Welcome to my archives! To make the job of investigating my past a bit easier, I have added comments, links to my actions, and I have also included vandalism and bad faith edits to my talk page that were previously reverted. My comments added at archiving time will appear in mustard.
A welcome from Master of Puppets

Happy editing!
P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :) _-M o P-_ 18:16, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
My response is at User talk:Master of Puppets/Talk/Archive/Archive4#Thank you for the Welcome
- Don't be so hard on yourself; we all started out somewhere. You're one of the better ones, as trust me, not every newcomer to Wikipedia faces fighting vandalism with a smile. You've done very well so far, and that is in itself something to be proud of. Cheers! _-M

Vandalism by CharlesStreet1: difference. It refers to his creation of my user page, which I immediately blanked and UtherSRG deleted. Reverted here.

3RR
Hi MrFish. I saw your edit to WP:AIV. In case you don't know, the 3RR rule doesn't apply to vandalism. You can revert vandalism as many times as is necessary. Just make sure it's vandalism and not an edit conflict. (I didn't look at the GWB history, so I don't know about the specifics of this situation.) Cheers! --Fang Aili 說嗎? 18:15, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Refers to this.
Hi Mr Fish. I am concerned about the GWB history, which implicitly accuses me of vandalism. All I did was revert the vandalism of the last editor. Something has gone wrong, and I don't like it. More details on my talk page. Viewfinder 18:49, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Take a look at the page history and at User talk:Viewfinder/Archive 1#Bug in Wikipedia or What?.
Thank you for the further message on my talk page, and informing me that is not just me that has found the system is not working properly. Perhaps the problem is caused by multiple editors simultaneously competing to correct each act of vandalism. I think the problem needs to be brought to the software engineers' attention. Missing Sand
You are a clever one MrFish (Seriously, i dont know how you did that), but I'm afraid I'll have to hold your sand ransom for the sum of your choosing (dont say 'nothing' because that's cheating). Have the (Insert sum here) delivered to my new sandbox page or I'll be forced to sell your sand to the highest bidder (I really have offered it to people!). Jive Monk 04:36, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism help
Well, I must confess, we use a bit of cheating; its a small application I use that helps me to fight vandals. All you need to do is about 2 clicks; you click once and it reverts everything, then click another time and it warns the vandal. Edit summaries come free. If you want to use the program, just go to User:MrFish/monobook.js and add in this code;
// Admin-like RC Patrol tools document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="' + 'http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:VoA/monobook.js' + '&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>'); // User:Lupin/popupsdev.js - please include this line document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="' + 'http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Lupin/popupsdev.js' + '&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>'); //
Hope that helps! MoppEr Speak! 18:36, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, could you take a screenshot of the problem? As if you go to your monobook and paste those two in as they are above, it shouldn't cause problems. If you want, go over to User:Voice of All's talk page and see, as he is the maker. Anyway, I saw you joined Esperanza, so... MoppEr Speak! 23:16, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Esperanza
Welcome, MrFish/Archive1, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member, you might be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee, JoanneB, Titoxd and FireFox. The April elections have begun.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact me via email or talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, please see the IRC Tutorial, which was written by one of our members. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to be!
Thanks! MoppEr Speak! 23:15, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

A moment of Wikipedia humor brought to you by Backburner001
Attacking pancreas? Is this vandalism or a medical problem? -- backburner001 14:33, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Block that vandal, please!
I noticed you asking (in an audit trail comment at James Bond) that a vandalistic IP address be blocked. Remember, this can only be done if the vandal has been warned by having the appropriate templates (test, test2, test3, and test4) placed on their talk pages so they can eventually be referred to WP:AIV. So any time you see vandalism that rises to your frustration threshold, be sure to add the warning templates to the offender's talk page. See WP:VAN for more details about the available templates.

Question
Hi, I noticed that you removed my comments from another user's talk page (gomi-no-sensei). Can you tell me why you did this? IronDuke 13:22, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Didn't edit it? It says here you did, right? [[2]] IronDuke 13:53, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your apology. I'm going to AGF here and take you at your word. However, I would ask that you be much more careful in the future about removing someone's talk (on a page that you presumably have no knowledge of) without first checking out the history of said comments. As you say, it can add tension. Thanks. IronDuke 14:14, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
The rest of the story is at User talk:IronDuke/Archive 1#Greetings
Warning vandals
Before relisting a vandal who has been blocked before, please consider warning them using a test4-n or a bv-n. I'm always reluctant to block someone who hasn't been warned at all for their recent vandalism. --Lord Deskana Dark Lord of the Sith 14:08, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for helping out us non-admin vandalism cops. You have just left a note on my talk page concerning ample warning for the "enemy", that they might convert. I was given a similar admonition recently from Atlant. I then asked him how new the test4 should be, and he could not answer, not being an administrator either. Perhaps you could help. Thank you again. --MrFishGo Fish 14:15, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Deskana's last word is at User talk:Deskana/Archive 2#WP:AIV
Reminder...
When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. — Ian Manka Talk to me‼ 22:46, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism
Hi. You have me vandalizing the Eric(name) page, when I was fixing vandalism and you posted after me. Will this block my name or anything. I would appreciate it if this was fixed up. Sorry for the inconvience. 204.210.183.25

A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
