Conflict of Interest

edit

Hello, Jy. I recently recommended on a edit log at Australian Greens that you should declare a conflict of interest, however I see that you have already done so. I would refer you to WP:Conflict of interest#Campaigning, political which does indeed make it inappropriate for you to be editing pages about yourself, your supporters, and your opponents, which I see the majority of your contributions are about. I hope you will refrain from doing this in the future. Thanks DeadlyRampage26 (talk) 05:01, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to point out that, similar to your suggestion, I believe you should also consider declaring a conflict of interest. As your user page indicates that you clearly fervently oppose the Greens, your involvement in editing pages related to the Greens may also fall under the same guidelines you referenced. WP:COIPOLITICAL states that editing pages about topics where one has a strong political position could be considered promotional or propagandistic by others. I hope you'll take this into account in your future edits as well, Zionist. Thanks! Jy Sandford (talk) 05:08, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Got no clue where on my user page it says I am 'fervently' or in any other way opposed to the Greens itself. Hamas sympathisers such as yourself, maybe. Also just a genuine question - Why run for Jagajaga when it is quite literally impossible for you to win? Seems like a waste of resources, no? Thanks - your local palestinian-bombing aussie zionist liberal voter thats quite happy to allow my taxes to fund BAE DeadlyRampage26 (talk) 09:11, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
You both need to cool it with the personal attacks, before this ends up somewhere that results in you both being topic banned from Australian politics. TarnishedPathtalk 11:12, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Apologies @TarnishedPath; will keep it clean from here on out :) Jy Sandford (talk) 11:15, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
