@Abishe: Hi, Abishe. I added some more categories that I found to be suitable. Will those suffice? Kaljami (talk) 11:50, 26 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Kaljami: That's fine and I am glad you understood it. The categories that you added are sufficient enough. I will remove the improve categories template. Happy editing. Abishe (talk) 12:54, 26 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Mediabiasfactcheck as a reference

edit

Hi Kaljami. I noticed that you used [1] mediabiasfactcheck.com as a reference in Honolulu Star-Advertiser. Please note that the general consensus as expressed at WP:RSP and WP:RSN is that it does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for such information. I've gone ahead and removed it. If you disagree, let's discuss it. You may want to check WP:RSP and WP:RSN to help determine if a source is reliable. Thanks.--Hipal (talk) 01:13, 23 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of League of Finnish-American Societies

edit

Hello, Kaljami

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username DoubleGrazing, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, League of Finnish-American Societies, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|DoubleGrazing}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Polynesian Confederation

edit

Hello, there. I noticed a recent change that you made in Hawaiian Kingdom. You added a red link to Polynesian Confederation and capitalized the word “Confederation” in doing so. The way the sentence is currently structured (referring to “a Polynesian Confederation, with the indefinite article “a”) makes me think that that there isn’t a specific confederation called the “Polynesian Confederation. If that’s the case, then “Confederation” should be lowercase.

Is there a specific “Polynesian Confederation” with that name? —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message. 16:57, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Eyer:Heya! There was an entity by that name that was under planning, but never came to be. That's why I capitalized it. I'm translating an article about it right now. Kaljami (talk) 17:04, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

BLAR notice

edit

Hi there. While reviewing new pages, I noticed that a page you created, Saint Henry Cross, likely does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines as a standalone article. As an alternative to deletion, I've redirected it to Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. If you disagree, feel free to revert my redirect and we can proceed to a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 19:03, 12 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
