Edit-warring

edit

You are edit-warring at Jonathan Rhys Meyers in order to add uncited personal-life claims in violation of Wikipedia's core policy regarding biographies of living persons. As well, you are adding other uncited claims in violation of Wikipedia's core policy of verification through reliable-source citations. I understand you're new and may not be aware of Wikipedia policies and guidelines, but these are Wikipedia's most important. Please go to that article's talk page to discuss your proposed edits and do not make contentious edits without consensus. If you continue to edit-war, an admin may block or ban you from editing. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:51, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock|your reason here}}

I used JRM as a source, so how is he not credible? I suggest someone look at the sources I put up including on camera interviews with JRM saying what I put up. Meanwhile the person who feels harassed is putting up very wrong info. Why are his recent movies being deleted? Can you tell me how any of what I put violates anything? Especially since JRM is on camera saying some of it? Roots is a very important movie culturally, so why is it being deleted here when it's on his filmography?

In an interview published in 2016 Meyers admitted that he finds it hard to trust people and that he never uses social media. He also denied an apology that crept up in his name highly cited by the tabloids and claims to be an outsider in Hollywood. [1]

Rhys Meyers married actress and producer Mara Lane. They had a son in December 2016. Meyers admitted during an on camera interview for ET Canada that his wife and son are the most important things in his life. [2] career In 2016 Meyers played Tom Lea, the white father of Chicken George, in the remake of Roots. He said in interviews that the shoot gave him sleepless nights, but that his role as the villain was important to the series. [3] [4]

Meyers starred in London Town as Joe Strummer in 2016. In 2017 he was introduced as Bishop Heahmund on the season four finale of Vikings.

Lots of people say "wife" colloquially for the woman they live with. Do you have any verification that a wedding took place? If one did, it would be in the public record and a reliable-source publication would have reported this. Unless you have RS secondary-source documentation, we can't say someone is married. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:55, 12 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

I see. That makes sense, but he's never called her fiancee at all. Only the tabloids did, so by your argument fiancee can't be used either. Neither can girlfriend or partner since this was the first time he's even mentioned her in public. In fact the birth was outed by tabloids as well. Also his films are public knowledge, so why is outdated information being kept up? The Rising still hasn't been made nor was it released in 2016. All info by for that film was by word of mouth and tabloids. So you just justified why most of the information on his page should be taken down. And I never named the baby although a user lied and said I did. Answer all my questions please because this focus on whether she is his wife or not and you ignoring everything else I keep saying says a lot about who I'm dealing with.

One more thing the actor calling her his wife is more credible than People magazine or the Irish Examiner, some of the sources listed at the bottom of the page. But at least I have this entire conversation saved, so I'm going to post it on social media and see what other's think.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for personally attacking other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Coffee // have a cup // beans // 03:21, 11 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
I would note that while the block did not come specifically for edit-warring, you are expected not to edit-war to add material that violates WP:BLP, WP:NOTTABLOID, WP:NOTFANSITE, and, most significantly, WP:BLPNAME by adding the purported name of a minor child when neither the parents nor their representatives have consented to the name being made public or even confirming that the name in tabloids is even correct. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:27, 11 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I never did any of that about citing the name of the child. I cited interviews that JRM gave and are attributed to him. Meanwhile someone keeps posting wrong information and taking down his most recent works. I've lost respect for Wikipedia. That's his wife and he admitted that's his wife, so whoever is posting that she's finacee is obviously lying. How is my saying that harassment? Since this is a living person I'd assume you'd want the most updated correct information. I assumed wrong.

Decline reason:

I have no idea why you think "I don't know why you keep adding the information that this film will be released in a year that already passed when the movie wasn't released and hasn't been made yet while deleting real widely known information. It's like you're delusional" is a reference. It's not a reference, it's a blatant personal attack. That you don't see why calling someone delusional is a personal attack worries me a bit. One unblock request at a time. --Yamla (talk) 14:08, 11 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

So you ignore how right I am because someone who is putting up lies, blatant ones, feels attacked beacuse I outed them? That's so silly! The man is married, so I wrote that. I added his newest films and deleted obviously wrong info, but all that is ignored? It's like you want this man's page to be a lie. Is that integrity or your egos? I think the latter. Doesn't matter though because i'm right on everything and I know you know it. That's why you keep ignoring the truth. You ignoring my truth is what's totally sad about this silly situation. What worries me is that you are protecting lies being perpetuated on a living person's page using outdated and wrong sources. i had thought better of Wikipedia.
