COI notice

edit

  Hello, Kfarren23. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:35, 6 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Vaco (company) (June 27)

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reasons left by JSFarman were: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: The draft has been submitted and declined four times yet the tone of the draft remains advertorial, and the company's notability has not been established. I did a search and didn't come up with anything that would even come close to demonstrating Vaco's notability. I cannot encourage you to resubmit given that the article has now been declined five times by five different reviewers.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Broken-Reeses-Take-5-Candy-Bar.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Broken-Reeses-Take-5-Candy-Bar.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 06:03, 31 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Take-5-chocolate-bar.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Take-5-chocolate-bar.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Home-kisses-logo-brown-transparent (2).png

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Home-kisses-logo-brown-transparent (2).png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to The Hershey Company, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Kfarren23, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kfarren23|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Julietdeltalima (talk) 16:28, 21 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Julietdeltalima: Hi Julietdeltalima. I don't believe I was ever asked to cease editing, apologies if I have missed this. Could you please point this comment out to me that you are referring to, so I can respond accordingly? As for my edits to The Hershey Company, I was simply updating the existing information in the infobox from 2017 data to 2019 data. I did add a few additional template items for the a company infobox, but not much at all. I do not have any financial interest in the company. --Kfarren23 (talk) 17:38, 27 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Hershey's-pieces-chocolate-with-almonds-package.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Hershey's-pieces-chocolate-with-almonds-package.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:43, 4 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Hershey Company

edit

Please don't add redundant categories. American Chocolate companies are already part of the parent Chocolate companies category.

And I find your response to user:Julietdeltalima's COI question less than convincing. You are virtually an WP:SPA on this company, which suggests a WP:COI of some sort. Do you have any connection to this company or to anyone associated with it, financial or not? Meters (talk) 18:42, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

And I note that user:AngusWOOF previously pointed you to WP:COI. I think you need to explain what's going on. Meters (talk) 18:45, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Meters: I am sorry. I did not realize I added a redundant category. I will be more conscious of that. I do not have a connection to this company. I had been working here and there on editing pages across Wiki...many in the confectionary or baking topics, as well as entertainment, as those are my personal interests. Do you have any recommendations for me as I grow my editor profile? --Kfarren23 (talk) 22:23, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
