Paul Robinson
Yeah, it's better if we make a new thread. The previous one could have it's own archive. Lol I can't understand why WP isn't notifying me of edit conflicts any more, yet again it's happened. So I clicked edit, before you made your 'edit and trim' changes, now it's canceled out what you did again. We will have to draw up a rota of allocated editing slots on the Robinson's pages at this rate. Haha (Don't suppose you could copy it back into the article, as I just tried, but I nearly messed it up like I did with Rosemary's the last time it didn't warn me.)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:12, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think I'll archive the other thread in a minute. I'll move the Robinson related stuff down to here though, so it's all in one place. I'll have a go at restoring my edit to Paul's page now, but don't worry about it being gone, it wasn't that important. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:17, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, you're okay. Your edit didn't remove anything. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:20, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Could I have a link for AU Pace episodes you watch on youtube? Can't find a Declan image otherwise, had a look and could not find any video with him in. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:51, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- I don't watch the Oz paced episodes on YouTube, I download and watch them from a seperate site. I see what you mean about the lack of "new Declan" videos, I guess I could give it a go. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:11, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, forget that idea. I have no clue what I'm doing, lol. I have two Declan images that I can send to you somehow or I can send you an invite to the site I use and you can download some Oz paced Neighbours. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:41, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Well you can send me the images, maybe on Photobucket or Imageshack... :) I'd like an invite to the site though. :D Did you know Susan Bower has declined an interview with DigitalSpy for their 2010 producer season!!! She's such a tool! IMO She ruined Neighbours, a show I watched since I was a kid, these days hardly watch. I want oz pace, just because of Rosemary really, I can't wait for that (They always used to be on youtube, but I guess the demandFIVE feature put an end to that). I found a old VHS the other day from 95, I'd of been five years old, old memories of Neighbours much! I must have been such a boring child. LOL RAIN the ONE (Talk) 02:34, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- How would you go about this then?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 19:42, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry for the late reply. I've been busy sorting out Henry Ramsay, updating various other Neighbours articles and watching the news. Susan Bower has given an interview to Perfectblend, but they don't want to release it, because another neighbours site will use it and not give them the credit. If you look to your left of your screen there should be an "E-mail this user" link, click on that and send me your email address and I'll send you an invite to the site, plus a link to my photobucket page. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:07, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- I couldn't find a link, I'll just post then remove it. :) I'll upload the the picture right away when I get it. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:48, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Got it, I'll send you an email now. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:50, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks for that, I joined sucsessfully, now I'll upload the pic.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:53, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Thankyou for that. :) I thought I'd crack on with Elle at the time as Paul's. I included info from her official character profile so you can add the archive link, I also used the other two references. I was happy though, that I managed to chop Elle's storylines down pretty quickly, there really was so much crap written in there about other character's storylines.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:23, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll add it in a minute. Digital Spy has some info on Pippa's departure, btw. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:28, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, they really did go out to insult certain characters. Plenty of reception info, 20 characters... oh god! Lol I'll add them over the next few days, could you archive the two low culture articles we're using? They're both reception goldmines.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:22, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- They did, didn't they? Lol. I'll archive them as soon as Web Cite is back up (they're always doing maintenance when I want to use it). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:27, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Aha! Thanks for doing that. I've been having a look through them earlier, in all there around 100 different characters mentioned for all soaps, I'll be adding them for Corrie and Hollyoaks too. I'll do Neighbours firstly though. She is great, she hasn't been as active latley though so I left a comment demanding more. Just added Harold's mention. I'll get Elle, Paul and Rebecca now.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:00, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
I added a photo of Sunny. I did notice in the development it says "This was Neighbours' second same-sex storyline following a kiss between Lana Crawford (Bridget Neval) and Sky Mangel (Stephanie McIntosh) in 2004", does that take into account Pepper and Rosie? I can't figure out if it means, like 'being the second since Sky and Lana, being the first of three' or just 'second in total', if you understand. I'd like to say though you've done a great job on the article so far, you've been wanting to do it for ages haven't you, were you a fan of hers? Digitalspy forum users saw her as Bridget mark two! :P RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:02, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the image and the compliment on the article! I thought the Pepper and Rosie kiss was the second same-sex kiss too, but it hasn't been mentioned in any of the news stories. I think the Sunny and Donna kiss only attracted attention because it was screened a couple of weeks after Home and Away's storyline. When she first arrived I wasn't keen on her, but she really grew on me. I'm so lucky I managed to archive her Holy Soap profile before they deleted it. When Web Cite is back up, I'll hopefully be able to add some info to the article from it. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:39, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
It was something like that with Bridget, yes. You thinking about nominating it? I haven't really been editing Neighbours articles much over the last few days, been working loads on Becky McDonald and nominated it for GA. But I'm back now lol.. (I noticed that some EE articles have a nice introduction about what the serial is about in their GA's, so I used that for Becky, maybe we should think one up for Neighbours characters :D ....)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:58, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
- I was thinking about nominating it because I'd found a new source for some reception details, but I couldn't find anything for Bridget. I don't know if it's ready to go to GA or not, with it's small reception section. I got some new details for Sunny though, so once I sort the characterisation and storylines sections out, I think I'll nominate that article. I was trying to work out if I could add her relationship with Zeke and the Robin storyline to her character development section, but I think I've kinda given up on that idea. I think Paul Robinson has a small intro in his lead section about the show. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:09, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Just looked at Sunny's article again, I'd say it's nearly ready, what would you have done with out good old ruth deller! You've worked really hard on it lately aswell. (Couldn't you find any sources for Zeke and Robin?) In the other news, if Ringo gets deleted I bet the others would go the same way, after all the time I spent hunting for them!RAIN the ONE (Talk) 02:28, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
Is it 'Hany Lee' or 'Hany Lee Choi' who plays Sunny? I tried to find you refs, but couldn't find any about Zeke, I found reception info for the kiss... Defamer, they talk about the kiss, slamming the plot and then TV Guide.co.uk brand it a copycat storyline, then Storyline reception in first paragraph. RANDOM: multicultral issues, 1, 2 and 3 Not sure if the last three are of any help, I did look through quite a lot of refs but alls say is what has been said in the article already. (I swear half the entertainment reporting websites just do a quick copy and paste job on the same stories...)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:04, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! She goes by Hany Lee, but I think her full name is Hany Lee Choi (I don't really get Korean names!). I think I've pretty much been through the whole of Google looking for refs. I just really wish I had archived her Neighbours profile, but I did find two videos about Sunny and Hany on the official site that I've used. Only Australian's can watch them, but they've been uploaded to YouTube, so I've managed to get some info out of them. I've got a couple of things for a 'relationships' section that I'm working on now, Zeke's Neighbours profile was a help. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:46, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Could you have a look at this? I'm thinking about putting some of the info into characterisation instead of a relationships section. What do you think? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:51, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- That looks fine to me, you could. It looks good enough for the relationship section it's self though, enough info in there after all. Why has someone edited Sunny's image, messing with the contrast?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:28, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll add the relationship section and see what happens at the review. I didn't notice the new contrast in Sunny's image, but Ned Parker's is awful. Plus, the editor made it too big in the infobox, I'll go sort it later. I need to go back to Ned's article at some point, he's the last of the Parker family to have their article edited. If you can find anything for it, that would be great. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:34, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Okay I'll sort Ned's picture out now, I'll work on it too, He was fit but he was soooooo annoying, although when he got with Janae I liked him a lot more, she was amazing! Sunny is probably one of the strongest articles we have, you should go for GA, It will defo be the second Neighbours character GA! :) How long does it take for an image to go through the keep/delete process as with Ringo's image? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:54, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- I added a casting section for Ned, trimmed some of the storylines and added to the reception section a couple of days ago. I just really needed to get rid of the million and one tags stuck on it. There is some more reception info out there I think and the Last Broadcast interview holds some info about his son (I've only used it once). I don't know too much about WP:FfD, but images will be deleted after 7 days if there is no clear consensus in favour of keeping them. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Neighbours talk page
Hi
Just to let you know, I've asked that User:Cluebot III archive the Neighbours talk page. It's just that some of the posts on there are 2 years old! That and it really could do with a tidy up. I've set it up to be archived every month, I've only set it up for the Neighbours page at the moment, if that archives ok I plan to split the work between Cluebot and Miszabot and add requests for all the current characters of Neighbours that currently have comments on their talk page. Keeps things nice and tidy and is one less job for us to do! --5 albert square (talk) 21:26, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, that's a good idea. I didn't realise that there were posts on there from 2 years ago! Shows how much attention I pay to the page. Minus 64,466 characters later and the talk page is nice and clean. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:38, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know. I go create a page that the bot can archive to, save it, set the template to that page and what happens? ClueBot creates it's own page and saves to that! So I now had to go and request speedy deletion for the page I created and change the template for the talk page to the one created by ClueBot! Might mean that the bot saves everything now to the May archive page but it shouldn't really matter. As long as it's archived and not deleted is the main thing! --5 albert square (talk) 21:47, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oh dear, silly ClueBot! Did you see that an IP added Harold Bishop to the upcoming characters list? I've lost count of how many times I've had to remove him from the table because it's not true. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:04, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Do you think you could get ClueBot to archive the Current cast list talk page too? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:12, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Done --5 albert square (talk) 22:33, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi!
This is to let you know that someone has nominated Ringo Brown's photo for deletion. You can find details of the nomination here. Please feel free to add any comments :) --5 albert square (talk) 04:17, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Has he left in the Australian episodes yet? Only I assumed that the departure date given in his article meant that his final episode had aired in Australia on that date. If that's the case then the departure date is correct --5 albert square (talk) 01:24, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. Harry hasn't left yet, June 11 is when he goes. When he makes his final appearance on-screen, then the date can be added to his infobox. I think it'll be sad when he goes, I really like him. In other Neighbours news, Sunny Lee will be going to GAN this week, so hopefully we'll have our third Neighbours related GA soon. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:36, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Neighbours
Yes, I decided to go for Rosie first. I was going to start at the weekend but the weather was too good to stay in doors. Loving the sun. Lol If I find anything for Pepper I'll add it to the article, I know their casting and kiss plot apply to both articles, killing two birds with one stone. :D I looked at EE's article being delisted, hardly major issues but they did have a fair amount of time to correct the small errors. I noticed you started archiving links for Neighbour's article, I'm suprised a certain group of editors haven't tried to challenge everything on Neighbours' articles yet. lolRAIN the ONE (Talk) 15:21, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to work my way through the main article to make sure it doesn't have any unreliable or dead refs. I'll archive them as I go along. Then if someone decides to ask for a reassessment, the refs won't be a problem! I also need to improve the lead at some point. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:46, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- So that's Oliver and Rosie's bio's added, you can add the archive links to them now. I'll do Frazers bio soon get it out the way. On Sunny's article you could merge "character creation" and "casting" into "Character creation and casting", I just noticed both are a little short. Is there a archive barnstar btw, you'd own it. :P RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:14, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- Done and done. I've merged the sections on Sunny's page, thanks for that. Lol, I'll have a look to see if an archive barnstar exists. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:31, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
I figured a lot of past characters are still without images, so I went on the hunt, I have 65 images awaiting. I just spent ages cropping and centering them. I found new ones for Scott and Daphne too, shall I replace their wedding images?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 02:19, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for Henry's image. Wow, look at his hair! Lol. I'd replace Scott and Daphne's images, can you place the old ones in the articles like you did for Rosemary? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:20, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the Barnstar! :) I just uploaded two Scott images, there are now three, It will need expanding so people won't moan at us for image over use. When I found the image of old Scott I just had to use it, lol. I'm suprised the whole Martin/Wilkinson family haven't been deleted yet too, I'll have to make myself find refs for them, Julie Martin should have something as she was hated and everyone loved her murder mystery weekend...RAIN the ONE (Talk) 13:15, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. :) I'm going to go nominate Sunny at GAN now and then start work on Danny Ramsay. I'll try and find some casting info for Scott as well (I love the images!). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:27, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, you made a good start with Danny. Max too I noticed. If we get stuff for Maria then the first gen of Ramsay's is complete. I noticed you nominated her, I wish they'd hurry up and review now, I should of nominated the article I did during the GAN drive... I have another reception link tthat needs archiving, [1] The url's on each of the pages are different, they are being used on Bronwyn, Todd, Shane, Annalise and Flecity.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:34, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- I only just noticed your message on my talk, thankyou for the Annalise interview, I'll get adding right away.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:40, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think I've got a little obsessed with the Ramsay family today, I've been adding the Ruth Deller reception info to all the articles and trying to find some more info to add to them. I want to tidy their family article at some point. Have a look at this photo of the cast in 1989. Look at how young Paul and Harold look! I'll archive those refs in a minute. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:43, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- That was a year before I was born, I managed to name every one in it, I found a picture of Harold from that year too, I might add it to his article. I finally found Nick Page's article, so I can add the image to that. I've ordred "Neighbours: the first ten years", from amazon, with cast interviews and Neighbours info, hopefully that will have some bits I can add to the articles.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:03, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

Sooo.. I think I've gone as far as I can with Frazer, Rosie and Will's articles (I wasn't sure if you were going work on Pepper or not, so I left it for now). Along the way I came across these two references, Metro, Inside Soap Nominations 2007 and LiverpoolEcho, Inside Soap Awards 2008, as we include award nominations, It's Reception Mania!!! Archiving would be good, good news is there are not seperate links, bad news or good... a load of characters were put up for awards for stoylines, bitches, couples, actors... that will take us a while to add them. Harold, Janae, Karl and Susan get the most noms, so finally a little more reception for them. (I wonder who was nomminated in 2009 and 2010??, LOL)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 03:56, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I've archived the Inside soap noms. You can work on Pepper's article if you want, I'm not sure how much I'll be doing today. I didn't get any sleep last night, so not feeling great. You might find these useful, if you haven't used them already; Frazer & Rosie at Lowculture & Will Griggs at Last Broadcast. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:00, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Hello. You are probably wondering why I'm removing everyone from the Willis page. I'll make them stand alone articles. I have the book of the first ten years now, so it's a handy reference.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:03, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. That's okay, I figured that's what you were doing. I was thinking of moving Beth at some point too. I have a few Neighbours books in the post at the minute, I was ordering them all last night. Oh, I discovered today that Mark Raffety who played Darcy Tyler comes from the same town as I do, lol. I now have a (small) Neighbours connection. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:08, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

- He was born here, but he moved to New Zealand when he was young. I've ordered "Neighbours: Facts, Features, Interviews with Your Favourite TV Stars", Neighbours Fact File and the first ten years book too. I've just been searching ebay as well and found a couple that could be useful. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:24, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Wow. I was looking for Facts, Features and Interviews via Amazon but couldn't find it, it will be a great source for all the characters in the series in 1989, presuming they focus on them. The factfile too. What are the names of the other books you have come across? I want atleast another. I like how Neighbours re-cast Scott in favour of a better looking actor. Lol (The 1st 10 years book isn't that good for facts or quotes though, most of it is just telling the story page by page.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:44, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ebay has a lot of annuals and paperback novels of the storylines. The one book I want is called "Neighbours Behind the Scenes". I found the Facts, Features and Interviews book on Amazon. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:54, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- So it is. I'll let you add everything from that. :P I ordered the fact file, just hope it has character facts too. I'm sure the best thing about books for refs is they don't all need archiving. My BF thinks I'm obsessed with Neighbours now. .. Not good lol.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:20, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

- I was thinking the same thing, some GAs would be good. According to Steve at PB, Carla has quit. I'm waiting on some sort of reference before I update the article and cast list. I didn't get round to adding info to Jim's article, I had to rush my cat to the vet. It's possible that it's had a stroke. :( - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:43, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

- She's a little unsteady on her feet, so it kinda looks like she's drunk when she walks. She is old, but I'm not sure how old as I took her in as a stray. Thank you though. :) I don't think PB have been wrong about anything yet, so I trust them. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:52, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Shall I upload some images for the main Neighbours article? maybe the Lassiter's fire started by Paul, or maybe the surgery explosion which Darren Star and Debbie Martin were in.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:26, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, since neither of the events are mentioned in the article. I was thinking that it needed another image, but not sure what. Maybe a pic of Kylie and Jason? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:51, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll try to find one of it. I know Images aren't essential, nor for decor, just I thought it looked a tad bare. Just uploading more character images atm. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:25, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
The Neighbours factfile is a right little gem, it has some info for the main article, family trees, character info, casting info..RAIN the ONE (Talk) 12:16, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- I know! My copy arrived this morning and I've just added some info to Beverly Marshall's article from it. I love the family trees, but they've grown a lot since 1989, lol. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:19, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- We got them at the same time. lol I didn't think about the family tree's expanding.. *Shakes head** I'll add some info from it too. There is quite a bit of crap in there too, like the Annie Jones interview, she is chatting about her father's love for fishing... Why didn't she chat about Jane!! :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 12:32, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
I've just spent a couple hours on Brett Stark, if it wasn't for the books I'd of found hardly nothing. One of the refs if from a magazine, TV Week, but their is no way of proving it with a link, but that's ok isn't it? As long as I put the issue date, publisher etc... I hope so... Who you working on next?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:35, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, Brett's article looks good. The TV Week ref should be okay, where did you find the info? Now I have the books, I'm not sure who to work on next. There is so much info to add! I might go back to Jane Harris and I need to add info to Henry, Mike and Jim. Oh, Sunny is now a GA! Yay! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:42, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- Neighbours fans moderators always post magazine interviews, I found one with Ryan Moloney and it said he auditioned for Brett.. Link here It might have some useful info for Toadie's page... Yeah, Plain Jane Superbrain... there must be more info on that nickname. Congrats on getting the GA, Henry might be your next one. :) I'll use some Brett refs for Danni Stark, just doing that now... RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:18, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- I was just reading up for Danni, when I found info for the main article, it describes the Neighbours producers going into panic over Kimberley Davies (Annalise) departure and Caroline Gilmer's sudden illness, so they featured a cameo of broadcaster Clive James as a postman, and the surgery explosion, in an attempt to keep viewers interested. Here, it's on Page 222... It would justify the image. (Just a suggestion though.)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:28, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
The Charlene paragraph reads well now. I'd of done it but I haven't felt like it, having a real bad time atm. I'll try to get back to adding more stuff to the articles. It will probably take my mind off things. I noticed there is another editor making big contributions to the articles atm, so that's good. :) RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:19, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, sorry to hear you're having a bad time. I'm not really having a great time either, but editing lets me forget my issues. The other editor created some of the articles and then left them, but if they've come back to help improve them then I guess that's a good thing!
I found this it could do for a few articles, 14 characters profiled in all. Not sure if you\ve already come across it. Here.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 17:32, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
ITN
Yes, I was getting quite tired of the T&T coat of arms, as well. I used a different image of Lena than the one you linked to, though I can easily change it- the one I used shows her face better, IMO, but I'm known to be no expert at image quality. Courcelles (talk) 22:32, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- The image you found is better, the one I suggested was just the first one I found (though it is of her singing the winning song in Norway). Will you be delivering the ITN credit to me for my nomination of the item? Or can I expect a different postmaster? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:40, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Hey, stop being ungrateful! ;) You edit conflicted me doing this:
On 29 May 2010, In the news was updated with a news item that involved the article Eurovision Song Contest 2010, which you recently nominated. If you know of another interesting news item involving a recently created or updated article, then please suggest it on the candidates page. |

- Lol, thank you Mr Postman! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:44, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- These sysop chores are hard- it only throws up about five different warnings when you touch anything... To change gears entirely, I think the only concern about The Hurt Locker that is outstanding- other than the order of the columns- is The Rambling Man's concern about the prose being repetitive. Do you want to work on that some and then do the copyediting, or do you want my awful writing to get near your work? ;) Courcelles (talk) 22:54, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'll go sort the columns now. I did have a go at changing the prose around, but I'll see what else I can do with it. I'm sure your writing isn't that bad. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:58, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

- I think you've made it better... and at the end of the day, switching the tables if TRM wants it done will take twenty minutes. And then I've got to find a new project- if I don't find something to write, and just keep pressing sysop buttons on here, I risk getting burned out. (Besides, I don't need to be pressing any mop-buttons. Seems about a quarter of the time, HJ pushed one slightly faster. He can just do all the work! :P) Courcelles (talk) 00:45, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, I think it sounds less repetitive now. Are there any articles that you want to expand or improve? If not I can give you a whole bunch of Neighbours character articles that need work, lol. Oh, how about taking up some GA reviews? I took up one yesterday when I went to check on the article I'd nominated. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:47, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Neighbours? Isn't that Australian, and aren't you British? If you need a GA review done, I'll be happy to do it for you, but as you should remember, I'm not an easy pass. Further, while I can't really stand soaps, if you want to work together on something unrelated to soap operas, I'm game, though ;) Courcelles (talk) 17:51, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- I am British, but I love the show. I've been watching it since I was young. My GAN is a Neighbours character article, so you might not want to review it. I'm fine with waiting for someone who deals with fictioanl characters to take it up instead. I've just checked my to-do list and I was planning (one day) to try and get Alexander McQueen, The Princess and the Frog and Julia Quinn up to GA. I don't know if any of them appeal to you at all. If not, what's on your to-do list? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:22, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- See this? It never shrinks. I even have books for one of them that I need to go pick up from the library, let it still never shrinks. I'll admit that I tend not to be good at fiction- tend to leave it for someone else everywhere- even WP:RFPP! McQueen doesn't look too hard (though I remember being victoriously opposed to putting his death on ITN), Princess and Frog appears to have entrenched editors that make it a harder target than it ought to be- the article isn't far away. Quinn, I don't know- the sourcing is horribly inadequate, but I don't know what is out there to improve it with. If they exist, it might not be all that difficult. Plus, it seems largely untended, which always makes it easier to swoop in from nowhere and work. (Of course, so does McQueen's, except for vandalism and its reversion.) Courcelles (talk) 18:49, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, you were one of the opposers for McQueen's death, eh? His death was my second ITN nomination. There are more sources for McQueen then Quinn. We can always have a look around for a different article or pick one from your list. Btw, I don't know if you've seen, but apparently consensus has been reached to place a {{Good article}} template on all GAs. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:42, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Just thought of something, have you watched Ugly Betty? We could try and get a couple of the episode articles up to GA. I've created a few that need some work, like Million Dollar Smile. Or I can offer two pieces of art, Modern Rome – Campo Vaccino and Portrait of Angel Fernandez de Soto. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:19, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- I like the idea of doing McQueen- I'll admit I was probably wrong to oppose ITN for him. The sources ought to exist without having to spend time in the library, as well. Ugly Betty? The Colombian telenovela? My Spanish isn't good enough for that, though good on you fighting systematic bias! (Most of my list, except Ride, is a matter of sitting down and doing it, there's enough in my files to do them. For example, the Volleyball FLC would need around 100 citations added- I have them all here, but it's still grunt work. Writing the ledes for those isn't actually that hard.) Courcelles (talk) 20:26, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Lucky I watch your talk page or I wouldn't have had a clue who you are! McQueen should be fairly easy to source and a lot of the info is already in the article, so I'm happy to work on him if you are. Ugly Betty is the American version of the original Colombian one, Yo soy Betty, la fea. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:37, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Apparently I don't watch enough television- it had never really registered that the U.S. had remade that show. McQueen sounds like a good next project since the FLC is going... well.... it's going. There's not much we can do with it anyway until someone comments. Courcelles (talk) 20:51, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

- Ha, yes, people keep trying to put Lucy Beale on the departing list and I've spent what seems like all day taking her off it! I'm fed up of trying to explain to people that just because the actress is sacked doesn't mean to say that the character will go. She could have her 4th head transplant --5 albert square (talk) 20:16, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
ITN - How Do You?
Hi
Thought I'd ask you this question as I know that you do a lot of work for the In The News section. How do you get an article to appear on the main page? Is it a nomination thing like it is for On This Day?
I'm asking because The Bill is due to finish filming I think on 14 June and it's obviously going to be in the news that day owing to the amount of time it's been running on TV. I was thinking of putting something together over the next couple of weeks that I could submit to ITN --5 albert square (talk) 21:26, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- You have to nominate it at WP:ITN/C when it happens and it'll need a paragraph of extra prose to be eligible. I'm not sure what its chances of getting on are, but it's worth nominating. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:39, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- In my view, the chances would be fairly small, but it still would be worth nominating. Even after 5 months, I can't predict ITN with any degree of certainty, except that national elections go up if someone does the work! Bradjamesbrown (talk) 21:42, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Kylie Minogue
Blimey!! Hope that comes true! --5 albert square (talk) 20:02, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oh dear, I must be the only Neighbours fan who hopes it doesn't come true. The publicity will be good for the show and I'm sure the ratings would be great, but having Charlene come back is pointless. She doesn't know anyone in Ramsay Street, except Paul and he's only her brother-in-law. Plus, the writers will have to explain away why she didn't appear for her mother's funeral. Btw, I don't think the 6000th episode needs a seperate heading in the main article, we can add the info under the 25th anniversary section. The 6000th isn't any more special then the 5000th, which we haven't mentioned. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:37, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've done away with it, changed my mind about it too. I think for one or two episodes will be fine, I'd prefer her to come back with Jason though --5 albert square (talk) 21:33, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Did you see how Neighbours are celebrating episode 6000?
- A lot of people are saying that they should be doing something more but personally I think that is about right for the 6,000th episode. It's not like it's their 30th anniversary or anything! It does make me wonder though if they're trying to recreate Scott and Charlene though. If that's the case I think they might be disappointed viewing wise. Mind you Network Ten and Neighbours probably still get giddy when they think of the UK viewing figure they got for that episode! Come to think of it the BBC probably do as well!
- Oh and did you read the discussion that went on at Talk: Lucy Beale before the character was recast in EastEnders? A few of us editors trying to explain why EastEnders may recast the part and we got accused of being in denial lol! See how quiet it's gone since we have proof that she's been recast? If that was a room you would probably have heard a pin drop when that was announced! Bet some of them feel really silly now! --5 albert square (talk) 22:50, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- I saw the news about Donna and Ringo when it was added to the Neighbours article, but I did see some speculation about it in the Neighbours forums yesterday. Yes, I can't understand why everyone is unhappy about it either. A wedding to celebrate the 6000th episode sounds fine to me, the 5000th episode saw Robert Robinson leaving Paul in a mineshaft. I don't think it's going to eclipse the Scott and Charlene wedding either, but the rating might go up a little. Ringo's mother, Prue is returning. It was reported in the Herald Sun, but it's not available online. The news isn't being reported anywhere else, so I need to find someone with a copy of the paper to give me the details (an offline source is better than a fansite forum).

Yeah I really don't get people being disappointed by a wedding, if I'm honest I didn't expect Neighbours to do anything for the 6,000 episode because it is still fairly close to their 25th anniversary. They don't need to do something special every thousand ep that they get, it's just an added bonus if they do decide to do it --5 albert square (talk) 23:26, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'm quite excited for Rosemary's return, I want to see her sort Paul out! I totally agree with you, I'm not disappointed by the news of the wedding at all. Sorry about removing it, I was a bit worried in case you wouldn't want me to do it, and yes I'd be happy to get started straight away! :) I also know Raintheone :) --AcidBrights (talk) 20:11, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Don't be sorry, it's okay. :) We definitely need the help with some of those older characters, we don't want to see them deleted or re-directed now. If you want to take on Melanie's article, I found this interview that might be useful for a casting section. You can also use this to mention her return in 2005, say something like "In 2005, Cowden was one of many ex-cast members who made a return to Neighbours to appear in an episode celebrating the show's 20th anniversary". If you want to take on someone else, have a look at the past cast list and pick someone that interests you. We've been trying to get the Ramsay family sorted lately, I think Tom Ramsay is my next project. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:27, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Of course you can help because everyone is welcome, it's not up to us, we'd love help because we have been taking on all of this on our own latley. But I would suggest not changing all the colour schemes the blinding bright blue and so on... :P Are you good on old characters or the more recent ones? RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:39, 2 June 2010 (UTC) Yes of course you can put your image on, it is better anyway! And I'm a mixture of both really, I can do them, but I prefer the more recent characters, as theres more sources and references and things. --AcidBrights (talk) 20:53, 2 June 2010 (UTC) Dylan Timmins is another good choice. A goofy picture of Melanie is good, she had a goofy really loud laugh, hope there is some info on that out there.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:00, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- You can work on one of the recent characters too! It's just that the older characters are the priority at the moment. How about Daniel Fitzgerald? His article needs some work. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 10:15, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Cleaning off my talk page
Thank you... I was attracting quite a bit of graffiti this afternoon. Guess it comes witht he territory of wearing out my block button. Can't complain- blocking vandals is what I was "elected" to do, after all! As to Alexander McQueen, I need to put down the mop and do some work this weekend. It's actually in pretty good shape, all things considered. Courcelles (talk) 19:40, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
That's okay. I haven't looked at McQueen's article for a while. I have some personal issues at the moment and editing Neighbours pages seems to be the only thing I can get my head round. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:16, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- I hope everything is alright. Is your cat doing any better? Courcelles (talk) 21:18, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- The cat is part of the problem. It was getting so much better, but it took a turn for the worse today. I'm going to have to take it back to the vet tomorrow. :( I should get a Giant tortoise, it'll outlive me. I'll have a look for some sources for McQueen's article tomorrow, I'm sure he's won more awards then just British Designer of the Year. I thought I had a potential GA today, but the lack of info in the reception section (it's another fictional character) makes me think that it won't pass, which is a shame. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:41, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- I saw that... I don't really agree, but, what can you do, eh? FLC says it takes ten days, but it's better to expect two to three weeks before enough reviewers show up. (I need to go and do a couple reviews there, as a matter of fact.) Though someone asking them to be switched back would be the height of frustration- it clearly can't be both ways! (Is it ironic I'm helping push through an FL about a movie I've never seen?) As to McQueen, you don't get to be considered a grand couturier without several more awards to your name than the British DotY.
Too bad about your next article- a Good Topic of Neighbours articles would be quite a feat. As much as I can't be close to cats, I hope yours gets better. Courcelles (talk) 22:27, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- Cheers! That was... surprisingly painless- good work! Courcelles (talk) 09:16, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

(Flagged revisions stuff... you can ignore it mostly- the software does the work.) Courcelles (talk) 12:38, 13 June 2010 (UTC) (Further, as to my work... I did the referencing, you really did the heavy lifting of fixing some awful prose!)
- Thank you for sprinkling your pixie dust, I noticed something come up about it on my watchlist. I don't think I did that much to the prose, just changed a few words here and there. The ref work was probably more important, you had to sort out the majority of them and I totally salute you for that. Talking of refs, I just had to sort out some in the Giles Deacon article. A bot came along and said that all the Fashion United refs were dead. I was about to replace all of them, until I found that the site had just changed the urls, so all is well again. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:45, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

The Neighbours Thread
I've started a new thread, the old ones are getting big again.. :) I was looking at the first ten years book, pg 60, of The Kennedys. It's got a great peice for Susan (and the others) about why they created the character. Something like "Storyliners felt they needed to take Neighbours back to it's roots, after all the houses on Ramsay Street were populated with misfits and distant relatives. They also gave Susan the job of teacher at the local school and Karl the local GP, giving the family imediate links with other characters." That's what it basically says right? It also says that Susan's good nature annoys Karl. Good though, Susan's article is looking better by miles!!RAIN the ONE (Talk) 16:00, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, please go ahead and add that info to the article! A creation section would be great. I can't find any casting info for Susan anywhere, all I've got is that Jackie Woodburne has played the character for 15 years. I have a relationships section to write up and I'm currently trying to find out who introduced her back in October '94. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:19, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- I found out that Reg Watson was the original EP as we know, then next one I can gether from closing credits which list the following as EP... Don Battye 1991-92 but was the EP for some years before but in some credits Peter Pinne is listed as EP along with Battye, I don't know atm who is best to put lol, but from interviews I've read It was Battye who was the head of things.. 1993-94 is Ian Bradley, maybe 95 too... 1996 - 2003 is Stanley Walsh. ..RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:26, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- I had suspected Bradley was the introducer for 1994, but the episode where Susan, Malcolm and Libby arrived there was no EP listed. If there is two EPs, put them both. I know Alan Coleman was in charge at some point and he did introduce some characters, but he gives nothing away in his interview on PB! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:45, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

I've done some rooting around and found that Watson was Exec producer from 1985-1987, Battye 1988-1992, Ian Bradley (1993), Alan Coleman (1993-1994), Stanley Walsh (1995-2002), Ricardo Pellizeri (2003-2006). Required a lot of visits to ramsay-street.co.uk and viewing youtube vids of end credits! Conquistador2k6 Talk 23:38, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. :) I think we've got some overlapping EPs here, so some characters may have been introduced by two EPs at the same time. Ric Pellizzeri stepped down in December 2007 to make way for Susan Bower. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:49, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
We have to be careful because of the over lapping hand over process. I don't know why but in the credits which feature the Kennedys, it still has Bradley down as EP, same with Stanley in 03.. So I'm confused. But I havent found credits from 94 with Coleman.. Do you have a link anyone? I want to get to the bottom of it now, then we can add them to all the articles.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:21, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- If we can't be sure the EP was at the time, then don't add it to the infobox. It isn't the end of the world, if a character doesn't have an introducer. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:25, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
I'll stick to what the credits say, that fan-site is a little crap. PB and Neibours eps are better for info too, everything seems copied on Ramsaystreet fansite..RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:03, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Simone's only been approached to come back, but nothing's been signed. What are the points that need fixing on Bianca's GA? If it's references or prose I could take a look. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:36, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Btw, I'm going to go and nominate Bridget Parker for GA. I worked on the article yesterday and added a little more reception and characterisation info. I wanted to see her on Ramsay Street... interacting with everyone, why did she fly to Aus to film it lol. Why would Bower say she Sam's coming back, then not. How confusing is all that. (I do remember from UK Gold eps n youtube that sometimes, Rosemary would get a call from ppl in Ramsay street, she would be on-screen, but sitting in her supposed New york offices.. maybe they'll do that again...)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 12:39, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

I've made a sandbox at long last, I was sick of saving work in word docs. I stole your handy list of publishers though, so thanks. :P I've worked on Joe Mangel, Lyn Scully and Beth Brennan too. I haven't found anything more for Sam either, everytime we say we will work on a article together, there are never refs lol I'm going to try and create Ric Pellizzeri too..RAIN the ONE (Talk) 11:29, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- How dare you steal my list of publishers! Lol, that's okay, another user gave them to to me when we were working on a GA together. I must add the Australian newspapers to them, since I seem to use them quite often. It's funny, I save most of my work in word docs. I only use my sandbox occasionally. Did you see I've created an article for Holy Soap? I thought I'd make life hard for us, so we have to go and make the links to HS blue now. I have so many things to do regarding the Neighbours articles, I need to add storyline updates for the current characters, work on the 2008 list, carry on improving the main Neighbours article and Steph's article...argh! I'm glad you've taken on the task of creating an article for Ric though. There's a couple of refs for him on DS I think. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:51, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

(I'm still waiting for someone to review Becky after a month lol) I was going to sort the refs out too, and state there was no named university on the talk page, but I clicked that link checker tool on the GA, then my pc started going mega slow and the inet wouldn't work. Won't be clicking that again in a hurry. I've done more too Paul, how far of GA would you say it is?RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:07, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I think it went through quick, because I'm special, lol. Or because I know the reviewer, I reviewed an article for her a while back. If you haven't got a reviewer for Becky after a week or so and I'm not too busy, I'll review it for you. Paul is almost there, I added some more reception info earlier (just award nominations), and I've edited the lead and infobox. I was just about to have a look at the refs and make sure they are all consistent with their dates, work and publisher fields. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:42, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- I keep trying to find more refs for Paul, today I typed random words into a book search and was lucky enough to find some reception info from a harsh lady, lol. About the Becky article, you don't need to review it, I only edited it lots and put it up for GA because I worked on it the most when I used to be Corrie editing obsessed, plus I wasn't hinting for you to do it... (I have noticed though, since the GA review backlog drive, not many review performing arts articles anymore) Do you want to help with Janae's article btw? As I've said before she is like one of my all time favourite's along with Carmella, I'd love both to be GA. Everytime I search about Eliza though, the tabloids seem more interested on reporting about her and Brett Tucker's relationship developments rather than her character. .. even though they split up like forever ago.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:26, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

- Hey. Elle's article looks okay to me, so it must be you, lol. I didn't notice your reply the other day, someone else posted on here, so I missed it. I know you weren't hinting for me to review Becky's article, but like I said, if you haven't got a reviewer in a weeks time I'll do it. I don't mind. I'll help in any way I can with Janae's article. I'm currently writing some more info up for Lana Crawford, I've already made a start. I think she's quite important to Neighbours, since she was the first openly gay character. I also need to carry on working on Steph's article and then sort the rest of the Kennedy family out (Malcolm's article needs help). I was sorting the awards article out yesterday and realised that none of the actors for Susan, Karl, Libby, Lou, Lyn, Steph and Paul have been nominated for a Logie award. How odd is that? Oh, could you possibly upload an image for Ben Fitzgerald's article? I think he's the only current, regular character without an image. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 13:48, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Martha MacKenzie
Oh there is a nice bit about a few characters on there. Glad she made a new issue of it, maybe it's because I complained for more lol ... but gaahh, she has named a Hollyoaks character as "Duncan Button" ... the HO website lists him as Duncan, once in the credits he was credited as "Duncan Smith" and is credited as that in inside soap... but I don't know who to believe, because before Deller posted that article people kept changing it to Button... Help? ....... oh and I know a lot about Martha, I haven't really watched it this year bcus imo everyone's leaving! But was shocked when I saw she had already left, I was hoping to catch her last scenes!! but Martha is good choice mainly because of Gordon's offscreen antics, you've made good head way in the article. I might find a new image, that one there looks like a promo. He cancer storyline got some coverage if I recall rightly too. I'm not sure of her actual name though, I was sure it was Holden alone... How random though, that you decided to edit her page. :P RAIN the ONE (Talk) 01:27, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

- I'm just working on some info for her cancer storyline and I need to sort the storylines section out, since it clearly doesn't include everything. I've been back through the history of the article and found the info that used to be there, so I just need to read through it all. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:34, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ah I'll leave that to you then, I'll include info for her pole dancing storyline. The cult story caused outrage too (it was a daft story anyway, because she ended up dating her attacker!), so there must me something on that. I've found a new image too. The storylines could be shortened afterwards to, as the most part of them is every detail of her and Hugo's relationship, when that was just the last year, most of her storylines centered around Jack, his wife Sam, her cult BF Jonah/Michael, also Jack and Roman and her pregnancy too - it was a bit of a "who's the daddy plot". - Did you find the Digital Spy interview? That's what I was going to use to add a section on the pole dancing. I'm happy for you to do that though, since you know what happened. It does sound like she had an eventful time on the show. Holy Soap removed her profile from their site today, but, luckily, I archived it yesterday. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:04, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm so sorry about my bad grammar. Just noticed you had to go back and correct things. One thing though, you know certain refs, I've noticed this many a time, but ignored it. How come certain publishers are not placed in brackets, it's on a manual of style for citing sources isn't it? Why do they do it though? (In your opinion, do you think it looks better with brackets?) What part of the article are you working on next btw? I might try and make a section in the development for Jack and Martha's relationship, as she has spoken about it many times and certain media sources claim they were meant for each other etc..RAIN the ONE (Talk) 21:31, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry about your grammar, I make mistakes all the time. In fact this was quite funny last night. When you use the "cite news" template it places the publisher in the brackets, the "cite web" one doesn't. Not sure why and I'm not too sure why I removed the brackets from the Digital Spy refs earlier. I think I wanted them to look like the ones used in the other articles, you can added them back if you like, lol. I was going to ask you if we should include a "relationship with Jack" section. I found this What's on TV article that might come in handy. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:57, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
So I've finished adding to the storylines, all that is left there is that some from more recently can be trimmed. I'll get to adding about her "who's the daddy" plot, I was thinking about connecting it up to the cancer section, because the two storylines played out at the exact same time and were connnected. In other news, thankyou for starting the review on Becky, I didn't want to burden you with it originally, but thanks now though because it's been a while. Also I added quite a few character images today for Neighbours, I must have forgot to add them when I aquired them ages ago. =)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:00, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Why do you regret it? I don't think anyone else is bothered about H&A really, but it's 3 who want it, one who doesn't. The editor is clearly ignoring what others have said. I'm not sure if I shouldn't revert it and get an admin involved.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:05, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

If Skteosk reverts you, don't revert him and leave it until a consensus is reached on the talk page. I think we should also wait and see if we get any replies at the WikiProject. The editor I spoke to is an admin, so if the situation gets worse I'll ask him to get involved. I just regret it because I think we could do without the problems. Hello once more. I've decided to distance myself from Home and Away, can't really take it on, as I don't think I can make all the changes, it's a hefty one. Going to stick to making GA's for Neighbours and Hollyoaks. I'll keep Martha going, but that's all. I want to make John Paul McQueen GA along with a few others from the golden era, (I went through a break up recently so have been watching my favourite McDean SL lol) ..might nominate Paul Robinson then make the changes required... I only just noticed why you weren't editing as much over that time, because your cat, I'm sorry & hope you're getting there now. :)RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:54, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. I've deliberately stayed away from the Home and Away cast list talk page today, but I've kept an eye on the discussion. I will go back eventually, since I started this whole thing off. I agree that the H&A articles need a lot of work and that we're better off sticking to other soaps. There's too many pages that need fixing and not enough people to help. However, we'll stick with Martha because I think we can get a good GA out of it. I did add some info and refs to Hugo Austin though, just so he doesn't get re-directed anytime soon. John Paul would make a nice GA, so I hope that goes well. Sorry to hear about your break up and thank you. It's strange I've had quite a few pets (mainly cats), but I've never been affected by a death as much as I have with this one. I think it's because this cat was kinda special, it brought me and my dad closer. Anyway, lets move on. Could you aquire an image of Glen Donnelly for me? I worked on his article today, so it's no longer a stub. Oh, I read today that Neighbours could be getting a new gay character and this time it's a guy. Apparently it's someone who's already in the show and in a relationship. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:13, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ohh I know I read that too, everyone thinks it will be Chris. I'd much prefer Andrew lol I will probably be critical though, I hope they do it justice and not shy away from it just because of Neighbours regular complaining family groups. I'm just downloading 6 Jul Aus pace, just to see Rosemary. Will Griggs' actor is in Home & Away now as Penn, yet he dumped Neighbours for a "film career" lol. I'll find that Glen now image too, I noticed you have been expanding quite a few early 90's characters today. Good job. RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:35, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- I think it'll probably be Chris too. I also hope they do it justice, but I think their biggest problem is their timeslot. I just watched Rosemary's episode today and I loved her office! Despite saying I would stay away from the H&A articles, I couldn't resist editing Romeo Smith. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:06, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well I never knew Romeo's name was Todd... Didn't even notice he was in Neighbours, but I can remember now, what was it about Romeo that made you edit lol?. Rosemary's office looked like that of a lavish primeminister didn't it! You never see Paul in one like that. I haven't even started on JP's article yet, there's this editor that is going around making new pages left, right and center, so I am having to make them actually look encyclopedic... Urg. =D Btw, sorry about the Glen image being a little odd, there were worse pictures of him, I the actor liked pulling funny faces.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 22:54, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know he's really called Todd or not, I'll to look that up. I thought I'd edit his page since there wasn't any info in it and then I found this and got way interested (he was never that hot in Neighbours). I loved how Rosemary had the fire going, surely New York isn't that cold this time of year? Glen's image is fine, not sure about his earring though. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:12, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, I found this too for Martha. Does this go with her pole dancing storyline? It says that she turns into a party girl after she discovers her boyfriend is married. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:18, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah that's right, Ash Nader was the married one which resulted in abortion and partying where she meets Cam, owner of the pole dancing club, well found. I added info for the pregnancy, however it's a short bit, so could you merge the section with cancer section, as they ran along side each other on-screen. I'm not sure if all thwe quotes I included are relevant or not, you're better at picking, I just get quote happy sometimes when I'm adding info. Lol RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Merging the section does seem like a good idea, I'll go do it now. I was just trying to edit the opening sentences, so they didn't repeat each other. I think the quotes are okay, we'll soon find out if they're not when we get a GA reviewer. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:35, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Shall we go for GA with Martha now then? I added a Jack and Martha section, expanded the pole dancing section out so much, it ended up being about her relationships with Ash, Cam and the downward spiral.. so I'm not sure what to call that section, it's currently a bit of a long name, what do you think? Also, I wish there was a ref for Martha's widow plot, for the Jack and Martha section, would of rounded it off well. We should be proud of that article though, we've made the best H&A article going. :p RAIN the ONE (Talk) 03:48, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've had a bit of an edit of the article today. I found a new source that I've managed to place in the casting, characterisation and Jack Holden sections (I changed the name of the section, do you mind?). I've been through the storylines and edited, trimmed and added actor names to them. I'm a little worried that they're too long though, what do you think? I've also added some more reception info. So, I think we're almost ready to take her to GAN. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:04, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- The name change to the section was fine. The SL's needed a trim for the bottom half anyway. =) I noticed just you made quite a few edits to it, more refs too. I think it's ready yes. :D RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:37, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Hello again. I will help with that. You know what's strange I found a few old issues of Inside soap in my room, 11-17 July 2009 has an interview with Esther anderson about her relationship with Angelo. I could add from that right? =) Ohh, I've been working on an article Jenny Schecter, she's like one complex character and everyone seems to have an opinion on her. (I love her though, but no one else seems too lol) It's in my Sandbox, but there is so much reception info. I noticed that sometimes you use other people's quotes for characterisation and development, so I thought I could do that, but I'm confused. If someone is critical over a character's storyline, is it best for that section, or just reception. Same with if someone describes a character... and they really have nothing to do with her, can that be used for characterisation? You'd think I'd be up on this by now. lolRAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:45, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, you can add the Inside Soap info. If someone is decribing the character's personality, habits or appearance, you can put that in characterisation. If the storyline was important or it caused controversy and there was a stong reaction from the public or an organisation then that can go in the section for the storyline. For example, in Martha's article we put the reactions to her pole dancing from the AMCA and Channel Seven in the same place. If a television critic had said "Martha's pole dancing storyline was ridiculous", then that would go in the reception section. Does that make sense at all? Lol. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:26, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ah yes that helped. It means I can make a characterisation section, still having a reception section for all her storyline bashing.. =) Oh and someone has gone for Indigo's picture, it's up for deletion, using the same reasoning as was used for Ringo's image.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 00:32, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Well.................
That is my first auto-confirmed article completed and I've now nominated it for appearance in the Did You Know section on the front page! --5 albert square (talk) 23:07, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- I think you mean autoreviewed, autoconfirmed is what lets you edit semi protected pages. ;) How goes the semi wikibreak, June? Feels like ages since we've talked (aside from the odd bit of talk page stalking!). HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:11, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- What does autoreviewed mean anyway? AnemoneProjectors 02:14, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- You have the ability to grant it and you don;t know what it does? I knew that long before I got my admin bit! It automatically marks pages you create as "patrolled" in special:NewPages. It's supposed to save time for new page patrollers. :) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 02:19, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- That makes sense, but I've NEVER understood what patrolling means! Which is why I've never done it. I'm even scared to look at new pages in case I do something by accident. AnemoneProjectors 02:34, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- Bloody hell, you'd never pass an RfA these days if you haven't hit the "patrol this page" button at least a million bazillion times. And, of course, one mistake means you have to wait another 10 years before you can stand at RfA! ;) They were nice to me, though, and they gave me a mop! You just click pages from the special page and review 'em- either tag them for deletion (or DIY for us!) or mark it patrolled and move on. Have you used RevDel yet? Or reviewed these "pending changes"? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 02:43, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah I've used RevDel a couple of times, and tested it in my userspace as soon as I realised it was something I was supposed to have. My first thought was "Someone's made a mistake and given me oversight." Not done the pending changes thing, only one page on my watchlist has that and the two times I've seen it edited were just people reverting vandalism. I don't see the point in it really. The last few times I looked at new pages I looked for the patrol button but because I couldn't find it I worried it was automatic because I was an admin and didn't delete the page. AnemoneProjectors 02:52, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- The patrol link is where I thought it was. But I swear it wasn't there the last time. AnemoneProjectors 02:54, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

- You both realise that you have talk pages of your very own, right? :P HJ, my semi-wikibreak isn't technically a break, but there isn't a "My cat just died and I'm feeling really sad, so sometimes I don't feel like editing" template. Other than that, I have two articles that I'm hoping to take to GAN soon and I need to finish working on the Neighbours article. I had a good look at it after the EastEnders article was de-listed and thought it needed some work. I've replaced a few dead and unreliable refs, added publisher fields to them and added some extra info to the article (particularly to the characters section). I just need to write a nice big lead now. Actually, could you just have a look at the 25th anniversary section, are we giving it undue weight there? 5asq, I'm glad Jordy Lucas now has her own article, I'll look out for it on the Main Page. - Umm... Not entirely sure, to be honest. The GA criteria are fairly forgiving about information no one bothered to document. In this case, there's enough there I might not even have thought about it, if I had taken on the review. (But as we both know, I can be on the easier side of GA reviewers- whip your citations into order and I'm generally happy.) Courcelles (talk) 01:53, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- I wouldn't say it's a huge issue for GA, but, honestly, I think the article needs more non-plot information. If you could find any more, it certainly wouldn't harm its chances in a GA review. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 02:04, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Neighbours Articles... Again
I'm just glad someone's finally given them the boot up the arse they've sorely needed for a while, When I joined there were only a handful (like 9-10) and they weren't that great (I plead guilty to some of these). I've been adding information like a maniac myself as of late, even for the duller-than-dirt characters like Taj and Hancocks *grimace* (somebody's gotta do it! :) ). Anyhow, Keep up the good work! - See, I told you that would work. Did you ever decide on your next project? Courcelles (talk) 16:27, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- At the moment I'm working on an article about a fictional character from a show I don't watch. I stumbled upon the article, saw it only had two sources and wondered if I could fix. If I find enough info, it could be a GA. I haven't forgotten about Alexander McQueen and I will get to him eventually. I just keep getting distracted by various Neighbours articles that need updating, creating, fixing, sourcing, etc. It never ends! Plus, I need to keep a close eye on Inglourious Basterds since its semi protection ended yesterday. It was protected a while ago because of an edit war and sock puppetry over the removal of a category. I decided to stay out of it, mainly because I don't care about whether the category is there or not. I have more important things to worry about. As long as the info in the article isn't been fought over, I'll probably leave them to it. What is your next project? I see you have another list at FLC. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:13, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I'm helping an episode of a show I don't really watch through FAC (Didn't write it, just picked it up and stuck my nose in). Spent two hours getting my computer to resize a video file, and now I have the motivation of a slug to do anything else before lunch. Then, by the time the 1980 Medal table list gets through FLC, I'll have another ready to go there... haven't decided whether to bunker down and finally do the prose for the volleyball medallists (It's referenced, if you want to help with prose and co-nom it), or try to do the run of 1984, 1988, 1992, and 1994 winter medal tables while the format is fresh on my mind. Courcelles (talk) 17:21, 7 July 2010 (UTC) I've not forgotten about McQueen, either.
Where did you come from?
Thanks for the fix on Notes Left Behind, though. Interesting book, don't you think? I can't quite work out whether it's heart-warming or depressing. :( HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:26, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- That's okay. I think it's a mixture of both, it's such a sweet and clever thing to. On an unrelated note, have a look at this, List of neighbours episodes. That article is going to take the editor forever to complete (there's 25 years of episodes), if he carries on with it. I don't see the point in it myself and have no plan to update it. I have enough Neighbours articles to cope with as it is. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:48, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- If he finishes that, it'll be one of the longest articles on WP. Season articles would be so much more usable... Courcelles (talk) 18:05, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- He's started a Neighbours (season 1) article, so only 25 more to go. Tbh, I think it's pointless. No other soap has an episode guide, since others exist outside of WP. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:17, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I think List of Doctor Who serials is the longest FL of the type, though it needs a little work, to be honest. However, Doctor Who has broadcast fewer serials in ~45 years than Neighbours broadcasts episodes in a year. I suppose it's doable, though I have a better chance of getting something I wrote through FAC than that list does getting finished. I know writing an FA would be a shorter task... (oh, McQueen... eh, I'll post some thoughts in the above section this weekend.) Courcelles (talk) 18:21, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- He's started a Neighbours (season 1) article, so only 25 more to go. Tbh, I think it's pointless. No other soap has an episode guide, since others exist outside of WP. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:17, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- If he finishes that, it'll be one of the longest articles on WP. Season articles would be so much more usable... Courcelles (talk) 18:05, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Wow at the Neighbours lists! Btw June, we have got a new Neighbours editor who obviously likes the fansite theme, wanting a new Jane Harris image because she looks ugly, changed Gails picture because she looked thin, editing other articles into those fansite recaps with bulletpoints.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:05, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, well if they don't like the images it's tough I suppose. The images are used to show the actor as the character, they have nothing to do with, in Jane's case, eating disorders. We can't just keep uploading images because someone doesn't like them (that would be happening every day otherwise). Those fansite recaps are really not helpful though, but I have noticed some articles are like that anyway. I'm sure we'll get around to looking at them at some point, maybe when we're finished with Martha. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:53, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Regarding Susan K's age
From all accounts, she married Karl around the time they were first year students in Uni at least a good few years before Mal was born and it was established that she was 16 in 1972 (the Amnesia stuff in 2002), so 1974 is a pretty good estimate. Conquistador2k6' 00:39 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Home and Away producers
Hey June! I was just noticing you've been doing some work on Home and Away articles, as am i as you can see with Indigo Walker which i'm very proud of. Anyways I was wondering whether you know the list of series producers from when the show started, like I know Cameron Welsh, and Julie who was before him but i'm not sure on the others as I want to do some more articles for characters. So if you could help me and tell me them that would be great! --AcidBrights (talk) 19:44, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hi! I don't really know much about Home and Away, I only got involved with some of the articles because they were in such a state. I'm glad to see someone else is helping them out though. The only other series producer I know is Alan Bateman who created the show in 1988. You could try asking at the Soap Operas WikiProject, someone might be able to help there. Sorry! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:09, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
A request
A little birdy tells me that you're good at digging up awards and nominations for those list of accolades articles the two of you have been working on (I stalk both of you- not much gets past me ;)!) lately. Anyway, I was hoping you could dig some up for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. I'd still like to get the film article to GA at some point, but if there's enough material, I'd quite like to write one of those lists, then hopefully you and Courcelles could help me get it up to FL. How was your birthday? :) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:01, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thank God Parnassus is a recent film, that means finding references should be fairly easy. Unlike the list I'm currently working on, where the film came out nine years ago (it's been a nightmare). I think the list is going to be too small for a seperate article, but I'll start a hunt for nominations and we'll see what we end up with. My birthday was good and the Film & Comic Con was a great place to spend the day. I don't know how many people can say they met both William Shatner and Elisabeth Sladen on their birthday. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:10, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Home and Away & Neighbours
New chat. =) Lol, you're totally gonna take all the articles. :p How distracting is that orange colour for H&A, let's see what everyone else thinks? I'll try and get some images for H&A too. I'll add that charlie stuff now too. You should try Donald Fisher, Alf Stewart, Irene Roberts and Sally Fletcher... the longest servers. :P Atm, I've been tiding Hollyoaks up a bit making the odd article, might have a look at Julie Martin though, keep meaning to do that..RAIN the ONE (Talk) 19:28, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- I can't remember how I found Belle's page, but I thought I'd change the infobox over and then I ended up looking for info and references. I don't really mind the colour, at least it isn't bright. In between the soaps, I've been working on a couple of lists, so I can take them to FLC. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:06, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
What's wrong with Orange? Always found synonymous with H&A and the sun and all that crap... lol. But if it don't work, it don't work. I just thought it would stand out from all the other generic soaps templates which all have a shade of purple.
I reactivated Don Fisher's page yesterday but have no references but have improved it somewhat compared to the mess it was a few years back. Conquistador2k6 Talk! 00:03, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I find another one. Some editors are just obsessed with infoboxes, not sure why. I don't think Natasha is ready for her own article yet, she's only been on-screen for three months in Oz. - I'll look for one now. You should make one for both of them. They're more stable than a lot of Neighbours characters, another thing they both have, more so for Diana, they're talked about a lot. Even though they are recurring, Sonya who was in as recurring for like one year didn't conjure up half the refs these two have in a short space of time. You can bet Chris will get a lot more soon, as websites such as Pink, AfterElton and the other LGBT focused sites. Actually, some of those websites have slated Neighbours in the past for poor portrayal of gay characters, such things could be included in the main article right. - Hey, I wondered where you went. Well, if no one has raised any objections, I don't suppose it matters anymore, lol. I think it could have both positive and negative effects on the show, though the negatives are kinda outweighing the positives at the mo. I can understand why they've done it, the show was giving low ratings for Ten in the evening slot. Their other programmes are quite successful, though two hours of news & current affairs shows sounds a little boring. I don't think the show sees much of the money from Five, I'm sure I read that most of it goes to Freemantle. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:59, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hello. My net has been down a while, still is lol. But I'll create a discussion soon for it, but no one has raised concern over the change so far have they. The book finally arrived and apparently the postman had a fight to get it through the letter box haha, it's rather good. can't wait read it all.... worse though aye... Channel Ten dropping Neighbours to their digital channel... maybe it's good they can include stronger content cus the G rated status goes out of the window.. but it really is a sad day like it said on DS... what if they drop it all together.. I'd just hope that Five and other countries funding would be enough to keep it.... going FOREVER! :) RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 20:57, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
What are we doing about the martha review? A few changes like was a fictional character, jodi gordon left, when she was still filming.. they need to be corrected, but no reply to us yet. The refs for SL's? I'm keen to get a move with this one.RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 12:44, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- I was searching for the episode details of her appearances last night and I've found them now, I just need to know whether that'll be okay to add to the lead. I'll start adding a few references to the storylines tonight. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:39, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- They won't be needed for the lead then. You can say in the creation part that she debuted onscreen... with the ref... then at the end, add in 'she last appeared ... ref'. Good find though. I wonder if the reviewer is coming back, I've got unanswered questions lol.RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 16:45, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- Lol, I just added them to the lead. I'll move them in a minute. Fences is an admin, so he/she is probably a little busy, but they'll be back. Now, just to be a pain, would you have a look at List of current Home and Away characters for me? I've split the departing and upcoming characters table into two, because it was a mess. No one bothered to add references, instead they just put a bunch of duration dates in the column. One IP has been busy today adding all sorts of dates and characters, so I don't really know what's true and what's false. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:54, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Half of these IP editors are living in fantasy land. I looked at that page, had to remove it all. To be fair, I think Morag is returning, but can't find the interview.. and Will returning is off the back of a foster child from the late 90's that is returning, but there has been no confirmation of who it is yet. Those recurring characters are probably on their way, but haven't been in it two minutes anyway. Haven't heard anything about the others. The durations seem ok. On Martha, it's not fair that the video be removed, it's just like an archive, I could take that FLV and archive it like it suggests in WP's official video cite template... RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 18:27, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
I've contacted our reviewer Fences, tomorrow will when they will be resuming some reviewing. We have been given some new tasks to do, they're on the talk page. Also I cracked on with adding the Last broadcast interviews to Zeke's article, finally. I'm a right slow one these days, I do have a tedious job now though lol.RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 20:48, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Hey, I see you have made changes to my Wikipedia article (Ivana Primorac). Thanks alot but her page was created for my English class. Your corrections could effect my final exam grade because they DON'T meet my professor requirements. - The edits June made improved the layout which would help with your grade... but on a whole Wikipedia isn't here to meet meet your professor's requirements.RAIN the ONE (Talk) 23:53, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you Rain. Hi Nalex, I was improving the Ivana Primorac article, not ruining it. I removed the reference that linked to a Wikipedia page, rmvd two duplicate refs (the Times article and the video interview are still there), I added more references to back up the information, added italics to the film titles (per WP:MOSTITLE), I added to and rewrote the information a little and I added a lead. The only information I removed was the sentence about Primorac receiving an Academy Award nomination, because I could find no evidence of that. Nalex, I'm also going to point you in the direction of WP:OWN. Primorac's article is not yours, if you don't want other editors to edit the article then you should not have submitted it here. Thank you for your message. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:30, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

- Gosford Park is a defining FLC, if you ask me. It means more of the type can be done that we might have assumed previously, since no one even mentioned 3 (b) concerns during the candidacy... So... what's next? Courcelles 22:13, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

- Regarding Slumdog, I should eb able to finish the referencing tonight. Some of these film festivals are very hard to actually source after a couple years go by. Someone mentioned the American Beauty list in Up in the Air's FLC... and that's why I've never tried to FLC that list. It's too old to easily source at this point. Hellloooo!!!
Hi!
Just about settled in to my new place now. Hopefully I'll be getting internet connected soon, Virgin Media did say 21 August at first but then changed that to 24 August for some reason so we shall wait and see! In the meantime I'm sneaking on at work :)
Anyway, are you up for helping with another Good Article? Once I've got my internet back I'm planning to work on Callum Stone. The article will need quite a lot of work, first thing to go will be the picture as I'm not entirely convinced that's of Sgt Stone, I think it's of the actor Sam Callis in his role from Londons Burning lol. Are you up for helping? --5 albert square (talk) 08:29, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hey! Glad you're settling in to your new place. I've missed seeing you pop up on my watchlist. I'll help you out with Callum's article in anyway that I can. I think Neighbours is going to get a lot of attention next week, what with the 6000th ep on Friday. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:39, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Slumdog update
The two St. Louis groups and New York Online (Which I would love to send to AFD as a non-notable walled garden anyway) are defying me, but everything else is now sourced. Courcelles 10:16, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'll add the new refs to the table today. I need to change the dates too, since I didn't notice that the refs were in the Commonwealth Style. I have one ref for the St. Louis winners, but not the nominations. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 14:14, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

An Education
I just watched the film. What a wanker! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:34, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- One small concern. Ref #4 (as it is in the current version as of my last edit) is to IMDb, which isn't generally considered a reliable source. That's the only issue I've been able to find (aside from prose and other fixes I've done myself!). Hopefully it'll be fairly easy to find another source... HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:28, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Lol, I've just corrected that edit. Ref 4 is to Box Office Mojo not IMDb (they publish the site). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:35, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Btw, I agree with you that David was a wanker, but for most of the film I really wanted to be Jenny (I kinda still do). I was thinking about trying to bring the article up to GA, it'll probably have to join my long to-do list. Oh, take a look at this - Chris Gascoyne. Rain mentioned somewhere up above that the article was being discussed in the Digital Spy forums and that's what I found. I can't believe no one noticed/removed all the crap. And the sad thing is I went to the article a week ago and failed to notice it (I was only looking at how to spell his name though). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 15:39, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

I added some new info and refs, before it was vandalised again (no doubt from someone reading the forum thread). I've added it to my watchlist, so I can keep an eye on it. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:00, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- He can join the (several hundred) potential problem BLPs on my watchlist. The semi prot was probably the right thing to do – if the article's being discussed elsewhere on t'internet, the chances of vandalism are pretty high. I'm just thankful it wasn't anything that would fall under RD2. Speaking of RevDel, I got logged out mid-edit earlier, hence the deleted username in the history of the accolades article. I couldn't believe he did that to her (I swore at him quite loudly when I watched it!), but I can understand why you'd kind of like to be her. At least the ending was a happy one! I recommend participation by fashion editors on the Ugg boots article. This is fashion footwear worn by such celebrities as Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Hudson, Jessica Simpson and Oprah Winfrey. In most of the world it's a well-recognized designer brand, but in Australia and New Zealand, it's considered a "generic term." Please help. Phoenix and Winslow (talk) 15:49, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Just sending you a quick message from my work pc lol, just to say it might be worthwhile keeping an extra eye on Neighbours today. It's been announced that it's changing to channel 11 and there's already been people adding it to the channel list when it shouldn't really go on until it airs on there and also people adding things like "channel 11 (2011-present)". How on earth they get 2011-present I don't know, last I checked we went up in years, not down! --5 albert square (talk) 11:26, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I've just seen the news. I'm quite worried about it to be honest. Moving a long running show to a new digital channel is so not good. I just hope it performs strongly or it'll disappear. I'll add a note about adding the new channel. In other neighbours news, apparently Margot Robbie hs told some TV guide that she is leaving. I've reverted the edits twice this week since the ref was not reliable (the editor just kept putting "TV Guide"), now they've come back with the author, page numbers, etc. I think I'm gonna leave it, but I won't believe it until I have a better source. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:35, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- That'll be a damn shame if she does leave.

IMDb
I noticed the Box Office Mojo/Imdb thing at the FLC. I've no opinion on reliability (and, quite frankly, I don't know why imdb proper isn't considered reliable since it, well, is!) but it might be worth replacing IMDb with Amazon.com. BOM says it's published by IMDb, but IMDb is published by Amazon. Since every time the initials imdb are appear in a featured anything, it raises eyebrows. Just a though. :) Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:31, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'll go change it in a minute. It is the first time this has come up, IMDb is usually okay as the publisher. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 16:47, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello!
Have you heard any rumours about Zeke leaving Neighbours? Someone has suddenly added him to the departing list but when you look at the reference it's that weird one from the newspaper again? I can't find anything on Google to state that he's leaving, wondered if you'd heard different though? --5 albert square (talk) 01:13, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Someone just replaced Donna's name with Zeke's name. I can't find any evidence that Matthew is leaving, so I've removed it. Yesterday someone removed Donna from the departing list, saying wait until the official site reports it. If we did that, we would have a long wait, since Perfectblend, DS, Holy Soap & TV Week usually report these things first! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 11:35, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah neither can I. I looked on Matthews Wikipedia page in case something was on there but nothing.
- By the way I had to laugh last night. Reading The Bill's page and it says that it's very popular in Australia yet it's been axed here because of poor ratings. Neighbours is very popular over here but not so popular in Australia. Lol, surely that's the wrong way round! Neighbours should be popular in Australia, The Bill should be popular over here! --5 albert square (talk) 11:55, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Lol, that is the wrong way round. How strange. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:10, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hey June, sorry to ask this but would you mind keeping an extra eye on The Bill and Callum Stone for the next few days? Someone has just had to revert some unhelpful editing on Callum Stone's article and I had to do the same yesterday when I updated it. The edit just now was reverted because it said that the character allowed someone to kill themselves because they were a child abuser. Whilst the character did do that I don't think that it was ever mentioned that was the reason why. The edit I had to undo yesterday was undone because it was full of spelling errors and actually contained a spoiler for Tuesdays episode! I know The Bill is likely to undergo some unhelpful editing because it's very high profile at the moment. Not sure why Callum Stone is, I can only assume it's because of the finale of The Bill, I'd say that it's the character of Callum Stone that's been most involved in the finale episodes? If what I removed from his page yesterday is true then he's even more involved on Tuesday :(. If they kill him off I will not be happy!! --5 albert square (talk) 12:23, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Of course I'll keep an eye on them, I'll go add them to my watchlist now. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:28, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks June :). I imagine both pages will be targeted, people wanting to change "is a fictional character" etc to "was a fictional character" and whatnot lol! I think my watchlist will be very busy this week :). I'm still planning on working Callum Stone up to GA standard but I'm planning on using this time to revamp the article. Don't want to nominate when there's the chance it will be vandalised! --5 albert square (talk) 12:39, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Hollyoaks
I need your help on something different. As Hollyoaks has different spin-offs, characters sometimes debut or depart in these shows, they are still part of the Hollyoaks universe. Would you put their last appeared as the spin off? I'm so confused about this one, and it's messing the grand scheme of things up on quite a few pages. Anyone else who see's this too, put your opinion in if you think you know what would be for the best. =) RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 20:38, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'd put the date they first/last appeared in the main Hollyoaks show in the box. Spin off appearances should probably be mentioned in development or an other appearances section (or maybe the storylines). Have a look at Mercy Olubunmi. She debuted in E20, but her first appearance is listed as the date she entered the main EE show. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:31, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thankyou. I'll do that then. It does make more sense I guess, you know what I'm like though. Little details that irratate me through and through. :p P.S. someone, anyone, review Martha! She's prehistoric now! lol RAIN..the..ONE HOTLINE 22:29, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
