editHello, I'm TheoCourt. I noticed that you recently removed content from Silesian Interurbans without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Trams in Prague
editHi
Congratulations on your work on this page. Can I just clear up a minor point. In the historical section you refer to the two pairs of trams used for the centenary service as follows: "Their fleet numbers were 2210 together with the towing car 1202 and the pair 2110 with the towing car 1522." I assume this refers to tram and trailer combinations, if correct can you confirm which is the power car and which is the trailer in each pairing? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 16:22, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- The first numbers are power cars with the latter numbers being the trailers. I appreciate all the cleanups, good to have a second pair of eyes. Kmlbon (talk) 16:25, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks Murgatroyd49 (talk) 17:28, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
Most – Litvínov Trams moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Most – Litvínov Trams, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~StyyxTalk? 20:14, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- I will attempt to find references in Czech however it is unlikely there will be many references; at least I couldn't find much and it was a work in progress. I think your judgement has been too harsh in this instance. There are many articles on Wikipedia where references are widely available. The article is mainly a succinct translation from the Czech Wikipedia with context carefully checked, and could be judged as a Start Class article. I have added some references; the only ones I could find for the timebeing. Please reconsider, I have submitted the draft for review, and will amend the article with references when I can find them Kmlbon (talk) 20:58, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- If there are no sources confirming a statement presented as a fact in an article, then it fails WP:V and should probably be removed. You had 8000+ bytes/850 words in that article, and not a single source. Sorry but draftifying that is nowhere near being harsh. You have submitted it for review with four sources. Although better than nothing, a majority of the draft is still unsourced. This also the same with Trams in Ostrava. The burden is on you to show references for material you add. Of course others can help you with that, but in this case, I don't speak a word Czech. If you are struggling to find sources, you can perhaps ask for help at WikiProject Czech Republic or the village pump on cswiki. However, I did find some English sources on the trams of Ostrava written by academics: [1], [2], which I'd strongly recommend using over shady websites. ~StyyxTalk? 15:23, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- There are millions of current articles on Wikipedia that wouldn't pass WP:V and you want to remove a translated article that is a work in progress - what is your angle here? The only thing I can admit to not knowing is the Draft function! Kmlbon (talk) 15:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

Velella Velella Talk 22:59, 8 June 2022 (UTC)Hi, I removed the PROD from the talk page, it doesn't belong there and deleting the article would not be appropriate in this case anyway. I advise you to simply create the new article and merge the content of Liberec-Jablonec tramway into it (assuming this idea has consensus), then replace the content of that article with a redirect to the other. This is necessary to preserve attribution in the page history. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 12:29, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited UEFA Euro 2024, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daniel Siebert. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

- Without proper coverage, there is no need for a long list of DLC and updates. The developer's own website is no reason for inclusion. And WP:WHATABOUTX is not an argument. The WP:BURDEN is on you. Please come up with reliable sources. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 20:04, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

Unsourced articles
editHi! I see that you recently created many articles without citing any sources. This shouldn't be done, as all articles should reference reliable sources, both to verify the claims they make and to show they pass the general notability guideline. If you want, Help:Referencing for beginners can be helpful. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 14:15, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- Well, surely sources can be added as the article progresses? Soybean46 (talk) 14:17, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- Things you write should be sourced. It is not the job of other editors in the future to source them "as the article progresses", especially when you are creating a large number of articles successively. Also, not having sources means new page reviewers can't know if your articles are fit for mainspace.Writing one well-sourced article is more productive than 10 unsourced articles, and the latter can even become a burden on other editors and the encyclopedia.
