Speedy deletion nomination of Samviti.com
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Samviti.com, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Saurabh kumar sharma
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Saurabh kumar sharma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Kr.saurabh10. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Saurabh kumar sharma, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Vanamonde (talk) 04:57, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
Dear Vanamonde93 thank you for asking this question. Saurabh is a very common name in India which you will find out with a simple google search here. I just happen to share my first name with [Saurabh Kumar Sharma] with no personal or professional relationship with him. Also, the language used is neutral, unbiased and of encyclopedia standards. You have been reverting my edits after removing links without reading them though is unjustified. He has more than 1200 mentions here against his name which fulfills the criteria under Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage. / WP:CCSI#POLITICIAN or WP:CCSI#POLBIO
Kr.saurabh10 (talk) 19:21, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
- Actually the language used in the article before I cleaned it up was not of an encyclopedic standard at all; but that's besides the point. It isn't just your first name which overlaps with Saurabh Kumar Sharma; you also share an initial, and an interest in JNU (your only other substantively edited page is that of a one-time faculty member at JNU). Also, please note that WP:CCSI is an WP:ESSAY, specifically about speedy deletion criterion A7. The article is no longer being considered for speedy deletion; it needs to demonstrate notability, which is a much higher bar. Vanamonde (talk) 04:34, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Samviti.com logo.png
editA tag has been placed on File:Samviti.com logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
August 2018
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Saurabh Kumar Sharma. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Vanamonde (talk) 14:48, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
ARBIPA notification
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
This notice is simply to let you know that unless you edit within policy, you may face sanctions, including blocks. What you need to do is to slow down, stop reverting blindly to your preferred version of the article, and to read our core policies of WP:NPOV, WP:V, and WP:BLP carefully. editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Somnath Bharti, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Malviya Nagar.
