Ar. Admin

Wow! I followed a link and ended in your Arabic Wikipedia user page and found out about your RfA. Way to go man! Looks like a succesful nomination. Keeps fingers crossed. Hope that this doesn't keep you away from here much. Anyways, good luck with your endeavors in Arabic Wikipedia — that place will really benefit from them, I'm sure. Cheers! - Anas talk? 22:53, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your support on my Request for Administration

I'm happy to say that thanks in part to your support, my RfA passed with a unanimous score of 40/0/0. I solemnly swear to use these shiny new tools with honour and insanity integrity. --Wafulz 15:17, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Syria

For now, you can add {{User WP Syria}} to your user page to add a userbox and yourself to the category of participants. I've already spent almost ten hours creating and designing WikiProject Syria. I will report back when I'm done from designing the principal elements of WP:SY. Regards, Anas talk? 16:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

RFA

Thanks for supporting my RFA. I appreciate it. It ended successfully, cheers. SGGH 20:28, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

I've responded to your comments at Template talk:Talkheader#Interwiki link. I could have done it myself, of course, but I believe it's better to educate people than to do things for them. Hope you don't mind. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks. Cheers! —DragonHawk (talk) 20:31, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Many thanks, Ben. I learned a new thing. See you! --Meno25 07:33, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations

After unanimous support, you're now an admin, it will be valuable to have one that is a native Arabic speaker. Spend some time with the administrator's reading list and don't hesitate to ask questions if you're unsure. Keep up the good work, and again, congrats! - Taxman Talk 21:28, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Tell me..

..Is it just me, or is the font in your talk page messed up after the Signpost messages? It was happening in mine too, so I removed the messages. Hm, there seem to be lots of errors in Wikipedia lately. —Anas talk? 17:42, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes some of the messages titles in my talk page are missed up but it is not an important thing anyway. --Meno25 23:37, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Hm, I learned that there were updates in Wikipedia's HTML Tidy recently which led to these small errors. The HTML tags are not corrected automatically anymore. For example in the signpost messages, the last <small> tag should be closed with a </small> tag to fix the problem. I will do the one above, check the diff to see what I'm talking about. —Anas talk? 00:53, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Anas for your help. --Meno25 05:44, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Blocking

Since Mkenshin10 was a brand new account that only made vandalism edits, as a general rule we usually simply indef block in cases like this. It is highly unlikely he will return in 24 hours and make constructive edits. I'm not chastising you in any way, just letting you know. Congratulations on becoming an admin. :) IrishGuy talk 18:58, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Special note to spamlist users: Apologies for the formatting issues in previous issues. This only recently became a problem due to a change in HTML Tidy; however, I am to blame on this issue. Sorry, and all messages from this one forward should be fine (I hope!) -Ral315

GA grade

I've downgraded Abdelaziz Bouteflika from GA-class to B-class as you awarded it GA-status out of process quite some time ago (see here). I'm quite sure that as a new admin you now know GA-grade can only be awarded if an article is reviewed at the Good Article nominations page, but I thought I'd let you know just in case.
