Scratch that part about the user page. You just beat me to it. It looks like you're off to a great start! --TantalumTelluride 03:48, 15 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

en-4

edit

About the editing of your user page: Okay, sorry... it was a little rude to do that; it was just that en-4 ("like a native") stroke me as way too much. I'm sorry, I won't do that again. But still, your English is far away from being "like a native"; in your article about Canuleze there was hardly any sentence that was 100% correct. Mine isn't perfect either, of course. Maybe I'm just too modest. ;) — N-true 01:23, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Architecture Wikiproject

edit

Hi, many thanks for all your architecture and design edits. I was wondering if you might be interested in joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Architecture. Also we've been revamping the Architecture Portal and nominations to Portal:Architecture/Selected picture candidates and Portal:Architecture/Selected article candidates will always be welcome.--Mcginnly 09:22, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Byzantine names: suggested moratorium

edit

On Talk:List of Byzantine Emperors I've suggested a limited moratorium because I don't think the current discussion is leading to, or can lead to, consensus. I hope you'll vote, for or against! Best wishes Andrew Dalby 13:27, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Request

edit

Hello! I`ve got one request for you. I`m from Poland and I collect words in various languages. Now I`m looking for word "sugar" in other languages. I`ve got counterparts of word "sugar" in Japanese, Ahmaric, Thai, Georgian and Chinese, so can you write me what is "sugar" in Canuleze? I`ve got this word in 345 languages and dialects of many regions and countries in the world so it is very important for me! Thank you very much! Best regardsSzoltys

Didn't know you collect "private conlangs" as well? I would find that way too easy to boost up your list up to 1000 translations. Do you really include constructed languages that are only spoken by 1 or 2 people? :/ — N-true 12:33, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikiproject:Architecure Peer Review proposal

edit

I'm trying to build a consensus for a Wikiproject Peer review process. I've opened a discussion page here. Would you like to comment? Would you be prepared to take part in the peer review process? Many thanks. --Mcginnly | Chinwag 12:29, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

IG Farben Building FAC

edit

Also, I posted the IG Farben Building on the FAC on the 17th July. It currently has a support consensus, but only from 4 people. I'd be more comfortable with a stronger consensus and was wondering if you might be prepared to comment on the article? Many thanks. --Mcginnly | Chinwag 12:29, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
