Speedy deletion nomination of File:Khale khalaf, Al-Arabi football player.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Khale khalaf, Al-Arabi football player.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:15, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of GCC football clubs by championships won

edit

The article GCC football clubs by championships won has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Random list of clubs by number of trophies won. No sources prose indicating significant coverage of the subject outside of stat sites. Fails WP:GNG and has major WP:NOTSTATS issues too. No clear inclusion criteria indicating what trophies or championships warrant inclusion in this listing make this inherently unencyclopedic.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kuwait Joint League

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Kuwait Joint League, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Kuwait Joint League: 5. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 19:15, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Jragh,crowncup,2011.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Jragh,crowncup,2011.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 23:13, 25 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Yousef Al-Saraff

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Yousef Al-Saraff, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Burgan vs Khaitan Derby

Hello, Khalid sadeq. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Burgan vs Khaitan Derby, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Replaceable fair use File:Ali,Maqseed,2015.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ali,Maqseed,2015.jpg.

Thank you. Whpq (talk) 22:44, 29 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Kuwait Champions Challenge

edit

See the proposed deletion policy page. Basically, someone else marked it for deletion (using a rationale of "Non-notable one off friendly match, no indication of GNG beyond routine match reporting."), and because nobody objected before seven days passed, it was eligible for deletion. Are you familiar with the proposed deletion process? Pages marked for proposed deletion will always be deleted if nobody objects during the seven-day waiting period, and as an administrator, it's my job to help delete the ones that are eligible, although I'm allowed to object and reject the deletion if I think best. If you'd like to know more, I can help you understand it. Finally Pages deleted through proposed deletion are eligible for undeletion if someone objects later. Are you making such an objection? As an administrator, I can undelete pages, so if you let me know that you want the page back, I can fulfill your request. Nyttend (talk) 01:59, 1 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Done. For future reference, please look at the messages people leave on your talk page; you were notified of the proposed deletion of both 2015 Kuwait Champions Challenge and Kuwait Champions Challenge. Please bear in mind that your objection won't completely prevent deletion, because it's quite possible that someone would take these pages to a deletion discussion, and your objection wouldn't itself be able to prevent or to reverse deletion. Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Khalid sadeq, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Orphaned non-free image File:Kuwait Champions Challenge.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Kuwait Champions Challenge.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:36, 13 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Mubarak,arabi.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Mubarak,arabi.jpg.

Thank you. Ramaksoud2000 (Talk to me) 05:40, 25 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

January 2017

edit

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Cristiano Ronaldo.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Qed237 (talk) 14:07, 31 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Cristiano Ronaldo shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Qed237 (talk) 15:07, 31 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

When people object, you should not re-add same content over and over again. It is better to start a discussion and find consensus. Qed237 (talk) 15:08, 31 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Unblock me, my reasons are simple all allegations of me adding unsourced or poorly sourced content are trying to be fixed and no user has asked me to respond to messages except 1 person when i replied he then complained i assure you i have done nothing wrong except trying to fix simple mistakes please re think this and all other pages that I have edit are Stub where i need help from people too add sources other than myself edit, ive contacted Boleyn (talk) apologizing for the matter once, i have been blocked in 2016 for the same reason and learned my mistake as i was new to the wiki world, since then all my edits having sources except a few where Boleyn (talk) has asked me to add reliable sources where i have tried to add. Khaled Sadeq (talk) 13:23, 5 May 2018 (UTC+3)

Decline reason:

That doesn't explain the other half of your block: that only 21 of your 5000+ edits are communicating with other editors. Wikipedia is a collaborative project; communication is mandatory. I find it highly likely that your lack of communication is due to insufficient proficiency in written English, seeing as you did/could not compose a grammatically correct and properly punctuated unblock request. Request reason:

Please unblock me, my reason is that I know that i do not connect with a lot of editors out there but i wish to be forgiven, i have contacted a few before, now I wish the matter would be resolved as i said before in my other request I will change for the better and fix all problems occured, i was blocked before and wish this not to happen again please forgive me, II assure you I will start adding sources and material to all my edits and communicate more with others. Khaled Sadeq (talk) 14:55, 6 May 2018 (UTC+3)

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficiently convincing for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. Yamla (talk) 12:47, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please communicate in English, as this is the English Wikipedia. Thank you 331dot (talk) 12:20, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Arabi, old, logo.gif

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Arabi,old,logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 14 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
