This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Victor Ibarra. Techman224Talk 21:15, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your contributions. Wikipedia welcomes all active users. However, I see that on Victor Ibarra, you state that the bio was given by Ibarra himself, which you set as grounds for not deleting the article. However, this is irrelevant. [1] still maintains copyright, so you cannot simply copy the information onto Wikipedia. However, if you are familiar with these people, and you believe they meet WP:BIO or WP:MUSIC notability criteria, go ahead and write the articles yourself, preferably using reliable sources. -Lilac Soul (talk • contribs • count) • I'm watching this page so just reply to me right here! 21:18, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Philippe Hurel
editA tag has been placed on Philippe Hurel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -Lilac Soul (talk • contribs • count) 21:21, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Miguel Farias has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/miguelfarias).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:38, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Why I deleted your article on Victor Ibarra
editHello, and welcome. I mean that, although it appears that you are off a bit of a rocky start. I deleted the article on Victor Ibarra because the ICE.org website claimed to have a copyright on the contents of the article, and I could not find an older version of it on the internet that clearly was a free version. Under those circumstances, in which Wikipedia had a word for word copy of an article that previously had been published elsewhere, I felt I had no choice. If you can demonstrate that the article is in fact not under copyright, I would restore it. The also is no reason that you cannot use the ICE.org article as a source, which you can cite to as a basis for including information about Mr. Ibarra that you write in your own words. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions. Below I have placed a welcome message that contains some links about wrting articles on Wikipedia that you may find helpful. Take care, Xymmax So let it be written So let it be done 23:32, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
editHello Miguelfariasv! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 314 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Martin Matalon - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
