this one time though when they got the date of Lyn Scully's return date wrong by two weeks!! haha. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:09, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- I hadn't seen it before, I stumbled across it while I was having a look round. I think I've almost finished the two Neighbours cast lists, I'll try and get them uploaded tonight. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:19, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
I know Home and Away's page is a mess isn't it. I used to try and assist with editing the articles but it was pointless, no one really wanted to help other than make them more messy, just going on about storylines, no refs, and my edits were reverted a couple of times. They get deleted on a regular basis as well, like Leah's page has been deleted about 7 times, I even made positive edits once and it got deleted because everyone voted!! :o I hate the orange character box too, just think it's tacky. haha I'm so fussy! But I haven't watched H&A for like two months. .. don't know what happened there, I'm a soap addict though as you might of guessed. Btw Have you seen that Neighbours is getting criticism for it being to teen centered and Lyn Scully has defended the show, lol RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:20, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I don't even watch the show and I want to help out. I left a big note on the talk page, so hopefully some of the regular contributers will want to help out with some of the points I brought up. I found the List of awards and nominations received by Home and Away page (which wasn't even linked to in the main article) and it just contained a list of Logie awards much like the Neighbours one did. I've been working on it for most of the evening. I read the Janet Andrewartha interview on Holy Soap, good on her for defending the show! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:29, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
LOl I have been thinking about doing it for a while, but it such an annoying task. I was so tempted to rid of all of it and re-write myself, but no doubt I'd miss a lot out.... but the bad thing I noticed is that all storylines are written in past tense which is not how fictional characters storylines are meant to be written as it's not real... so I've got to copy edit whats left... haha Then I'll start adding reception, development etc... I felt like I'd brought Paul Robinson's auto-biography. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:44, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- ) I was going to reply about Summer but forgot lol.. I've got a fresh batch of images for some articles too. I'll get to adding them.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:50, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ooh, who have you got? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:12, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- Mia, Karl, Susan, Libby, Dan, Callum, Toadie, Lucas, Lyn. I'll try and find some of past characters. Atleast all the current character have vertical images now without the 'Ten' logo on them. We've kicked the Neighbours articles into better shape haven't we. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 01:42, 16 March 2010 (UTC) Got a load more now to for past characters, adding them atm n today. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 04:50, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah 2007— ... the big — not the - . It's the characters we go by instead of the actors, as it's the character which is the subject of the article.. Glad you like them.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 13:47, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
I made a big edit to Lucy Robinson... I found out something quite odd, she was once compared at oxford union, to a surfboard because apparently she is good for a ride but nothing else!! 1993 the article is dated, quite a find, I didn't think articles went that far back. I also wondered... Do you think there should be a template for past characters, like the one used on past characters of Eastenders? Where it lists them all... RAIN the ONE (Talk) 04:15, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
- Nice work with Lucy Robinson. I've been working on Billy Kennedy, since I found out that his entire article consisted of storylines copied straight from Perfectblend, word for word. I think I'm going to end up editing all the Kennedy's, I've already done Libby, lol. A past characters template would be a good idea, we can also create a list of characters by year too, once I've created enough articles. I'm in two minds at the minute whether to upload the 2009 list with the new infoboxes or the old ones.
- Oh, what I meant about the Declan thing yesterday was on the Current cast page, an editor added 2010 as a departure date for Declan. They think that his recast is the same as Ben, Summer & Andrew, but I've read that Declan doesn't leave the series and then come back with the guy playing him. He just goes upstairs as James, comes down as Erin. So, I think Declan should keep his place in the table and the duration date removed. The others left the series for a while, then came back with new actors. What do you think? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 10:30, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Oh about the Declan thing, leave it yeah. I read that to about him going up stairs and back down as new Declan. About the infoboxes... it's still open, I think the use who flagged the infobox hasn't even been back to check, If you ask me it should be closed... Cleary not enough people objected... How do we go about getting it seen to?? I'll try and find a Billy image too. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 14:00, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Steve McFadden
So he plays India Napier does he?!
Personally the only similarity I can see between the two is the hair, or rather lack of it! That edit to Declan Napier made me laugh! --5 albert square (talk) 00:34, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- I had to do a double take when I saw that edit, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. It was quite funny. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:37, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- It makes a difference from what User: Trueman31 usually posts about Steve McFadden. Trueman 31 is a sockpuppet that usually targets current EastEnders Wikipedia cast pages. On Steve McFadden's page he usually puts that Steve is about to be the next 007! --5 albert square (talk) 01:02, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ha ha! Steve McFadden as James Bond? That I'd like to see. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 01:07, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I expect that Steve would also like that but it's not to be! Besides the Queen Vic can't be without Phil for the length of time it would take to film the movie or someone will end up getting murdered (again) ;) --5 albert square (talk) 01:14, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

No problem :). Thanks very much for the barnstar, good work with your RCP. Keep it up. - Kingpin13 (talk) 14:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Created a page for him now :)
Do you know where we might be able to find out who he's modelled for before? --5 albert square (talk) 15:22, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ha ha, will he be appearing on the Main page next? Not too sure where to find out the details of his modelling career. I did find his showreel though, lol. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:49, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- haha, no, the article at the moment I think is too short for the nomination :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:04, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
This is random, but...
I was wondering if you (and/or Mike and 5 albert square if they're stalking this page!) were up for helping me build The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus up to a potential GA. The framework is there and it's stabilised (I've had it on my watchlist for a few weeks) but I could use your experience from Inglourious- I'm better at writing about people than I am about films, hence I brought the lead actress up to GA a while back. It wouldn't be a big scramble like Inglourious- I won't be nominating it until I'm fairly certain it's GA standard and I'm still working on Sir Mike. Fancy it? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 02:33, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- Btw, I'll try to get round to that review you asked in the next day or two, so you can pass the word along that I've not forgotten. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 02:33, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- Blimey my talk page is getting long, I'm just so popular. Lol! Of course I'll help out with The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Just let me know what you want doing and I'll get on it. Though first I have to change all of the Neighbours character infoboxes, we have a new template. I'll let Rain know about the Declan GA review. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:23, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Neighbours Infobox
Thankyou very much. I just really love Paul Robinson as a character. I just based it off Pauline Fowler. I might pop back to Neighbours articles from time to time.. but I think there are a few non-notable Neighbours characters articles that exist on the mainspace.. what do you think about this? Thanks again. Happy editing. Alex Douglas (talk) 09:35, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- I recently had a go at updating the Paul Robinson article and I believe another editor is about to sort through it. I do agree that some characters have been given individual article, when they don't need them. Characters like Cassandra Freedman (whose article I recently updated) and Jill Ramsay were only recurring for a little while and probably don't need articles. I'm currently working on some List of Neighbours characters by year articles that non-notable/recurring characters can be redirected or moved to. I've only done 2009 & 2010 so far, but I'll get round to the others soon enough. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:12, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- Great. You sound like you've got it all worked out. Good luck. Look forward to the end result. :) Alex Douglas (talk) 02:49, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- We would welcome the help with Paul's article as it needs a lot of work. So, keep your eye out for some good sources. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 10:59, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Hey, sorry about the late reply. It was my birthday yesterday and over the weekend I was away and the likes. Is there still many left to do, I'll help you if it's not too late. :) I prefer the new box, found it easier to resize the images. Oh and we have an issue I think with our articles, your friend who is reviewing Declan pointed it out, perfectblend being used as a reference, it isn't a reliable one is it because it is a fan site, which is a shame because they have had exclusive interviews with cast members before haven't they, I might flag it up on the help desk or something, to try and see if it's okay for cast interviews, because if they conduct the interview themselves, doesn't that make them the primary source and reliable just for things like that. (I had to remove the perfectblend and some Neighbours refs from Declan, i was like 'nooo', but found some press releases on google, so topped the references back up. LOL) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 05:02, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- That's okay, Happy Birthday for yesterday! :) It's not too late to help out with the infoboxes. All the current cast are done and I've been going through List of Neighbours characters and replaced A through to C so far. I wouldn't worry about removing the Perfectblend refs from the other articles at the moment. Unless any more of them get taken to GA, then we can remove them. I agree that they have some great interviews on there. Look -> List of Neighbours characters (2010), uploaded yesterday! I keep discovering new characters that appeared in 2009, so that one isn't quite ready to up yet. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 10:59, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Well I was about to start then saw the nomination for deletion, I proposed 'Keep'. We'll have to see how this pans out. I think that all Neighbours articles are going to be cut through soon, it's already happening looking at Elly Conway, just done a google search and archive search there is nothing on her so she will probally be gone. I think there will be more so I'll try to edit some more today.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:37, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- I was about to come and tell you about the proposed deletion of the template. To be honest, characters like Elly probably should be deleted. I wasn't going to create a List of Neighbours characters for every year, but it's looking like I might have to. 20 years of Neighbours characters? Argh! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:40, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Is there any where on Wiki that can give you help? Some people just like making articles for the fun of it, mind you at the moment were the only ones revamping everything.. I'll edit Harry's now as I know I can pull stuff up for him. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:51, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

- I don't really know, I might take a look. I don't mind creating the lists, but it will take a while before they're all completed. I have to research the characters and find out the dates of when they arrived/departed, what their main storylines were, etc. There is a particular editor, you may know who they are, who seems to have created a lot of the character articles that have been or will be deleted. Hopefully the lists of characters will stop the creation of needless aticles and only regular characters will have their own page. I'm going to have Jill Ramsay and Cassandra Freedman re-directed to List of Neighbours characters (2009) (once I've uploaded it), since they didn't appear for long. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:04, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm so annoyed with Will Moore, like everyone else they have no loyalty to the show, just see it as a foot on the ladder. As viewers we are just meant to keep getting used to hoards of new characters, then they leave after one year. They need 2 years contracts or shown the door at auditions.... oh and I only made big changes to his article today, still though he just made his article a bit more notable, castings refs. What do you think the real reason is for the exit? Hollywood? .. haha. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:23, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
- I thought it was you who posted in the Digital Spy forum, I started the thread. :) It is a shame he's going so soon. I don't think Will is going to Hollywood, maybe college? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:35, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Nomination for deletion of Template:Infobox Neighbours character
Template:Infobox Neighbours character has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Thank you. Magioladitis (talk) 13:20, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- I saw your note on 5asq's talk page about contacting others. I;d advise you to be careful- you don't want to be accused of canvassing. I might weigh in before it closes, but I haven't formed an opinion yet (I'm a little busy atm). Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:20, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I was just thinking that some of the other editors that I've seen around might not have seen that the template is up for deletion, but I've just realised that every character page has a note above the infobox. So, I'll forget that idea. It's fine if you don't form an opinion, as you don't edit character pages regularly I don't really expect you to get involved. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:31, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm torn, because the nominator has a point (do you really need someone's great great great aunt in an infobox?) but it's undoubtedly useful to have a more specific template where possible. There's nothing wrong with contacting other editors as long as it doesn't appear that you're trying to influence the outcome. It's more of a problem in AfD than TfD, though= take this for example. That amused me! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:42, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that something like great great great aunt isn't needed in the template, but surely that can just be taken out? A few editors, myself included, have asked that if the templates are deleted then will the nominators would go round and replace them. Apparentlty there are 300 EastEnders articles that would need to have the boxes replaced. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:00, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

- Yay! I've just seen it, I was about to come and tell you. 25 years, wow! The new opening titles debut today, which probably means we'll need a new image for the main article at some point. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:28, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm keeping an eye on the article today in particular. As it's on the main page it might be subject to some vandalism :(. Meantime *pops open champagne* lol --5 albert square (talk) 00:36, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Neighbours articles keep popping up on the front page these days. Extra publicity lol. We should get the new image as soon as it appears. :P RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:40, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've already reverted the first bit of vandalism, someone changed the names of the theme song composers. Anyway, *lights the candles on the cake*, party time! :D And yes, we should get the new image, *hands Rain a camera*. ;) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:45, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes Neighbours articles do tend to keep popping up on the main page nowadays don't they? Some people go for world domination, lol Neighbours is quite happy with Wikipedia domination! By the way, how many times have Home and Away been mentioned on the front page? --5 albert square (talk) 01:08, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I think the answer to that would be none! Have had a quick look at the new opening titles and I think they're great. It has the names of the characters floating about in the background. The logo hasn't changed yet, so we can keep the one in the main page for now. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:05, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Haha! They are like the early 2000's!!! With all the names and cheesey poses. Are they changing the logo?? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:04, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I really like them. I think the logo is going to change later in the year from I've read. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:06, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Uploaded new background image for Neighbours today. Not sure though if it's worked as I got myself confused and had to upload it about 3 times! --5 albert square (talk) 22:05, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- It has worked! It looks very good. :) I'm having a play around with the cast list page atm, I've just to make sure I don't wreck the tables. Lol. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:23, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Do you know what I've just worked out what was wrong. It wasn't Wikipedia, it was my pc! I had to clear out the cache. **smacks pc over the monitor** lol. I just think that with the background colour it makes the image a lot more interesting than the previous one. I did consider uploading another version of it previously but decided to wait as it was only a few months until the 25th anniversary and knowing my luck I'd end up doing all that and only end up having to do it all again! --5 albert square (talk) 23:14, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Our reverter is back.
I've tried to get them to join in a discussion at Talk: Oliver Barnes to discuss why they don't want some of his relatives included in the infobox but they simply won't join in. Do you know why they don't want this info included? --5 albert square (talk) 20:43, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- You posted there as I was posting this! :p --5 albert square (talk) 20:52, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I was gonna say I just posted a reply on Oliver talk page, lol. I have no idea why this editor is insisting on removing the Robinson family members. Perhaps they just want Oliver's immediate family and not his step family in the box? I wish they would explain their reasons. Btw, someone created a page for Chloe Cammeniti earlier and our reverter was editing it. I redirected to Carmella's page since the page was created and deleted before and Chloe was a baby who appeared for a few months. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:58, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Seriously? Why create a page for a baby!
- By the way I've requested semi-protection of Oliver Barnes to try and stop this strange editing. I doubt very much that we'll get it but if we do then it may well help as a cooling down period. If we don't then maybe the passing admin will have a word with the IP or have some advice for us --5 albert square (talk) 21:12, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I know! I can't understand why the editor created it. I've just seen that the semi-protection of Oliver's page has been declined. We're just going to have to keep an eye on it, I guess. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:37, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- By the way have you seen the new Neighbours credits? I like them! By the way I took a screenshot off Wikipedia before as the background as the logo has changed slightly background-wise. I'll try and upload it to Wikipedia at some stage over the weekend --5 albert square (talk) 22:43, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I love the new credits. I think the logo is going to change sometime this year, but a new pic with the background would look great. Stephanie Scully has been voted Neighbours fans favourite character. Declan Napier was at the bottom, which surprised me. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:05, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Hey, I came across this while looking for new stuff on Lily Cole and thought you might have a use for it. Btw, since you like your arty things, I've been meaning to have a look at developing Michael Landy at some point and I could do with some help since I know sweet FA about art! Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:35, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hey! Thank you for that article, I may have used it already though. Yeah, I'll help you with Landy in anyway I can.
- When I've got Deacon and Paloma Faith out of the way, I want to focus on improving Jack Vettriano and Edmund Leighton (two of my favourite artists). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:18, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- No worries, I just stumbled across it and wondered if you'd seen it. Landy's on my to-do list. I'll probably get round to him in a day or two. I'm still working on and off on Mike Jackson (I managed to get a pic of him from Flickr), Pitt's at FAC atm and I've got Lindsay Lohan at GAN. Oh, and Tim Cross up for A-class! I seem to be rather busy, not to mention the 726 pages I have on my watchlist!! How's Deacon coming along, btw? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:36, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to have a look at Deacon now and see what more I can do. There's a few new sources around since his 2010 Autumn/Winter show in Paris and his new collection launched on the New Look website today (I'm currently deciding what items to buy). There's still a lot of Neighbours articles that need sorting through, but I'm sure myself, 5asq and Rain will get to them eventually. It doesn't help when people create pointless articles about a baby that appeared for a few months in 2008. Btw, could you keep an eye out for an editor removing the German peak chart positions from Paloma Faith's article. I asked an admin if the German charts were okay and he said they were. I've asked the editor why they keep removing them, but haven't had a reply yet. I saw Tim Cross was up for A-class when I went to the WikiProject Military history the other day. I hope he gets it. Bloody hell, 726 pages on your watchlist?! I've only got 65. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:48, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the award thingy!
Hey thanks for the nice message you left me! I do try :-) I woke up to a kind of bad morning so seeing that message helped make me feel much better! Gotta love huggle stomping out those vandals ;-) Evenios (talk) 17:28, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Vandalism
What the heck was all that vandalism on child and writer? Jeeze I've never seen anything like it, my Huggle has been going absolutely crazy! One page I counted took close to 500 reverts all within the space of a few minutes. Oh and thanks for reverting the vandalism on my page! --5 albert square (talk) 19:59, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- I know! I had no idea what was going on, I just kept seeing the same pages getting vandalized over and over again. They were so quick with their edits and creating new accounts. No problem, I thought they might turn to vandalizing talk pages at some point. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:47, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, like I say I have never seen anything like it. I gave up going between the pages eventually because no sooner had I changed page than someone reverted it, so I ended up just camping out on the writer page and reverting it! --5 albert square (talk) 02:28, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Bridget Parker
I'll definitely help you. It's fine about copy from Declan, I was going to do the same haha! I'm sure there is a lot more info out there. I'll do a ref search later. BTW do you know how to get a lock, or a semi-protect? I'm sick of non-registered users editing Hollyoaks pages, thinking Sheree Murphy is playing a character called Tania Verani, when It's Eva she is playing. I actually lost my temper today when some halfwit edited once more, it's every day now. haha! Gosh I'm on wiki too much now. Thanks for adding things to Nicki Minaj and Che'Nelle's articles. :)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 13:53, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you! I was just having a look at Nikki Coghill's article and found two very handy references for Bridget and a couple of other Neighbours character pages. I'm going to have a go at trimming the huge storylines section soon, eek!
- If you're looking for protection of an article, you need to go to WP:RFP. If the edits are happening every day, I would think the page should be protected. That's no problem, I've seen the Nicki Minaj and Che'Nelle articles come up on the Recent changes page with your name next to them, so I thought I'd take a look to see what they're about. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:03, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ahh thankyou. I'll see how it goes. :) Well I have added some to Bridget's article, nothing much in google news archive, the odd thing here and there on normal searches on google, I was quite surprised to see no critical reception of her, as If I'm not mistaken she was quite unpopular with viewers wasn't she? It's a shame we didn't get personality and idetity from her old character profile page on the AU website, that would have been a bonus wouldn't it. lol RAIN the ONE (Talk) 04:15, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- I was surprised too. I know that alot of British viewers didn't like her, but there are a number of 'Decget' fans in Australia who loved her and still miss her. I have found a copy of her character profile from the Neighbours website, do you reckon we can use it? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:11, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- If we do use her character profile, then we can archive the URL and we won't lose it. I'm going to read up about archiving and see if I can do it, then we'll have something for the personality section. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:39, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah we can use it when it's archived. Hope you can pull it off, I sure have no idea how to archive it. haha Plenty of information on it. How did you find it btw? Are there more past character ones? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:04, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've done it! <ref>{{cite web|url=http://neighbours.com.au/904.htm|title=Bridget Parker|publisher=Neighbours.co.au|accessdate=23 March 2010<!-- |archiveurl=http://www.webcitation.org/5oRtsW7rZ|archivedate=23 March 2010 -->}}</ref> I was having a look on the TV Week website and saw a Bing search box, so I just typed in 'Bridget Parker' and it came up. I'll see if I can find some of the other older profiles and get them archived too. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:23, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hey I'd of been more chatty but been away for the day and stuff. Right, glad you got that archived. So that website let's anyone archive a link? You'll have to teach me that one. Lol What shall we do next on Bridget's article? Do you think we can take a bit more from the storylines, I noticed you gave it a much needed bashing down already ... OOOOOOHH and look at this!!! Donna Freedman on ES Wikipedia <-- LMAO 'Character of Home and away'..! Same with declan's spanish page. Who must edit those pages. It just made me laugh a bit, like a new Spanish viewer sits down to see Home and Away thinking these characters are in it lol. A bot is auto-adding the ES templates to the character articles as Spanish user's are creating them, thats how I noticed them btw. Also on Declans ES page, the editor must have thought they were Declan, a line that reads: " At the beginning I knew nothing about his father except that his mother referred to him as the "monster" shortly after it was revealed that his father was Richard Aaronow" and makes a transition into "shortly after I returned with Richard" .. oh dear, oh dear...RAIN the ONE (Talk) 03:59, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, that's okay. You want to have a look at WP:WEBCITE, it was quite easy to use in the end. Web Cite will archive almost any link, I managed to find one that it didn't want to archive for another article though. *Rolls eyes*. I think a little more could be taken from Bridget's storylines. I was trimming and editing them at 1.00 this morning, so god knows what I've done to them. Haha, Donna's Spanish page is funny and a little confusing for their readers, a character of Home and Away and Neighbours? I also see the Holy Soap website has become 'The Holy Soup', but I like the colour used in the infobox. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:33, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
There's nothing else on her right? Do you think it can still go GA without anything, it doesn't look so good lol We normally do so well, but it's definetly one of the better articles for neighbours characters... We should have chosen one of the long term characters maybe? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I was thinking the same thing. Her article looks good now, but there doesn't appear to be anything else to add. The lack of reception section is a problem too. What do you think about Susan Kennedy instead? I've already made a start on her article and she has a reception section! I've been working on a few Neighbours articles this weekend. You should have seen the mess the Stuart Parker article was in. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:26, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oops, forgot to say, though you may have seen, that the infobox discussion ended in a Keep. However, a {{infobox soap character 2}} was later created. Quite a number of Neighbours character articles haven't been changed over yet, so if you spot one, then go ahead and switch them. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:42, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Yeah that's a good idea and Paul Robinson too. Just condensed more, after the last time I took so much out. Had to go through it all and change the tense, some of the storylines may be in past tense knowing me, but I tried my best. You've already condensed Susan's so that's a plus.I haven't really done much on them latley have I. I'll try to do as much as I can though. :) I'm glad the info box passed, but I'm a little confused, is the infobox soap character 2 now being used for the Neighbours articles? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:34, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, Paul would be a good idea to try and get up to GA. There should be some good refs out there and Stefan's given a few interviews recently. Susan's storylines still need to be sorted as some of them are not relevant to her. Yep, the {{infobox soap character 2}} is being used for Neighbours and EastEnders atm, I don't know if the other soaps know about it yet. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:40, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've been thinking. The current character's articles aren't going anywhere anytime soon, but some of the past character's ones need some help. I've had a go at rescuing Christina Alessi, Stuart Parker and Mike Young (that one was a tiny little stub) this weekend. However, I think Charlene Mitchell, Scott Robinson and Mrs Mangel should be at the top of the list of articles that need to rescued. Would you like to take one (or two) and try and help them out? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:59, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Yes, good Idea. I'll see what I can do tomorrow. I'm suprised they have lasted that long already, thought the do gooders would have nominated the lot like with Home and Away character articles. I'm not to good on the really old characters, but for Charlene, there really has to be stuff, Scott too.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 04:23, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've already made a start on Charlene, I gathered some refs in my sandbox and I've just been going through them and adding them slowly to the article. I think we should also add Helen Daniels and Harold Bishop to the list too. I made a start on Harold a while back, but had to stop while I got Inglourious Basterds up to GA. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:02, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Something's bugging me about Nell Worthington. .. It says Nell Mangel, later Worthington. .. It should be Nell Woprthington, Previously Mangel... but then, the issue of everyone thinking who is Nell Worthington? To this day she is called either Mrs. Mangel or Nell Mangel.. She married John Worthington in her exit storyline, but was still touted as Nell Mangel anyway. Should I take the page to Nell Mangel once more, but change the first part of the lead to Eleanor "Nell" Worthington (previously Mangel) ?? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 13:04, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- That was bugging me too, when I saw it. Everyone knows her as Mrs. Mangel, so I think it would be best to move the page again and change the lead to Eleanor "Nell" Worthington (previously Mangel). There's a similar situation at Christina Robinson, she's better known as Christina Alessi and since she is no longer married to Paul her surname would have changed back. I asked about changing it on the talk page, but since no one's replied, I'm just going to move the page. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:44, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- You should move Christina's page, great idea. I moved Nell as you probally noticed. It was hard to find refs for her, I've found a few other sources for some of the other old characters so I'll get to adding them later. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:39, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'll go move it now. You done a great job with Nell, as long as she actually has some references, I think the article will be okay. I've just been sorting the Aaron Livesy article out. The storylines could probably do with another trim, but I think it looks better then it did. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:45, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I haven't been on for a couple of days but I thought I'd check back to see how it's going. When I get here, a user called Acidbrights has been sooo sooo busy. They have completey undone all the work me and another user did last year to Hollyoaks articles. They have come off a fan wiki from what I can gather, changing colours of character info boxes, making new templates for the characters, giving them their own unique colours 'so fans of the soap can find their favourite characters easier'... apparently... not only that he/she has begun uploaded promo images for HO characters stating they will help fans understand what their character looks like because they are more glossy!!! Then making new articles for characters, which I was going to do in the future, but with no references, stating they deserve their own page because they are official characters... anyway, No doubt you have noticed they have turned their attentions to Neighbours and already began a few changes around here, (Which i noticed you reverted.).. but looks like we have a lot more work ahead. LOL I am alopud to discuss this aren't I? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:17, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- I think we're okay to discuss this. I noticed that Acidbrights had made some changes to various Hollyoaks related pages, but since I don't know much about Hollyoaks, I wasn't sure about reverting the edits. I certainly noticed the new infobox colour though! I've asked on the template talk page if the colour can be toned down, since it kinda hurts to look at. Aren't the images supposed to be of a low resolution as they're not free? I might need to read up about that. I would politely talk to them about the changes they've made and mention the work you and the other editor did to the articles, you could also direct them to the Hollyoaks WikiProject talk page to discuss their ideas. Luckily the only Neighbours page they've edited so far, is the current cast list. They mentioned that it didn't look professional enough and began placing the characters in bold and added back all the duration dates. They came back yesterday to make a few more changes, but I didn't revert as it would have been petty. Though they did remove a hidden note and a link, which I had to add back. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:05, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- They did make a good edit where a new template was made featuring all past characters though. I have reverted all the colour changes. I don't see the problem with one universal colour. Tey are meant to be low resolution yes, but I always use screen shots anyway, as it's better than a publicity shot from the official website, which I can see is what Acid is putting into plan atm. Btw, it says you have rollback rights, what's that? :P I want them. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:16, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- Let Acid know about the images as well, so they only upload low resolution shots in the future. I was about to suggest that you request rollback! Lol. Go to WP:ROLL and have a read up on it, then submit your request. Make sure you're familiar with the warning templates at WP:WARN, so when you rollback vandalism you can add the appropriate template to the editor's talk page. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:28, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- I shall do. Also I applied for Rollbacks.. I Don't know how I'd navigate to all these new pages these days without your help. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:37, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
I applied but was turned down, I did however try and ask for a second review on the admins talk page, dunno if that will work. I really gcould have done with it too, vandals are going crazy atm. Then I went over to Acid's page to explain in detail a lot of the issues so that took ages.. anyway, it's taken away from what I was doing earlier, preparing some reception details for various Neighbours characters. Gonna add them soon. And the Barnstar, I wanted to, Your always helping me these days I rarely understand big processes like rollbacks and can never find the right page for WP help sources, lol! Plus we make a good team on the Neighbours articles, right? :p RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:28, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear that, maybe the admin will have another look. I saw your message on Acid's page, must have taken a while to type out. I look forward to seeing your work with the Neighbours reception section. I need to get back to editing the Neighbours articles, I've been a little distracted with 2 GAs and one FLC. Though I did manage to get List of Neighbours characters (2009) uploaded a few weeks ago. I think one of my next tasks is Sunny Lee as there is so much character creation info about her out there. We do make a good team with the Neighbours articles though. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:55, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- So I didn't get it, but I don't mind now. Right I'm being cheeky now lol, could you archive a couple of references? There are three big ones, in which I found those reception details, I've added all the info from the first two, currently adding the info from the third, anyway, I think it would be a good idea to have them saved because they are being used on around a total 30+ of the character articles. See, all three are also slide show type (Not sure weather they're flash, html or java based) webpages, so they have all this text but in different slides, is it possible to webcite it all? Another thing, I just edited Annalise 'Kratz'... should I move it to 'Annalise Hartman', to this day media call her by that name, she married Sam Kratz off screen, also she retains Hartman for professional reasons, apparently. Tell me what you think, I'd put it up for discussion on her or Neighbours talk, but as you stated on your user page, we basically are the equivalent of a would be 'WP Neighbours' LOL. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 02:34, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, I can have a go at archiving the references. The site is down at the moment, but I will have a go a bit later. I would be in favour of moving Annalise's page to 'Hartman', so get clicking on that move button at the top. I'll begin work on the 2008 cast list sometime next week, can you think of any important characters that I may have missed from my list? Oh, have a look at the new Declan. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 10:22, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Simon and Tegan Freedman. They have their own pages, but I don't think there is anything at all for Tegan in terms of notability. This link, [2] is the same URL for all 26 slides, currently being used on 26 character articles. .. This one This one is being used on 9 pages, but for each slide has a unique page ID, same with this one which will be used on around 23 articles when I've finished. I'm not familiar with webcite, you won't have to archive the pages with slightly different urls separately will you?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 13:25, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ah yes, I forgot about Simon and Tegan. They'll need to be re-directed. I probably will need to archive each individual page, if the urls are different. It's not a problem, but I won't be doing them all in the same day! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:36, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oh right, hope it can be saved. If references are added proving notability, won't it stay put anyway? Plus where did Miranda Fergson come from? I didn't remove it because I wasn't sure why it was there, I kinda thought maybe it's her old name. Forgetting about West as her name. I moved Christina Robisnon to Alessi, not realising it was already up for discussion by you on the talk page. I've been editing to much today. :P RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:56, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- We can still edit the page, but try not to draw too much attention to it. Lol. I missed the Miranda Fergson changes, until tonight. They were done by a disruptive editor, just have a look at their history. Don't worry about the Christina Robinson thing, someone noticed it had been re-directed and closed the discussion. I only took it WP:RM because I couldn't move the page via the move button. I was trying to save the history, but it doesn't matter now. You should have seen the vast amounts of storylines I had to trim in the Gail Robinson article earlier. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:05, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Thankyou for the link, there are more interviews with Neighbours' cast than any other soap so that is good. I'm currently working on Riley's article atm, before it goes the same way. Hows the essay?? Lol RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:43, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm so glad they have all those interviews, they must really love Neighbours. I put a list of interviews in my sandbox, so I can cross them off when they are added to an article. You can cross off which ever ones you add too. I haven't started the essay yet, so I'm a little screwed. Lol. On a better note, I now have a featured list to my name. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:55, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oh deary me. The essay should really come first, but you really are a asset to WP, aren't you. :P I'll upload what I've done to Riley's page now.. but it neeeds finishing, I'll do that tomorrow. Found out a bit of casting info for Miranda and Didge too. I'm on the articles this week aren't I!! Haven't watched Neighbours for over two weeks either. Hey there. :) Which sounds better for fictional character articles, something I've been thinking about seeing the two different subheadings. The subheading 'Personality and identity' or 'Characterisation'RAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:30, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey! I think both work, but 'Characterisation' does sound a little more encyclopedic. Btw, would this be of any benefit to the Declan article? I was going to add it myself, then wasn't quite what to do with it. The new guy appears tomorrow, which means the cast list will need a little edit. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:37, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
I added the info from that. Thanks for the advice. Going for Characterisation from now on then. :) Btw, you ages ago how you found Bridget parkers old page from the Neighbours website using bing or something, did you find any more? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:22, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- I haven't found any more pages, I assume that Bridget's just hadn't been deleted yet when I found it. I wish Holy Soap hadn't got rid of their old character profiles. I didn't get round to archiving them in time, except Sunny's. Miranda Parker's is a cached copy from google. I haven't forgotton about archiving all the refs you added to the reception sections, I'll start tonight and try and get them all done by the end of the week. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:27, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Tell a lie, I have Oliver, Elle, Rachel, Rosetta and Frazer's Neighbours profiles and they are now all archived. I had them saved in my favourites file and only just saw them. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:59, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry I didn't notice your messages. :) Right. Well can I take a look at their profiles please, I'd like to add things from them. I tried tweaking the urls for some characters names, but they appear to be deleted from the server, but I do wonder, if you can still view the page from your favourites, wouldn't they still be there. Btw, great news about Rosemary, I'm trilled. She is great, it makes so much sense to as she was always in and out for big occasions. I'd like to see my favourite ever characters return though, Janae and Carmella! I also want Anne and Amy to come back. (They are bringing a couple more back too, aren't they.) Anyway I'll see what I can do for Rosemary's article. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:52, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Right, I've already added some things from Rachel's profile, so you'll find that one in the article. Let me know when you add the other profiles to the right articles and I'll add in the archive urls. Oliver, Elle, Rosetta and Frazer I've archived all of the Virgin Media reception urls and added them to the articles. I've done the Sky one and I'll start doing the MSN ones later on today. You should read the interview with Pete McTighe on Perfectblend, it's so good. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:20, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oh dear. Looks like we were working on the Rosemary's article at the same time, So I just overided all the edits you made in the past hour. It didn't even notify me of an edit conflict though. I'll and undo my edit and merge mine into yours. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:19, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- That was odd, you posted on my talk page at almost the same time as me. I didn't get an edit conflict though. That's okay, as long as you don't delete everything, lol. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:27, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- I repiared it after a few tries, I'll check that interview out now too. Thankyou for archiving the URL's also, that's ensured they are safe for a good while to come. I'm going to hunt for more old profiles. lol RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:21, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Ringo's image is up for deletion, but I think we should let it happen, I'll upload it again with a better fair use, a different file name seeings as it is under 'samclark.jpg', some time after. Just thought I'd let you know. Oh and I tried to revamp Hilary's article, 1 reference. *Shakes head*.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 13:47, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Okay. I saw your work with Hilary's article. Sometimes the lack of sources for Neighbours characters surprises me. I'm having a go at editing Jim Robinson's article at the moment. Malcolm Kennedy is another that needs sorting too, just incase he returns this year. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:21, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
I noticed that too. We're almost in sync with our Neighbours editing over the last few days. Lol I think I might try and sort Elle out, I knew she was aged dramatically, but that low culture source makes note that Elle was born after Sky, yet was older than her on her return.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 17:29, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to sort Beverly Marshall first, since there isn't any info in the article at all. There's an interview with Pippa Black (Elle) at Last Broadcast and one on Perfectblend. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:49, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
I know I've edited it so many times over the last two days, you may notice normally I collect everything together then add it to the article in one go, but Paul's article had so many issues, I'm adding as I go along. Can you remember the storyline length the other month, it was still bad so I chopped it down again, I still think it's long!! Oh and Beverly Marshall is listed as his stepmother, but is she? Jim and Bev divorced, so doesn't it mean she was... Confusing. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:58, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- You could probably get away with trimming some more from the 2004 onwards section. Beverly was his stepmother as his biological mother died when he was young, but I don't suppose she is counted as his stepmother now. I reckon if you remove it though, someone will add it back eventually. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:03, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I don't even know why I'm fretting, It's just a minor detail. I'm getting the want to iron every little thing out, so we can get it GA. Finally found something about his false leg, Finally!! I'll add that now. (Random tidbit, Stefan loves swearing, most interviews I've read he's saying shit, ba*t*rd and so on... so the article is going to contain quite a bit of cursing, if it's permitted Lol)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:21, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ha ha, I can see that coming up in the GA review. "Um, do you think you could find some quotes that are a little less..um..sweary?" Btw, do you mind if I move some of this thread to the bottom of my talk page? It's getting a bit long! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:32, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry
Hi
Just to say, if you ever see anyones page looking the exact same as my talk page or user page can you please report it as a sockpuppet of User:Trueman31? This is a user who vandalises all the pages of the current cast of EastEnders and has been blocked more times than I care to remember. He used to do the same with User:AnemoneProjectors user page and talk page, now it seems that he's decided to switch to mine! --5 albert square (talk) 21:34, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Of course, I'll keep an eye out. That seems like a really weird thing to do. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:40, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! Yeah, a really weird thing to do, I can only assume that it's because when he did it to Anemone the sockpuppet was automatically blocked. Maybe they were trying to fool Wikipedians into thinking they were me? Stupid really because it didn't take the admins long to work out that it really wasn't me, I wouldn't have a clue how to change my username on here lol --5 albert square (talk) 00:44, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, I decided to warn the user first, then you beat me to the removal. :-) Ronhjones (Talk) 00:07, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. I was going to hit the rollback button, but since someone else edited your page I had to remove the edit manually. I went to warn them and found you'd already done it, lol. I think that's twice I've been to your page this evening, you're getting popular. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:13, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- Popular - interesting term! There are plenty of vandals about tonight, this always seems to happen on a Monday lately - maybe there's not a lot on the TV. Ronhjones (Talk) 00:24, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

The Bill is going........ going.......
GONE!! I can't believe it! I've just dropped off a line to Wikinews about it, maybe it'll get a mention on the front page as it's been on-air 27 years but I dunno. I'm certainly nominating it for front page appearance every time I can until it gets axed now. What's the betting someone will vandalise the page tonight? --5 albert square (talk) 12:03, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, that is a shock. I hope it makes it onto the main page, 27 years on air is a long time. I'll keep an eye on the article as well, just in case. I'm quite sad about it even though I stopped watching it a while ago. It's a shame that it never made it to 30 years. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:29, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- It is! I wasn't expecting to see that when I logged on this morning to Wikipedia! When I looked at the article this morning feelings were running quite high on it, people not adhering to WP:NPOV etc. I had to laugh at what I could see of the talk page before, someone posting that there is a rumour that The Bill is being axed? A rumour? Er, try a fact that it's being axed and it's been sitting on The Bill's main page referenced since the wee hours! --5 albert square (talk) 16:46, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Vxxessa Bxxl-Gxxtles
If you see this happening again [3], it's probably simpler to just ask for an immediate block, The user has been trying since last November to add nonsense cast members mostly to Tyler Perry films. Vanessa Bell-Gentles is their signature "cast member" but all their chnges turn out to be bogus anyway. This will be their sixth try I think, using various IPs.
The game seems to be to get the name into as many articles as possible so best to get them stopped quickly because every edit will need to be rollbacked. You can ask me if I'm around, or at WP:AIV (tell them it's a recurring vandal) and if AIV says there aren't enough warnings go to WP:ANI. I don't know why I only blocked for a week last time, I've been using 1 month. Franamax (talk) 17:01, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hi. I noticed that user yesterday and wasn't quite sure what to do with them, which is why I only gave them a warning. I did consider WP:AIV, but wasn't sure any action would be taken as they were not warned enough, like you mentioned. I was unaware that the user had a history of this, but I'll be sure to ask you or another admin for a block if I see similar edits in future. Thank you for your message. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:39, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Paloma Faith
I have recently met Paloma Faith at a concert, and I told her that I have been working on her Wikipedia article, and I asked her if there is anthing she wanted me to do. She replied, "Get rid of the chart positions that are not top 40"
Obviously, I cannot do so on the single/album srticles, but please could I ask you to remove the German chart positions on the discography, thank you.
Jagoperson Jagoperson (talk) 18:19, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hi. First off, how do we know Paloma asked you to you remove the chart positions? And second, Wikipedia reports good facts as well as the bad, it is a fact and there is no reason to remove it. Besides she should be happy that she charted in Germany at all, it could have been worse. I'm also going to ask you to take a look at WP:CONFLICT. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:37, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Because I went to her concert! 13:18, 10 April 2010 (UTC) :P —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jagoperson (talk • contribs)
- Still, we shouldn't be removing facts just because the subject of the article doesn't like them, especially if it's just chart positions. Look at WP:CONFLICT. anemoneprojectors talk 13:26, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey, any chance you'll be on at midnight (UTC [damn the changing clocks!])? If so, I'll kick my contributions to the backlog clearance drive off with Deacon. You're welcome to join in- the aim is to get the backlog back down under 200 but if we can clear it altogether, that would be excellent. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:14, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, I should be around. Thank you! :) I saw the GA backlog elimination drive info the other day, I'll have a think about joining. You couldn't just have a quick look at the refs in List of accolades received by Inglourious Basterds? Just to make sure they look okay and that I haven't messed the publisher/work fields up. I'm going to nominate it for FL, once I've sorted the image problem. Someone found me this image of Christoph Waltz at the Oscars. I figure since he's won the majority of the awards, a picture of him would be fine. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:30, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- Jolly good! You should join up. You can always request a second opinion if you're not sure or just ask me and I'll double check it. Now, to your FLC, you'll have problems with the image until someone at OTRS can verify that you have permission to use it, since it's tagged as non commercial on Flickr, but you could try asking (or begging!) the author to change it. I'll have a look at the rest of the article and see if I can be of use! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:46, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- The prose will probably throw up a few problems too, though I did go through it earlier and change some of the wording. There were too many 'the film received'. How about this image of Waltz or even the one of the film's producer and two of it's stars? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:55, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- Pish Posh! Prose! What do you think I spent 2 months doing for Blue on Brad Pitt? Or, for that matter, how I got my first ever barnstar and GA credit? I like the last image. I don't suppose there's a useful one of Quentin knocking around? If you can cram 2 or 3 images in (without making it look untidy) then so much the better but my favourite so far is RothLaurentBenderIBAug09.jpg. I'm not at all familiar with FLC (FAC, yes, but not FLC) but I can copyedit and I'll do whatever else I can that's useful. It'll have to wait til the morning though. My prose (or rather my brain) goes to shit after midninght! It took me 4 attempts to deliver an ITN credit last night and that just requires copying and pasting! Have you given any thought to joining the merry band of GA reviewers? Best thing you can do is sign up and just pick an article that interests you. Even if you only review one, the nominator will appreciate it! Btw, I offered my thoughts at WT:GAN. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:20, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

- There's this Quentin image, but I think I favour the same image as you now. I could always ask someone to upload a screenshot of the cast winning an award, like the Avatar folks have done (that list is also up for Fl). I have no idea how to put two images in the infobox. I saw your reply at GAN, I added some thing new that might be of some interest. I'm not sure about signing up for the GA review drive yet. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:38, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
Ramsay family tree
Hey JG! Would you mind if I tidied up your Ramsay family tree image? :) anemoneprojectors talk 22:40, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- Go for it! I was going to come and ask you for your help in creating a Kennedy family tree at some point. The family recently celebrated their 15th anniversary in the show and I've got enough info and refs to create an article on them, but their family tree is so confusing to create. Here's an example from Perfectblend.net. Susan Smith married Karl Kennedy, divorced him, married Alex Kinski, was widowed, then remarried Karl. How do I go about displaying that in the tree? Why are soap families so complicated?! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:49, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- In EastEnders, Ricky and Bianca remarried after divorcing, as did Bradley and Stacey, but neither of them married in between. I just put them as married, so looking at the image wouldn't show they had previously divorced. But I'm sure in the GenoPro guide there's a way to show remarriage. The Branning family tree is quite complicated with Carol having children with four fathers! So I'm sure I could do a decent Kennedy tree. anemoneprojectors talk 23:01, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've done the Ramsay tree (I'd already done it when I asked so just needed to upload), let me know if I made any errors, since I'm not familiar with the show and might have made a mistake when copying it from yours. anemoneprojectors talk 23:03, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry but Kyle Canning? I had to look twice when I read that! Bet it's been an April Fool that someone fell for! --5 albert square (talk) 23:17, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Besides it's not just EastEnders pages that this person has targeted, with Trueman 31 it is normally only EastEnders pages he targets. Still the edit did make me laugh, it was so unbelivable --5 albert square (talk) 21:53, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

They vandalised the Neighbours article and then came and vandalised my User page. Once they were blocked they left this edit on their talk page and a few minutes later a "new" vandal turned up. I'm currently trying to bring Lindsay Lohan up to to GA but it's mostly tedious fixing of references (ugh!). It's not difficult, but going through 184 references and changing "publisher" to "work" and other things like that is incredibly time consuming! >:( HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:07, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

- I'm having the same problem with Lindsay- I can just about write in the American style, but I slip up every now and then, especially when I'm tired! I would assume, with it being an American film, you;d have to put those horrible "z"s in and take all the "u"s out of words ending in -our etc! lol! Oh, btw, Brad, there are massive variations of English within the Commonwealth- the Aussies have a different variation, as does South Africa etc etc (though, where I'm from it can change from one street to the next! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:42, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- I have no idea, sorry! I think I expanded the info that was already there using a similar style to the Avatar and Precious lists as they were both nominated for FLC too. Since the film is American, I'm guessing the article should probably be in American style too. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:44, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- True, but the Commonwealth is usually consistent about dates, which is the problem June's article has. The only word I see that changes spelling is American style, which is likely what I'd put the article in, as well. I'm having the same problem over on Anna Kozlova and it's a mess I made for myself! (Yes, I default to British spellings and dates unless I really think about it) I wrote Kozlova with Commonwealth dates, but since she ended her career in the U.S., and I have no idea about Soviet date formats, I've got to switch it over before even considering a GA nomination for it. This is the sound of me banging my head against the wall... Bradjamesbrown (talk) 23:49, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- WRT Inglorious, I'll try and refactor as many as I can. I've got a couple more naggling concerns, but I'll get those on the FLC page eventually and give your orange bar a rest. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 23:59, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help and for giving my orange bar a rest, it needs it after tonight. Neighbours
Sorry, I was trying to make the article more professional, as it doesn't really look it, I only want too help, and I'm sorry I changed it.
I am sorry, I was just trying to make the article look more professional.
- It's okay, I know you want to help. The Neighbours cast list has been edited to look like most other soap opera cast lists, ie EastEnders and Emmerdale. The Neighbours duration dates were removed as they are included in the character articles (which was an idea I stole from the EastEnders one). Some cast lists still include them, but that's their preference. If you're interested in editing and helping out with Soap Opera articles, you might want to join the WikiProject dedicated to them, WP:SOAPS. Or if you interested in one particular Soap, have a look at the list and see if it has it's own WP. Oh, you forgot to sign your post(s). Just use the four tildes (~~~~) when you finish typing and that'll produce your signature, the time and date. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:03, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

- Hmm, another stalker? :P - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:18, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- When you see a section header called "Oi!" in your watchlist, it draws attention! Bradjamesbrown (talk) 23:21, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- Stalk stalk stalk. And feel free to stalk my edit count too :) anemoneprojectors talk 23:29, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well since you offered... trouble is your edit count's too high so I can't do any real stalking! Over 70% of your edits to the mainspace, though, that's impressive! Brad, if your jealous that June gets my attention I love both of you equally :P besides, you've already created yours so I can stalk you unimpeded by the stupid new Toolserver rules! June, I was just curious as to how active you'd been and for how long. I am now enlightened. At least until I decide to stalk you again! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:30, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- Were you hoping to see what articles people edit the most? I want to see mine but I've made too many edits :( p.s. sorry JG for using your page to talk to HJ! anemoneprojectors talk 00:44, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- That's exactly the situation I'm in, just too many edits. Somewhat on-topic, I'm surprised at June's concentration of edits. 300 edits to a single article is quite a lot. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 00:48, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- 300? Which article is that? Anemone, I don't mind you using my page to talk to HJ or anyone else. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:52, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- Neighbours. Good thing it's GA, as much work as has gone into it! Bradjamesbrown (talk) 00:55, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, I had no idea I'd made that many edits to Neighbours. I thought Inglourious Basterds was at the top of the list with 182 edits. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 01:00, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- (edit conflict)Courtesy of your friendly neighbourhood stalker (or GA reviewer, whichever takes my fancy!). Anemone, I was curious about yours because I don't think I've ever seen you edit an article on my watchlist and I have a massive watchlist. I just looked at your user page history to see how many stalkers you have (64!) and couldn't help but notice your vandals are no more mature than mine! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:02, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- OK, this is going to sound even more stalker-ish, but I promise it's nothing sinister. Could you enable your email (just enter your email address in special:preferences) and all will be revealed ;) 23:45, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- You were curious about my contributions? Actually, I don't recall ever seeing you edit something on my watchlist! I now have 5,399 pages on my watchlist, including every EastEnders page including all the images and redirects and categories... 64 people watch my userpage? Hmm that's not many, is it? anemoneprojectors talk 00:14, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Evidently our editing doesn't overlap except for this page and 5 albert square's! 5399?!?! Bloody hell. I've got about 400 on mine, though I cleared it out recently- pretty actresses, problem BLPs and a few other random things, plus AN, ANI, ITN/C and a few interesting talk pages. 64 ain't bad, though it's relatively low for an admin. I've got 56, though I could only identify about a dozen of them! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:23, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hehe that's strange. 5399, yes. I desperately need to cut it down, but it takes so long to load the page. I'm sure lots of them are deleted pages, or old deletion discussions. But I think it's mostly redirects that never get edited. Plus, pretty much every user talk I've ever posted on. I reckon it's userpages and redirects that make up the majority of my watchlist (excluding 1,928 EastEnders pages)! (p.s. what would happen if we kept replying and didn't undent? :) anemoneprojectors talk 00:29, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yikes, and I thought with 1,298 my watchlist was getting insanely long. I clean out the IP talk pages every week or so, and just pruned most of the registered user accounts as well- mostly blocked vandalism-only accounts. (it was well over 3,000.) Some what on topic, outside of ITN/C, neither of you ever show up on my watchlist either, and outside of Giles Deacon, neither does June. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 00:33, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- You show up on mine occasionally, but usually with Huggle. It's handy having a long watchlist- I accidentally stumbled across a page-move vandal earlier. How far can can we indent this thread? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:39, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Looking at my numbers, with 21,500+ article edits, I've only edited two articles more than 40 times. (One of which is about a movie I've never seen(?)) Not surprising that I usually show up on watchlists while watching for vandalism. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 00:52, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, nearly 700 of my edits can be accounted for from just 3 articles- 2 are GA and one's a GAN and #4 is FA. Not bad really. Brad, remind me to mention that in my RfA! ;) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:03, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- (double edit conflict!) Well, I'm down to 5,189 now. There were lots of discussion pages and deleted navbox templates. I didn't even start on user pages but I still have all the Trueman31 and Ln of x sockpuppets on my watchlist, I think I'll remove all the IPs too. Any article that I don't need to watchlist anymore, I can remove if it pops up on my watchlist again! Hmm, I never even heard of you, Bradjamesbrown, before today :) Poor June, we're abusing her page! anemoneprojectors talk 01:04, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

- Oh well, she won't realise til the morning! That's in BST for your benefit, Brad! Anemone, do you know you can use "edit raw watchlist" to remove pages en-masse? It's much quicker than pruning it by ticking the boxes! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:09, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

But the pores are usually underneath so the spores can disperse. Hmm, maybe we should undent now. - Ooh, that looks like it Anemone. It's nice to have it identified, so I can upload it to Commons one day. You've given me an idea though. I have a couple of birds I'd like identifying on Flickr, so I'll go and have a look for an "ID these birds please" group. Thank you and thank you HJ for the link. Btw, somewhere up above I replied to you. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:47, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- But don't take my word for it, I could still be wrong. I don't upload many of my images to Commons, most of them have been uploaded by others because I use a compatible licence on Flickr purely for that purpose, though I did upload one flower so I could include it in an article about the species I'm writing in my userspace! (I didn't like the existing pictures on Commons, plus that way it's all my own work.) I take it the birds you want ID'd aren't British species! anemoneprojectors talk 22:01, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'll add the Fungi to Flickr later then and ask around, see if anyone else thinks the same as you. I doubt this bird and this one are British, but this one could be. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:08, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

- Don't mind me butting in here, but I actually have something useful to say this time! Have you unified your account (either of you). If not, you should go to meta:Help:Unified_login#How_to_unify_your_accounts so that all your contributions on Commons, Wikinews or wherever are attributed to the same person (it also saves anyone from pinching your username on another wiki). - June, yes I have seen him live. Twice in fact. Once in 2007 when he took the Waiting Room over to Edinburgh and once in 2008. Met him both times as well, he's really nice. I was going to go and see him last year too but I was going to have to travel down south for it as he wasn't coming up to Scotland and I just couldn't get the time off work as it was decided to switch off analogue TV then for most of the UK and I had to help deal with calls on the matter! --5 albert square (talk) 17:02, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

GAN backlog elimination drive - 1 week to go
First off, on behalf of myself and my co-coordinator Wizardman, I would like to thank you for the efforts that you have made so far in this GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a success, and that is thanks to you. See this Signpost article about what this drive has achieved so far.
We're currently heading into the final week of the drive. At this time, if you have any GANs on review or on hold, you should be finishing off those reviews. Right now, we have more GANs on review or on hold than we do unreviewed. If you're going to start a GA review, please do so now so you can complete it by the end of the month and so that the nominator has a full 7-day window to address any concerns. See you at the finish! |

- You would have seen it, lol. I really didn't mean to rollback myself. While you're here, how's your FLC going? :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 10:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- Just like yours- cautious optimism; I've taken care of everything presented, it just needs more reviews. It's been strange; back when I was in uni, my professors criticised my writing for too many commas, the FLC has had me add more commas! Bradjamesbrown (talk) 10:29, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- I wouldn't worry, I rolled myself back on WP:GAN earlier but didn't realise til after I hit the button that I'd made 2 edits in a row! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:55, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- The sad thing is that wasn't the first time I've clicked rollback by mistake. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:04, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

For putting a ton of work into List of accolades received by Inglourious Basterds. It's one of those articles that won't get read every often, but still should be of high quality. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:39, 30 April 2010 (UTC) |
- What's your next project? Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:39, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Aw, thank you! I have a few projects lined up. There are a few articles I want to get up to GA status and maybe try and get another FL at some point. My first priority is Neighbours though. I need to create and upload some character lists, plus I have nearly 30 interviews to sort through and add to character pages. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:29, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Eh, Australian soap operas! Not my cup of tea at all. Though if you decide to FL another of these "List of accolades..." I'd love to help out from the beginning- would be fun. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 12:42, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I was thinking about getting List of accolades received by The Hurt Locker up to FL. The tables need to be sorted out (but for some strange reason I really enjoy doing that). Some awards ceremonies are missing, like the BAFTAs, but they won't be hard to find and reference. The image needs to go as it's not free and licensed to be used in the article. I think a free one of the director can be found though. The prose needs to be re-written, the info about the director being the first woman to win the 'Best Director' Oscar isn't mentioned anywhere. Finally, the references really need to be sorted out. So, how about it? :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:07, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Even better, I just noticed we have pictures of Bigelow from the 2010 Oscar ceremony itself. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 13:49, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Perfect! It's halfway done, so we're not working from scratch, but the referencing is a total mess, we do have a free image of Kathryn Bigelow as well as actor Jeremy Renner, so we can work on it. I'll start cleaning up the referencing this afternoon. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 13:25, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent! I'll remove the other image now and get working on putting the four tables into one (and making them the same size). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:54, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Great. I'll get to the referencing work this afternoon, after you're done. (Otherwise we'd accomplish nothing but step on each other's toes.) Bradjamesbrown (talk) 14:02, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, in the meantime you can fix the one Dablink we have if you like. We also have one dead link, but I'll fix it as I go through the tables. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:10, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- I was wrong, the BAFTAs are listed. Well, that's one less thing to worry about then. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:18, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Good- and good for you taking care of all the tables- table syntax is probibly the aspect of wiki code I know the least about. Dab link fixed, by the way. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 14:27, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- The tables are a bit of a mess. I need to alphabetize them and then find the dates of all the ceremonies. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:31, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I understand the desire to break them out by type of award, but that just complicates matters. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 15:49, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- How about this: I copy the entire list to a sandbox in my userspace, and you move your alphabetised list out into article space, and anything we can source over the enxt couple weeks we re-add to the articlespace list? Bradjamesbrown (talk) 20:30, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, sounds good. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:35, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- User:Bradjamesbrown/Hurt Locker There we go. We can remove things from there as they are sourced and added back to the article. (I just copied everything. Once the new list is "live", I'll start pruning what is already sourced.) The final count for the infobox will just have to wait until we're finished. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 20:40, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Okay. Btw, those 'Golden Schmoes' awards can go. I asked WikiProject:Films about them when I was editing the Inglourious list and was told to remove them. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:55, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just looked up the discussion at WT:FILM and I concur, there's no need for them. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 21:01, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Obviously I meant Wikipedia:WikiProject Films, but you found it. I've mostly finished the table, but I can't find dates or references for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and the Seattle International Film Festival. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:29, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your participation in the April 2010 GAN backlog elimination drive
On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, I'd like to especially thank you for your efforts over this past month's GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a complete success, which hopefully results in more expedient good article reviews, increasing users' confidence in the good article nomination processes. Even if you made just a small contribution, it still helped contribute to the success of this drive. Here is what we have accomplished this last month in this drive.
For those who have accomplished certain objectives in the drive, awards will be coming shortly. Again, thank you for your help in the drive, and I hope you continue to help review GA nominations and overall improve the quality of articles here on Wikipedia. |

Erin Mullally
Aw crap! So James Sorenson's departure is starting to loom for UK screens then as we're only about 6-8 weeks behind Australia :( --5 albert square (talk) 22:00, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- I know, even I thought there was a little more time before Declan switched heads. Here's a picture of Erin as Declan if you want to see. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:07, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- I like the caption "having successfully driven a wedge between Paul and Declan". Er, he is Declan!
- I also just managed to get myself totally lost in WP:AIV! I went to that link but it redirected to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism/TB2 but I didn't realise. Anyway, noticed there was a duplicate entry between Cluebot and another IP so I went to remove Cluebots entry as his was the last. Removed it then realised that the IPs entry had also gone! Went to the users talk page, realised he hadn't been blocked so went back to WP:AIV to reinsert Cluebots entry. Only this time the page wasn't redirected but of course when I went to the page history I couldn't see any entry from me! It took me two or three minutes to realise what had happened and even then only once I looked back through my contributions. I really don't like it when Wikipedia confuse me, I'm perfectly capable of doing that all by myself, don't need their help in that area! --5 albert square (talk) 22:23, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

- Omg, that's hilarious! They really should move the timeslot, so we can see Karl waving a gun around Ramsay Street. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:27, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Haha, that's really cheered me up today! I think that it was Digital Spy that put a note under the video on their website saying that no animals were harmed during the making of the video! I bet Audrey's glad! --5 albert square (talk) 23:07, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Hurt Locker
Hey, June, sorry this has been such slow going in getting this done. I hope to have everything done before I come visit our side of the world Friday, though. (So that we could perhaps put it up for FLC after I get back). Bradjamesbrown (talk) 23:04, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- That's okay. I've been a little busy with a few things, but I found the ref for the extra awards at the Venice film festival tonight and thought I'd add it in. I'm just going to add a bit more info to the lead as well. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:15, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, the lede still needs a decent amount of work. (You're seeing the sub-optimal way I write articles- throw a hundred refs at it, and then worry about the prose!) The lede, in my opinion, says "The film" too often, and may also need a general fact check- I removed an instance of it talking about Precious as if that was what the article was about earlier this week. Ill finish the referencing tomorrow and then take a long, hard look over the lede. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 23:27, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- I've added some info about the films box office performance, like Inglourious. Feel free to change whatever you want. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:35, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, only thing in the table I can't cite is the Black Reel Awards; Vancouver and Chlotrudis are now cited. If we have to lose the Black Reel Awards, I'm not seeing it as a major loss; it doesn't make much of an internet presence at all. I want to spend a day doing a general check when I get back to make sure all the refs actually back up everything that is there- nominations and wins... and not wins, if possible. Now, more difficult than that article is getting this John Denver song out of my head! Talk to you next week. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 04:24, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- I've got the Black Reel Awards ref, will add it now. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:32, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- Good, good. I'm pretty skeptical about the claim that Hurt Locker appeared on "over 200 top-ten lists". Have you seen anything that would back that up, because I haven't. Bradjamesbrown is travelling (Talk to my master) 21:13, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- I haven't seen anything backing it up and I don't really fancy trying to look through 200 top-ten films lists either to see if it's true. I think we should just name a few lists that the film appears on instead. Are you having fun travelling? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:24, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- I completely concur, if you look on my subpage for this project, there are a few of the top ten lists there and cited we can work in. I'm not necessarily skeptical of the 200 claim, I;m not finding anything even close to a strong enough source to back up such a claim- because I am NOT adding 200 citations after that fact to back it up! Fun? I'm sitting in Heathrow airport sipping a 1999 Champagne that BA is paying for... what's not to love? (Well, the fact that I'm not carrying a laptop, so once I board the flight out of LHR, I'll be out of reach until next Friday back at LHR.) Bradjamesbrown is travelling (Talk to my master) 09:52, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- What timeline are you thinking about an FLC for this? I think it needs a couple hours of due dilligance verifying that every nomination, win, and loss is covered by the citations, which I'll get ot tomorrow, but the prose is looking decent, and I'm beginning to think we can put it up early next week and just deal with objections as they come. Thoughts? Bradjamesbrown is travelling (Talk to my master) 08:33, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm happy for it to be nominated next week. I believe all the number are now correct in the infobox, though please have a look over them to make sure. Did you see that our friend came back and removed the MTV Movie awards from the table without giving a reason why? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:07, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Interesting. The Hurt Locker is no longer up for any MTV awards and Inglourious is only up for one. Maybe those were only the first nominations and they've now cut them down? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:20, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Huh. That's... odd. I'm going to go spend some time working on the list, and doublechecking everything, and maybe see if I can find out what is happening with MTV. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 21:09, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, June, I'm thinking this is ready to be nominated. If you concur, we can nominate it this evening. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 02:18, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. I've just been over and edited the lead a little, I added a bit of info about Bigelow being the first woman to win a Best Director Oscar. I also removed the MTV awards, since the film is no longer nominated. So, I think it's ready to go. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:43, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

...Is the vandalism just insane today? I've blocked 18 vandals and protected 11 pages today and every time I go to AIV or RPP, it's backed up! I've spent most of my on-wiki time at ITN though. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:12, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. Yes, I've noticed a fair bit of vandalism around today. Not that I've doing much about it though, too busy sorting some articles out. I was gonna come by your page at some point and say hi. How are you? Are you enjoying your new job? Have you voted? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:19, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- No- I'm 300 miles away from where I'm registered and the stupid website wouldn't let me register for a postal vote >:(. It's been mad! I've never seen 15 reports in AIV at the same time and every time it was cleared out, there was a new wave of reports. Pesky vandals. Why can't they find anything better to do? I'm liking the admin job, though I'm lacking sleep- a president would die just as the only admin at ITN is about to go to bed! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:42, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Why don't you find someone else and nominate them? ITN admins do seem heavily EU/NA in time zone coverage. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 20:54, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey Brad, congratulations. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:08, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Any time you're feeling masochistic Brad... :) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:14, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Do you like my big notice? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:33, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I do. If I had come to vandalise the article, it would have made me think twice. I reckon you're gonna have to semi-protect it at some point though. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:40, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I just summarily blocked someone for defying it. I'm really hoping I can leave it open- there are quite a few constructive edits coming from new/unregistered editors and I think it would be a victory for WP. This mop ain't half useful! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:52, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- June, thanks, it was nice to have that closed before I left- I know HJ had said he'd watch it, and I trust him, but I still not leaving anything open. (It's why I haven't opened any GA reviews for the last week or so.) HJ, I've been thinking about it since that thread on my talk page last month- I would find good uses for the tools, even if ti would just be to take care of all my AIV reports myself.
