Nominal GDP ranks

The consensus on Wikipedia for the past several years has always been that all nominal GDP, Purchasing Power Parity and GDP per capita figures and rankings on articles are derived from the lastest publication of figures from the IMF, World Bank and CIA. The last publication of figures on GDP (nominal and PPP) from the IMF, World Bank and CIA in early 2011 were regarding the year 2010 and can be seen on the List of countries by GDP (nominal) and the List of countries by GDP (PPP) articles. These figures will be updated as soon as the IMF, World Bank and CIA publish their figures for 2011 early this year. Figures are not derived from speculative sources, such as preliminary figures on GDP for 2011, 2012, 2013 or any other year. Wikipedia is also not a crystal ball for reasons outlined in that article. UPP

Hey Missionary. I notice that currently if I google search the term "UPP", the article for Pacifying Police Unit is not showing in the search results. I don't remember if there is a way to change that? I do see that if I google search "favela pacification" that the current article will show at the top of search results. I think that a way to solve it is to change the title of the article to UPP (Pacifying Police Unit). Because I think that a lot of people are using the quickest search values such as "UPP" and then assuming there must not be anything on it. Would you mind if I made that alteration? Yeah but everyone knows what the United Nations is. Pacifying Police Unit is your own translation of what the Portuguese equivalent means. And in fact many English media sources don't even use that specific term.

By the way, I do think that your translation is the most accurate translation of the term. I think that Rio's government purposely configured the new name for the pacification program to imply a little bit that the police were being pacified, not just the favela residents. Hey, Missionary,

I've edit Jusitce Mendes page in English before, aiming to clean it of unfair paragraphs that were added by others, as you can see by checking how it was before I first cleaned it up (I've never touched in his Portuguese page before, I actually don't use wiki in Portuguese because a lot of time there are so many bad edits to clean that it's disheartening, so I just add info in the English version). Anyhow, today I read on the news that there's a big ruckus happening because of his page in Portuguese, are you aware what is going on? I ask because I saw that you edited it a lot too. I never wrote in his page in Portuguese and I just wish wiki to be a good encyclopedia, so I justed wanted to help out in what I can to keep things civilized.
