Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Chaga people. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Claiming in the edit summary that your edit "removed ad" was dishonest.-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:10, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi Khalidsalewa! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 12:10, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

The position of a citation in a sentence may indicate which statements the citation supports, and which it does not. When you moved the citation in the article on Chaga people, what you did was not "fixed grammar", but reduced verifiability. Have a nice day.-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:13, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Vugha moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Vugha, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.

  • This article needs to add some more history about this village and its role as the ancient royal seat in Tanzania.
  • Please see WP:PSA about the steps to take when writing short articles.
  • Kindly research and add an appropriate category.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Monduli District, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Majengo. Hello, I have reverted several of your edits to Somalia's coastal cities for categorizing them as Swahili settlements and Swahili architecture which is incredibly disingenuous to even refer to Somali historical settlements and their architectural achievements to belong to the Swahili's which is not backed by any archeological evidence or historical records. If you wish to seek these credible references go to [1]. I hope this clarifies it. Thank you! Ayaltimo (talk) 21:23, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi, you deleted an entire section of an article [1]that is backed up by actual journaled sources. If it was unsourced, which it wasn't, you should refer to Wikipedia:Content_removal#Unsourced_information. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Catergory:National Historic Sites in Tanga Region requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Mtwara Mikindani

Hello Halidtz,

I was just working on the Mtwara District page as it was very much lacking in everything, and moved it to Mtwara Mikindani when done. That page name made more sense to me for it to be there. Anyway, after rebuilding the page and moving it, I noticed same as you did last March.... /facepalm. I could kick myself! It was a duplicate with Mtwara-Mikindani District.

So... Will need to merge and redirect. What do you suggest be primary? For now I am going to go ahead and just clean the links and wait for your guidance before merging/redirecting whatever you think is best. Thank you for your time. -BevoLJ (talk) 05:47, 17 July 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Bwana Kheri

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bwana Kheri requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Hello, Mangapwani. Thank you for your work on Majengo, Muheza. User:Fork99, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

I'm super confused by the differences between Majengo, Muheza (the article I'm reviewing here) and Majengo, Tanga City Council. These are different places? But they're in the same administrative region called Tanga Region? Is that correct? Either way, the topic is still notable per Wikipedia's notability of topic guidelines for inhabited geographic places.

Thanks for asking, The two places are separate wards that share the same name, however, they are in located two separate districts in the same Tanga Region. Mnazini (talk) 11:40, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Mangi Meli

Hello Mnazini, great article. Please note that the date of the battle of Moshi is not correct. Meli won against Bülow's troups in 1892, governor Schele's troups attacked in August 1893. Stahl gives the wrong date 1892, all other sources (including German reports BArch 1001-283) state 1893. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:C22:ACAE:EC00:60E9:1F9E:8D7C:E (talk) 18:14, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Shotgun wedding, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 04:02, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
