editHello, I'm Neutralhomer. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to WTTZ-LP have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Greetings Kangaroo18,
I noticed that Unknown User1234 reverted one of your edits, removing the "HD1" label you added from the main program format in the Infobox, claiming that there is no need to label it. I recently started a topic in the WikiProject Radio Stations talk page here seeking consensus on labeling the main program format, as some editors including you, me, and others are labeling the main program format while others are removing the labels. The topic currently has four replies. The problem is that the project page currently doesn't include any instructions for labeling the formats of FM HD stations running subchannels. I'm proposing that we add instructions, including how to label the main format, if at all. I encourage you to reply to the topic letting the community know your opinion. Thanks, Pageographer (talk) 12:06, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KZJF, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Defunct (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

WWZY and WBHX
editWWZY and WBHX have separate histories and should have separate articles. Wikipedia is a historical encyclopedia, and is not only concerned with the current format of a given radio station. If the stations had always simulcast one another, it would be fine for them to share one article, but that is not the case.--Tdl1060 (talk) 21:32, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
An article you recently created, KLCJ, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. November 2018
editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at WJFN. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Whispering 19:28, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

June 2019
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give WSOM a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. This notice also covers your edits to WRQX. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 04:24, 3 June 2019 (UTC)

it's and its
editHi, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to draw your attention to this edit. Please understand that "it's" is a contraction of "it is"; whenever it's is used, substitution of "it is" should make sense. The word "its" is a possessive denoting ownership as in "its head" or "its thoughts".
Actually, it's should almost never be used as stated in the manual of style: "Missing letters are replaced by an apostrophe in multiple-word contractions. Contractions should not be used in Wikipedia." Thus, occurrences of "it's" should be replaced by "it is". Just a heads up! --LilHelpa (talk) 21:31, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
editThe article WODS-LP has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is not an over-the-air station, licensed or not (and an LPFM in any event cannot be a "commercial FM radio station"), but an Internet radio station; any presumption of notability for broadcast stations is unlikely to apply to Internet-only stations, and I can't imagine how this meets the general notability guideline.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 18:16, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of WODS-LP
editPlease do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at WODS-LP. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Let's talk about WODS-LP
editThis article, primarily written by you, has been speedily deleted as "vandalism". On reviewing the now-deleted article, it is apparent that not a single link you included in the article actually works. I can't actually find any evidence that this station exists. Since you seem to have specialized in stations, I'd like to hear how you came to create this article, and whether you followed your usual practices for obtaining external links; if so, I'd like to know what your usual practices are in this regard. It is surprising to see an experienced editor produce an article of this nature, and it's worthwhile to try to work out what has gone wrong here. I'll watch your page for a response, or you can leave me a message on my talk page. Risker (talk) 04:42, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
I have done absolutely nothing wrong and it was just one page after all the years of editing I have done. All I do is edit radio station pages with the information I get from [1] to keep the page up to date with the latest changes to the station and it's format or frequency change or anything like that. I don't touch any major wikipedia page like something historical. I have been editing and updating radio station pages for about a year or more and I follow the guidelines and reference the information that I use and cite the exact page where I got it from everytime. I don't know why all because of one page I was permanently blocked and can no longer edit. Please let me know what I need to do to get my IP address unblocked and my account unblocked so that I can get it fixed since I have done nothing wrong at all. Based off of the information that I have found, the station actually exists and I have information to back it up. All the links I provided and the information that I provided is correct based off of the stations website. Please message me back so that I can talk through this with you explain why I made the page so that my account can be unblocked along with my IP address. Sincerely, Kangaroo18 Kangaroo18 (talk) 19:04, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 20:12, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
