  Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Microsoft PowerPoint. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Also, removing a template from the page in the process of inserting your link, like you did at Presentation slide, is especially not cool. --Sek-2 (talk) 10:10, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

edit

Your recent editing history at Preity Zinta shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Edit warring at Preity Zinta

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

The full report is at the edit warring noticeboard. Please be aware that paid editors such as yourself should not be editing articles directly. Instead you should be posting edit requests on the article talk page. Especially you should not be getting into wars with regular editors on an article where you have a WP:COI. Let me know if you have questions. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 14:22, 15 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of ZEE5 Super Family League (ZSFL)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ZEE5 Super Family League (ZSFL), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~Amkgp 10:12, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of ZEE5 Super Family League (ZSFL)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ZEE5 Super Family League (ZSFL) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://zeetv.zee5.com/zee5-super-family-league-all-you-need-to-know-about-this-game-on-popular-tv-shows/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

~Amkgp 10:46, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, KevinThomas71293. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Applause Entertainment, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Your LinkedIn page suggests that you receive salary/payments for this work. Please disclose COI on your user page. GreaterPonce665 (TALK) 19:42, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Undisclosed paid editing (level 2)

edit

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Applause Entertainment, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:KevinThomas71293, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=KevinThomas71293|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 23:51, 17 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your initial userpage edit was a clear disclosure of your paid edits. Please restore this disclosure immediately. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 23:54, 17 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I see that you have restored this disclosure, so thanks for that. However, if you have editing multiple articles on behalf of clients, you must list each one of them and the name of the client(s) that has paid you to edit. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:00, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
And you should not be editing the articles you are being paid for directly; instead, you should be making edit requests on their talk pages. See Wikipedia:Simple_conflict_of_interest_edit_request. GeneralNotability (talk) 21:20, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for listing the articles. I have replaced your initial version of the {{paid}} template with a different version that is easier to read. If and when you have other articles to add, simply add another bullet point in the code.
However, I must point out that two articles you listed (Zee5 and Amazon Prime) are not in your edit history. What other articles have you edited on behalf of clients? --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 03:10, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
For (Zee5 and Amazon Prime) its not paid contribution. I have freinds who work there so whenever there is a new show that comes out they give me details to create a page. I had a question does this paid applause thing affect my contributions? My end goal is to become a Wikipedia admin or expert so please do help me in learning and becoming better at it.

  Hello KevinThomas71293, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Draft:Ateet have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - RichT|C|E-Mail 10:05, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Skyfire (web series)

Blocked for sockpuppetry

Request reason:

Your reason here Hi I'm new to Wikipedia and learning. Please unblock me as this kind of behavior won't be repeated again. I love contributing to Wikipedia and as I have mentioned I want to become an admin someday. So please consider this as a learning. And also if you could help me where I'm I suppose to go when I'm needed to contribute to an article or an article needs fixingKevinThomas71293 (talk) 21:12, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:14, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Your reason here I'm sorry for sockpuppetry and going against Wikipedia policies. I won't be using the other account anymore and will build this account. Also, submit drafts which I have a COI through WP:AFC. I'm learning and this will help me become a better contributor. Thanks KevinThomas71293 (talk) 18:44, 8 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You were using multiple accounts to intentionally mislead us and try to hide your wp:paid editing. That kind of behavior is highly problematic and simple apology is not enough. I am giving you a WP:standard offer. Vanjagenije (talk) 00:36, 30 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Police Diary 2.0 (web series) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Police Diary 2.0 (web series), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion of Anaganaga

The page Anaganaga has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. signed, Rosguill talk 20:57, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Lalbazaar

edit

Hello, KevinThomas71293. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Lalbazaar".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
