Hi from Alaska
editHey Matijap! I noticed that you added the Slovenian word for Alaska (Aljaska) to the Alaska page. I just wanted to say hi from Alaska. I was in Slovenia briefly in 2001 and spent a couple hours in Ljubljana on our way through Hungary to Romania. It was a very beautiful city and I do plan on going back that way sometime in the future.
Have fun!
False Friends of the Slavist
editPlease have a look at wikibooks:False Friends of the Slavist. With your language skills, you can help us very much there, though there is not too much to be done. See also wikibooks:Talk:False Friends of the Slavist for details on what is still needed. Thanks in advance! --Daniel Bunčić 18:59, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Colorized representation of Great Seal of Vermont
editHi Matijap. The color version of Vermont's seal (your user name is in the image history) is not official and does not correlate to any versions of Vermont's official seals authorized by either the Vermont General Assembly or the Secretary of State of Vermont. The current description history cites a link to a U.S. Government site but has clearly been redrawn and colorized and is not the artwork being cited as source. The color seal depicted on that federal government site is not official either. The colorful version is clearly a well-intentioned effort to bring color to what is admitedly a colorless seal. But alteration of the seal must originate with the Vermont General Assembly.
As this illustration has caused confusion regarding Vermont's official great seal I am seeking its removal from wikipedia. If you are not the author of it might you know who is? Thank you. CApitol3 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 15:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, placed a response on the wrong page. Would you please respond to my inquiry? Thank you. CApitol3 (talk)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
