  1. Please assume good faith. If any of my edits have seemed unconstructive, please keep a cool head and notify me of my mistakes promptly. I try to be helpful and if I cause a problem, it is purely accidental; in no way are my edits meant to be offensive to anyone. Besides myself.
  2. Please sign your posts. Sign with four tildes to record your username and timestamp. Sinebot is watching, you know.
  3. Respond to all messages at the place where the discussion began. Meaning, if I post a message on your talk page, respond to it there, and if you post on my talk page, I will respond to it here, unless you specify otherwise.
  4. Nonsense gladly accepted. I like receiving messages, and I promise not to bite. Even if you think your questions are trivial, they may not be, at least to me. :)
  5. Place all new messages at the bottom of the page. Clicking on the link below will do this automatically for you.
  6. My page is constantly being monitored by dedicated talk page stalkers. Some of them (I probably don't know them all) are The ed17, IceUnshattered, Juliancolton, Nutiketaiel, Sonia, and Little Mountain 5 off the top of my head. Most of the time they lurk in the dark, but some of them might respond to your comments before I do. Don't be alarmed though; they might provide you with better responses than I can.
  7. Email me if the matter is confidential. But please include the word "Wikipedia" in the e-mail title so that I won't inadvertently delete it or have my spam-eater destroy it.

One of my worst pet peeves is a sappy goodbye. So for my sake, don't let it be. :)

I'm not leaving because I don't have the time. Well, time is scarce, but that's not the main issue. It's also not because of the community being harsh or ungrateful - you have been anything but. The last few weeks in real life have been complicated, more complicated than I can feasibly explain. All I could (and should) put here is that I'm a different person than I was when this began, and that this has nothing to do with Wikipedia itself.

Leaving is difficult, more difficult than I myself probably realize, and those who know me know how difficult a decision like this was for me to make. But Wikipedia was a phase of my life I perhaps can no longer take part in. To all my friends, thank you for the great time I had here, from the bottom of my heart, and my deep, sincere apology for not being able to stay longer.

I haven't been on IRC in about 2236467 years, so I hope you haven't been on and I missed you. :( Anyway, I hope you have a great life, my friend; good luck with everything piano, and I look forward to seeing your name on the news sometime. Email me sometime soon, okay? I'd like to keep in touch... With much "luvz" <3, —Ed (TalkContribs) 21:49, 9 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry to see you go... When I first joined, you were one of the first editors I kind of 'recognized'. And that was not because of a large number of FAs or anything like that, but because of your attitude. It's like Wikipedia has lost some of its colour now. After I returned from my long break, it was a nasty shock to see that black banner instead of the usual cheery userpage. I was just one day too late to catch you! We'll miss you, and this place will not be the same anymore now. Anyway, it sounds like you're doing well in your real life, so best of luck with that. Hope to see you around some time :) Chamal talk 12:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's very sad to see you go, La Pianista. You'll definitely be sorely missed. Hope you have a great life, and if you can, come back soon! :) LITTLEMOUNTAIN5 14:55, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Looks like I don't have time to stop you this time. Hope you come back. I'd realized you'd stopped editing in large numbers. It looks like I was THE last one of the four. I called us the FOUR because there were four editors I new who started at very similar things. LB22 (you met once), you (You left once before) and one of your other friends who I regret to forget the name and now me. We're now the the NONE!!! you will miss my Grade 7! Damn. The one person I know who'd care. WWWWWWWHHHHHHHYYYYY are you going. I now don't have anyone else to turn to. Dearest friend Chubbennaitor 18:48, 10 June 2009 (UTC) or Chubb3 as I was in the beginning. Our musical Connoisseur.Reply
People with great attitudes, people who are willing to stretch out a hand for the young, naive, and eager, are always rare and appreciated in places such as this ... everything will be a little less bright without you. There's not much to do but say good-bye, and hope that you'll be coming around again. I hope I'll find a way to talk with you after this. S'ya. Icy // 22:17, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bye Pianista! Maybe someday you'll start over like I did. Cheers, VioletShadow (talk) 22:29, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I wish you the best of luck, La Pianista. You will most definitely be missed, and Wikipedia is the poorer without you. Nutiketaiel (talk) 12:33, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

A friend of a friend is a friend of mind, and a friend of mind is always in my heart and mind. Good luck with life, wherever it may take you, and remember that you are always welcome back here when and if you decide to return. Until then, Bon Chance. TomStar81 (Talk) 03:33, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Revert

edit

You reverted an edit I made on the Oranges and Lemons page. The change I was making was to make the reference to The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman appear in the literature section rather than the Graphic novels section as it is a children's book and NOT and graphic novel. I know that Neil Gaiman does also write some very nice graphic novels but the Newberry medal winning "The Graveyard Book" is not one of them.

Pianista hasn't edited since the 30th. Perhaps you have her confused with someone else? —Ed (TalkContribs) 05:43, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Your edits to Oranges and Lemons were reverted by User:NarSakSasLee and User:CardinalDan. La Pianista had not not edited that page, and I'm not sure how you have confused her with it. Anyway, you should contact the users I have mentioned if you need to explain your edits. ≈ Chamal talk ¤ 06:33, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, TPS. You guys still rock. True, I haven't edited that page before. Though by a mysterious coincidence I happened to log on today, I normally won't be on that often, and I definitely won't have the time to patrol edits. Sorry for the misunderstanding, —La Pianista 21:50, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
