Beste Mach10

Image copyright problem with Image:ThermaeHeerlen.jpg
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

Thanks for uploading Image:EftelingCarnaval.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Mach10, I see you have created alot of articles about Heerlen. Cool! But the specific Heerlen based categories and stubtypes etc. are not really necessary on this wikipedia for three reasons:
Wikipedia can't house everything, categories, stubtypes etc about minor places may have to be deleted.
The Dutch Wikipedia is a much better place for your Heerlen-based categories.
Most of your templates lead to stubs or non yet created articles, thee number of Heerlen-related articles is too low for creating these templates.

Dag, ik ben zo vrij hier even Nederlands te gebruiken. Ik heb de tekst op Jan Stuyt herschreven omdat deze gekopieerd was van een andere website en ik nergens uit op kon maken dat je dat met toestemming hebt gedaan. Groeten, Fnorp11:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for uploading Image:PandKneepkens1.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

I'm trying to build a consensus for a Wikiproject Peer review process. I've opened a discussion page here. Would you like to comment? Would you be prepared to take part in the peer review process? Many thanks. --Mcginnly | Chinwag12:25, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also, I posted the IG Farben Building on the FAC on the 17th July. It currently has a support consensus, but only from 4 people. I'd be more comfortable with a stronger consensus and was wondering if you might be prepared to comment on the article? Many thanks. --Mcginnly | Chinwag12:25, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi I saw you reverted my edit on the Leefbaar-article. I would love the discuss the change with you. One thing about reverting edits. You probably copied the text from an earlier version and pasted it into the article. That way you loose a lot of information, namely red links and other code. If you want to make a good revert, go to history, then click on the version you prefer and then click edit. A red warning sign will come saying that you are editing an older version and that new information will be lost. But that's exactly what you want. Write something in the edit summary and click "show preview". Does it look all right? Then click save page. BTW next time please discuss reversions before making them, just because its polite. -- C mon09:50, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mach10, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Unimaas logo.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Mach10. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk05:37, 19 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Heerlen vlag.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot15:15, 4 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mach10
I noticed that you revert vandalism fairly frequently. Thank you for helping keep Wikipedia the best encyclopedia in the world!
However, I have noticed that you do not always leave warnings on the vandals talk pages. You should always leave an appropriate warning after reverting vandalism. (The full list of talk page warnings may be found here, along with some suggestions and guidelines for using them.)
Be sure to leave the correct level of warning, and if the vandal has been warned four times in the last month, (Check the vandal's talk page history. Some vandals remove warnings from their talk pages.) report the vandal by going to this page and following the instructions.
Thank you again, and may the vandals fail... J.delanoygabsadds20:44, 5 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there MACH10, this is VASCO from Portugal,
Just saying hi there, keep up the good work, so on, so on..
I noticed that you left a message on user PARARUBBAS' page, asking him about something he removed. My friend, i would say to you "DON'T BOTHER", i left him also a quick "reminder" (PLEASE don't remove brackets, links, references, which he also does, but I REVERT THEM BACK), and my guess is he is either a child or a nutcase, because someone who just does not their messages or talk pages, or even edit histories of articles would NOT behave like this: He enters the article, quickly glues all sentences there, leaving ZERO paragraphs, and removes LINKS and REFERENCE sections JUST BECAUSE!!
He must be PORTUGUESE like me, because he only operates on players of that country or foreigns who played in that championship

Hi there MACH10, VASCO again,
In my message above, where it reads: "...who just does not their messages or talk pages, or even edit histories of articles...", it should read "...who just does not READ their messages or talk pages, or even edit histories of articles..."

Image:DSM 1.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:Image:DSM HG, Heerlen.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all MediaWiki wiki's. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[Image:DSM HG, Heerlen.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 16:28, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on File:Montgo1.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. — Isarra (talk)05:00, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Notification of automated file description generation
Latest comment: 10 years ago3 comments1 person in discussion
Your upload of File:A home in Welten, Heerlen, Dutch Limburg (28 05 2006).jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sibelco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sibelco.be/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa.10:02, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
